Hi everyone!

Well I thought I ovulated on CD 17, but it looks like I am ovulating TODAY. I just happened to pee on a stick for my CBFM this morning, and I got a "Peak" reading, along with a bunch of EWCM!! I took a digital CB easy OPK this afternoon, to confirm, and I got a smiley face. Yeehaw! I am excited because I didn't think I was going to ovulate this cycle.


GL everyone!! Glad I am finally back in the TWW, after not ovulating last cycle. Babydust to all, we deserve a BFP!!!

Hey, same thing happened to me! I guess we're still TWW buddies. lol. Today is ovulation day for me. My temps dropped again and the EWCM is back. I tried to get DH to BD this morning, but he turned me down because he was too sleepy...but he's promised to make up for it tonight...well, after the basketball is off. But I hope today is really the day.

Great news Ella! I got another "Peak" reading on my CBFM this morning, and my temp went up from 97.71 to 97.99 so I am thinking I already ovulated. Yeehaw!! I am glad we are buddies together!!

I know, when I got the Peak reading yesterday morning, I was like, OMG, we need to do it, and I asked DH if he was ready to go, he really didn't want to, because his back was sore, but he said ok, and of course we had a good time. The things we do to make a baby, right?

Oh and a question for you and the rest of the ladies...how long does it take sperm to get to the fallopian tubes after you BD? Like if I ovulated this morning, and we had sex at like 4pm, would they make it up "there" in time? Or would that be too late?

GL ladies! So excited I am back in the TWW!

I read an article that said it can take anywhere from 1 hour to 12 hours for sperm to reach the egg in the fallopian tube (the slow ones take 12 hours). They'll also lie in wait for up to 5 days. So if you ovulated at 8am and had sex at 4pm, most of the sperm would definitely make it up there in time! Even if you had a very short egg life span (i.e., 12 hours), at least half of the sperm would be there in time!

Been stuck in a limbo is so frustrating. I'm 3dpo BD on O day......hoping for a BFP.....symptoms? EWCM on CDs 13, 14 and 15, Bd 3am on the CD15, slight cramping today, 3dpo (has stopped). Any one with these symptoms too?....baby dust to everyone

I'm on 12DPO and CD30; I usually have a 32 day cycle.We Bd on O and the day after O. 3 months ago i had a MS at 8 weeks followed by a LLETZ procedure and the 2 months before that i had 2 biochemical pregnancies in a row. I tested this morning at 6am on a FRER Test and was Neg, tested again at 11am and there was the faintest line... i don't even know if you can call it that, it's so very hard to see. I tested yesterday too (couldn't wait) and got a BFN.

The last few days I've felt bloated and crampy similiar to AF coming. No other symptoms, have charted temps and they have stayed high but not risen just continued to stay between .1 degree up and down.


I should also say i have a DD she's 22months old - so i know i can do this.

AFM - Not sure I ovulated just yet....stupid long cycle. I'm not sure what's going on at all. Maybe I was too stressed or something and delayed it again...but now I'm stressed about not ovulating and that can't be good for ov either. But I have had ov pains yesterday and today, so maybe today is the day...Oh well, I suppose that means that DH and I will just have to keep BDing and see what happens in a few days. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!

Hey Ella,

Keep in mind that m/c can really throw things off. Your body can also just try to change itself in one cycle. I was 28 days for YEARS, then had two 30 day cycles, then a 34 day cycle, then two BFP cycles in a row. It can be crazy!

Sounds like today is your ovulation day! Get that hubby into bed!

I'm currently 5dpo and had a sudden dip in BBT this morning. I threw up yesterday which is strange as I know it's way to early for anything like that. But today I'm feeling dull cramps in lower stomach and very tingly sore breasts.
Really hoping for a this cycle as it's been one year from my m/c and we have still no luck
Has anyone experienced these signs at 5dpo and been pregnant or am I having imaginary symptoms??
Any thoughts would be great!

Hi ladies! TWW is do nerve wracking! I was wondering if anyone on here knows (or puts much faith in) cervical position and early pregnancy. I seem to get mixed info online. Was wondering because I know that the cervix gets low and hard at ovulation but then goes higher soon after. During BDing this weekend I experienced a lot of deep pain like there was no room (sorry for TMI). The only time I have ever felt pain like that before was when I was pregnant with my DS but I don't remember how far along I was when that happened. I would think if AF was coming (due the 24th or 25th) that it would no longer be low. I also seem to be extra hungry often and sensitive to smells. Not sure if it's all in my head or now. I do know that the pain sure was not in my head. I also seem to have ewcm again today and yesterday which is odd since I o'd on the 6th or 7th. Any thoughts??

