Lil - yup 90 min....pushing hard... I thought I was going to pass out ...but made it through...it is so worrying when they spend too much time on one area... She was a bit pushy too and the room was so cold (why do they make it so cold when all you have to wear is that friggin' gown!?!?) She was also asking me stupid questions about my fertility and why we adopted etc which kind of annoyed me... so no meditating during unfortunately! The technicians are not allowed to tell you anything they see -so I have to wait a few weeks to see my MD. They were routine tests but I always find those tests end up sending you for other tests...

Glad to hear your app't went well.... So great that you OV!! FX for you this month!!

:Hi girls, i'm new to this group but i too am in limbo as i am now 3DPO i am getting so many symptoms like sore bbs, sickness, and cramps and i'm so tired too i tested today cos i thought that if im so symptomatic then maybe it would show up,
I thought i saw a very very feint line but my hubby said he couldn't see it, i really don't know what's going on as with our son (who is coming up to 3yrs old) my BFP didn't show up til nearly 11 wks gone but i was suffering from gall stones at the time & i don't know if that had anything to do with it, what do you all thing can you be so symptomatic and not have enough hcg to show up please help i'm really confused!!! Thanks xxxx

Danswifey - hope you are okay !!! it WILL happen for us.... I am trying to remove all doubt from my mind about my fertility... I KNOW I can do this... not giving up! Every month is another fresh chance at making my body (and mind) better for this ...Although it's been a long time (10 years)... I've grown a lot as a person and I am thinking very differently now. GOOD LUCK!!!

AFM - I'm Cycle day 7 today so should be ov in about 5 days or so.... Yesterday I had ultrasounds done on abdomen/pelvic/trans-vaginal/breast and thyroid - I was there for 90 min!! (just routine -my doctor is really thorough when I do physicals she sends me for every test under the sun) I was covered all over in that gel.... oh how pretty . Just trying to listen to as many positive audio/video things as I can and doing 20 min. yoga/ uterine massage in the mornings... Feeling pretty good!

To answer your question, yes, you can have a bunch of symptoms and not have the hcg in your system. Directly after ovulation, most of the symptoms are caused by increased progesterone in your system, not hcg. HCG won't start building up until after implantation.

At this point, even if you have a bean implanting at 3DPO, there wouldn't be enough hcg to show up on a test. There just hasn't been enough time because 3DPO is incredibly early and it takes a few days to build up to a detectable level.

Though, I should point out that the egg usually doesn't clear the fallopian tubes and make it into the uterus until 5-7DPO and implantation can occur from 6-12DPO. But, because your progesterone levels are elevated, you'll still have symptoms throughout your TWW, regardless of what's going on with the egg (at least at the beginning of the wait).

Is it possible you're further along in your cycle than you think? I would wait a while longer before testing again and just keep track of your symptoms....

I have a silly question. This has happened to me before, but I wasn't charing when this happened...
Yesterday around 6:00 I did an ovulation test and was extremely positive. I took another one at 10:00. Again it was extremely positive and extremely quick to show a positive. I have felt cramps in my left side the past two days.
This morning my bbt temp went way up. I took another o test and it was another big positive. I came home from work and took another one because I have been cramping on my left side all day. It was + again big time. So since yesterday I have had 3 positives within 24 hours but my bbt rose this morning so I'm not sure if it's possible to still have a positive after your bbt has already gone up????
Like I said I have have 2 days of positive opks before (even 3 days) but I was never charting so I didn't pay any attention to temperature. Now that I am charting this has thrown me for a loop.
I'm currently on cd 23. The past few months I'm pretty sure I ovulated on days 17 or 18 (so this one seems a little late but oh well). Any help would be great!!! Thanks and best of luck to all ttc

AFM (As for me): Woke up with cramps this morning. I totally thought AF was coming, but my temp was still up (and has been up all day) and I haven't had any of my normal AF symptoms. Though I have had a backache and sore bbs on and off today. So...I'm not sure what's going on exactly. Half of me wants to be hopeful that I'll get a BFP this cycle, the other is waiting to see if my temp is going to drop tomorrow or the next day. I feel like AF is going to be showing up soon, even though I don't want her to.

I probably should have tested today like I planned so I could put myself out of my misery, but I'm going to wait until I'm for sure late. I don't want to waste a test if I don't have to. The wait is killing me though.

Your symptoms sound good Ella!! Can't wait for another bump buddy!

It sounds like you're having an extended LH surge, but you may have ovulated yesterday. If your temp stays up tomorrow, it's more likely that you did. I think it's 12-24 hours from the beginning of your surge that ovulation happens, but don't quote me on that. I would keep BDing until they go negative again and keep temping. Your temps will confirm when you ovulated in a couple of days and take the guess work out of it.

Thanks Sarah! I am hoping. Hoping really hard this month. DH is going to a wedding with his family next month (I have to work) and it would be really great if he could tell them all that we're expecting while he's there.

But my temp was a little lower than it has been today...I wonder if this is the beginning of the downward AF trend. I hate not knowing...

I can't wait to see more BFP's im stalking.. I'm not leaving here until my Wendy gets her BFP, and all you other ladies, posey Gemmy, lilsuz , Ella and everyone else.. we all want this so much, I feel so blessed and lucky, i'm sending you all my love and best of luck to catch tho lil eggys xxx

Boo hoo hoo, my temps have been falling a bit the past 2 mornings. Not below the coverline, I know I'm not out yet, but not feeling too hopeful... I was hoping hoping hoping for a triphasic pattern! But alas. Maybe this month isn't my month either, sigh. 10dpo today. If AF shows this month, my hubby is booked in for a analysis, just to make sure everything is ok. It'll only be half a year of trying (feels like FOREVER already!), but with my family all being dead or sick (haha... no, seriously), I feel major major pressure to get preggo so my kids can know whom I have left. SIGH. Okay, keep on keeping on, everyone!

I still have been extremely tired and nauseous, which I think could be from all the stress I put myself thru this past month. I have no symptoms of AF even coming (no cramps and no spotting like I had last month) and my temps are still really high. Last month my temps had already started to drop. That's why I convinced myself to test. I feel like my chart still looks good.

Could you guys look at my chart and tell me what you think?

I think if your temps are still high then your chances are still good. Especially if you are still nauseous and tired....good signs I know it's frustrating! Good luck!

My ND told me that ovulation can happen anywhere from 12-48 hrs after the LH surge (dark line intensity matching on test strip)
