Hi all, I hope you don't mind me joining in the waiting game thread...

So, our story is, we were told that my OH couldn't have children as he had 'necrospermia' which meant that non of his swimmers were alive after an operation he had as a young boy for undescended testes. However, we have recently got married and bought a house, and really would love to have children, so we went along to the IVF clinic, only to be told that actually despite the last results.. all was well with his sperm and we can try!!!!

So this is it, I have come off birth control (just incase) and we have tried this month for the first time. I am however, now thinking or imagining symptoms!!

I do genuinely have very tender breasts and feel quite tired! I have my fingers and toes crossed... 2 weeks is such a long time....

my test is my avatar. im pretty sure its positive. i know a positive is a yes your ovulating. i keep getting bfn but i believe i got a positive now! can you tell if its positive? i got brown discharge on the 1st-5th, and i read that was ovulation and i really ripe egg but i got negative ov test then a positive today?

got another positive, this is day two with this is it a good thing?

well I have not bought an ovulation kit and I refuse to symptom spot having said that I am now 1 dpo and I know for sure cause after being on clomid and it drying up my cm. I 1have loads of it off the pill, my right and open tube has been so painful, but I have been wanting to rip my hubby's clothes off everytime I get him alone!!!! it would be nice to get pregnant before them darn shots ouch!!!!

To answer you qquestion Loving about why we are only going to try 6 more cycles after this one is partly my age and partly understanding what it is to be truely blessed. We begged the good Lord for our last, and promised to be content. I believe we are actively doing what we promised. There comes a time where always wanting takes from what we already have.

I adore my husband but ttc is stressful, and these medications have made me moody, sometimes feelings of depression and I have gained about 7 lbs. I want to enjoy our time with the kids we have, I want to make love on a whim, and cuddle on a fertile day. I want to be excited when other women announce their pregnancies without coveting what they have. I really want to be me and by then we will have ttc for 10 months and I think if it doesnt happen, then thats okay too

God is good all the time. I believe this to be true

still waiting for AF or positive test! currently 18 dpo- itchy by my armpits/boobs, fatigue like crazy (took 4 naps today) ;P and im having twitches by my ovaries & belly button. im going to test again on monday but so far they have all been negative. i order some online ovulation tests/pregnancy tests and they should be here monday/tuesday.. i ordered them just incase this isnt our month(;

I took a test this morning :BFN: being at 8dpo I know its still early but daaamn can a girl dream come true for once..underneath my armpits is killing me and my temp spiked up from 97.4yesterday -98.1 this morning so hopefully this is a good sign Af is suppose to be due 6more days hope she doesn't shows up

I tried a opk too. Do you think it's a good sign getting a +?? I got a bfn on FRED yesterday with fmu. This waiting game is killing me.

i just read a bunch of comments online about this and it could be a great sign to get a positive opk around HPT testing time so good luck girls!!! i'm going to do this tomorrow just to see too!

just do opks this is my first dark one thats why im not sure if its a positive or not. and i just tested with 2nd pee of the day. so try again without using FMU. ;P i think thats what my issue was, was trying with FMU and my hormones werent really "awake" so i waited till i was up for awhile so my body was more awake and give my hormones a change to "get up"? lol

I had a hard time with the two line opk's. I ordered a Clear Blue Digital and it take the guessing game out of it. Smiley Face = Positive. So much easier then the whole "I think it's as Dark". I would recommend one.

I like the CB digi ones too with the smiley. So much easier to know. once i run out of my ic's, i'm going to buy more of those. i did hear they weren't as accurate though but i don't see how.

I Even agree because if on May 1,2014 My DH will get a vasectomy. I am still young this I know but our kids will have large age gap and I do want to get a job. I been a SAHM now for 5 years and I LOVE IT but it comes a time I need to contribute to this household and take the load of my DH. I am very positive about it I do have 2 beautiful little girls who do make my life complete. Although I would love a bonus I am grateful for what I have.

About me- Well CD2 and I have no clue when I will ovulate anywhere from CD13-CD38 SO that means I got a lot of BDING to do here in the next few weeks. I bought OPK kits and 5 CB HPT for this month. So im ready. I PRAYYY this month is the month which would be month 6!!

Hi there Loving! Pretty goood. I would LOVE to be super excited about my temp spike again today but i'm pretty sure it's there because i was a bad girl and drank last night. :-/ We shall see with tomorrow's temp i guess. If it's back down or way low, i'm going to discard today's temp and just see what happens. I'm saying a little prayer.

well I haven't had a single drop of blood all day since this morning; so I don't know if AF is playing games or if possible implantation bleeding...I will continue to wait and test in two days if AF is still not here!

Yeah, this journey is a crazy one and can take a long time. I'm officially on month 20 of ttc, with a few hiccups along the way.

That's a great positive! Is that an opk? Are you at the end of your cycle getting ready to test for pregnancy or mid-cycle waiting to O? Either way, that's a great positive! Get to BD'ing if mid-cycle or be excited if end of cycle as you might be pregnant!

I go crazy! He, he...no, i do go a little bonkers but keep as busy as i can during the wait to help keep my mind off it. It's surprisingly getting easier month after month. I think that's because i'm getting numb to it and just expecting to see a negative each time. I think i will pass out next time i see a positive HPT. Good luck sweetie and hang in there!

That's a great positive! Is that an opk? Are you at the end of your cycle getting ready to test for pregnancy or mid-cycle waiting to O? Either way, that's a great positive! Get to BD'ing if mid-cycle or be excited if end of cycle as you might be pregnant!

thank you for your feedback i was waiting to O and yes this is just a opk but i just got some them & tested the day i got them (yesterday) & today and both were positive (todays opk& yesterdays) we didnt bd yesterday cause my dh dont know what a hint is when you give him one so we did bd today. & will tomorrow but we bd 2 nights ago and 3 nights ago before we go the opks this is the first time ive gotten strong positives the other months i tried opks i wasnt getting positives so i hope we caught it in time!!!!! either way it should get caught cause we bd twice then skipped a day then bd today & hopefully tomorrow! so i HOPE this is our month finally! im glad i took the sign my body was giving me to get them!!!!!!!