I've been reading the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and it says that your cervical position changes from low to high as you get closer to ovulation. So, when you are ovulating (fertile) your cervix is high, soft and open to let all the sperm in. When you're infertile or in your tww after ovulation, it goes low, firm and closed. Just before your most fertile time, the cervix is medium, medium soft, and mid-way open. I also read that the pregnant cervix is low, soft but with a firmness underneath, and if you could look at it directly (if you had a speculum) it may look blue, due to all the extra blood flow to your uterus for the new baby. When AF is about to come for me, I notice that my cervix opens slightly and gets a little soft but is still low. I hope this helps

I've always just charted temps and don't know anything about cervical position etc... but i can say (TMI warning) i get that feeling of "there's no room" as well sometimes...



Thank you for the welcome all. I still feel like AF is about to arrive, sort of crampy etc. I didn'y have any dips in temp after O mine have stayed at 36.8 and 36.9 every day since O, O was36.0 and am now on 13DPO

Hmmmm - I thought it was CD13, too a few days back, but perhaps it was CD17 (yesterday) since you got another dip & temps just need to climb a little more? You don't do OPKs right? Well, hope you get your crosshairs soon!!!! I'm just "lurking" these days, but I'll check back on you real soon

Only CD4 and trying not to pin too much on this month - but I would love a christmas baby. Otherwise I would really like to fall april or may then to have january or february babies. I really will be down if I don't fall by may 2012 as I will be 35 in march 2013 so this is my goal!

I am with you, except I turn 35 next Saturday. When we finally catch our eggy I will be classed as an older mum.
I am temping everyday and will start opks in a couple of days. I am determined!!

T2BC & Gemmy - Awww, don't let the big 3-5 scare you ladies. It's just a number & you are STILL YOUNG, so don't freak out! I'm 39 but feel & even look (I'm told) 29, so don't sweat it. "35 is the NEW 25", didn't you hear? Oh yes, it's official


Btw, I think I am just 1 day behind you ladies... The has left the building. 1 more week before the BDing begins! I have to start later than CD9 this cycle since I don't ov til CD19 or so. I'm wearing DH out by CD16 so we are like barely crawling, all beat up, tired & dreading another BD session by the time we get to the day that actually (FINALLY) counts!

And "my girl" hurts by then too! Really - I got a UTI last cycle that JUST went away Gosh, man, the crap we do to ourselves...

Oh, I hope its today! Btw, did you ever try those wondfo OPKs (was stalking your journal). They are on Amazon for under $14 (incl shipping) for like 50 of them? I am not sure what country you are in though (just caught a post that you are across the pond).

Yeah, you may have delayed ov due to recent mc (sorry to hear about that ) &/or if you are starting to advance in age?

Seems like only when I started TTC last year, my body decided to have 5-week cycles & ov on CD19. It was also after a mc, but if mine was due to mc, it would have leveled out for sure by now - its about a year since the mc. So, for me, I thinks its the "advanced age" part...

Thanks trying2becalm, 2ww are always the longest days of my life! So sorry for your loss I was very naive in thinking after our m/c we would get pg again a few months after but now it has been 1 year and 16 days
GP said there are no problems and advised us to chart my BBT and this is our second cycle with charting. It definitely gives me a better insight to my body and what's happening!
I'm currently 6 dpo and these were my temps:
1 DPO - 36.11
2 DPO - 35.98
3 DPO - 36.10
4 DPO - 36.13
5 DPO - 35.92 (dip)
6 DPO - 36.16(today)
Still feeling cramps today and really bad headache. Got up to pee twice during the night and have definitely been peeing more often today. Deep down I know its way too early for these to be signs but I can't help being excited and hopeful! I mean...it has to happen sometime...right?

hi ladies just popping in quick as breaking from packing. been catching up and send lots of baby dust. just thought it was strange i am only cd7 - af left on cd4/5. noticed in the shower when washing i had loads and loads of thick stretching between fingers cm - loads! way more than last ov which was cd19 last month. is this normal?? i can't possibly be ovulating. plus my af had some gloopy cm this month which is unusual for me. is my body just clearing out? starting opks on cd11 i think. only have six digi dont want to waste x
