Ali- your bear tales make me laugh! Reminds me of when I lived in rural Alaska. Crazy bears! I had one charge me and had to, um, send him to happier hunting grounds (sorry ladies) but he had it coming! I don't like being stalked for weeks by one crazy bear- they said they thought he had something wrong to act that way. Hmm. Buts tealing garbage cans sounds totally normal And oyu got attacked by a racoon? Crazy! lol

Yep.. the bears know when it is garbage day, and the night before they come lumbering down the road and attack all the bear bins. Last week he opened ours up (just like we would) took the garbage and it was strewn across the road. Now you say.. why can a bear open a bear bin? Aren't they made to keep bears out? Yes, but the latch wasn't working! We have since fixed that. Before we take it down to the road, we keep the recycling and garbage in the giant recycle bin on the porch with bungie cords keeping the lid on it. Well yes, the bear came right up on the porch, and my Mom and I heard the thud as he backed it down the stairs and took off! Well we saw him about 2 feet off the porch struggling to get it open! He was HUGE too! 6 ft tall and about 3 ft wide. Eventually he gave up and took off.

We have beavers stealing our trees, they chop them down, nibble them to get rid of the bark, and then slither into the water and take them to their dam.

The raccoon likes to come and bang on the porch door, its like he wants in, and yes that is exactly what he wants! To come in and eat our food. It is so bizarre that he knocks though. Only thing I can think of is that by knocking he's hoping to spring the screen door out far enough to get his hand in there and wrench it open!

It is definitely interesting living up here! Being apart of the wilderness!!

angel its so calming when you talk bout mc as you really do make me feel calmer.
ok am i being dim about asprin should i take it now or not

Part of my treatment plan is baby aspirin starting from embryo transfer. I trust my RE and think it is the best for me so I don't think there is anything wrong with doing it.

K, on the aspirin...This is odd because I always heard it could cause Reyes Syndrome?? Do you stop taking it after bfp, or...?

YES! Let's hope that August is our month!!! You need to go get more sticks! I don't have any either, or hpt's and they are so expensive here in Canada, the FRER's are $20 for 2, I think I pay $13 for 3 in the US. The dollar store has both ovulation and pregnancy tests for $1.25 each (single tests) so I think I will use those and when I think it is positive I'll double check with the 2 CBE happy faces. The FS wants to monitor my follicles and trigger me so I may not need to use the OPKs at all.

Jess - what was your temp this morning?

Coy - how did you make out last night? I think aspirin can cause Reyes Syndrome if you give it to children, but I'm not sure that applies if they are still in utero? IDK. When I head down to see the FS in a few days I'll ask her.

Kelly - did your FS say why she doesn't want you taking it (aspirin)?

AFM - I'm on CD32, and for the past 2 months I've gotten my period on CD33 (which turns into CD1). I was hoping she would come early and I could start moving forward. Doesn't look like that is going to happen!

It is a dreary day here, which is perfectly fine with me! I am happy that it has been raining as we need the rain. My Mom was saying that there are 3 forest fires burning just north and east of me, so this rain is much needed!

I have been looking at the calendar and if tomorrow is CD1 then August 10th is CD15 and August 11th is CD16, and I can leave on August 12th and still get back to FL by the 13th. It will be 1 day later than I had originally planned, but I think that will work!

So now I'm just doing the dance and hoping AF gets here sometime today or tomorrow!

Oh well, still praying for my BFP ...I plan on testing next Saturday or Sunday...

HEHE.. we were responding at the same time! See my post above for what is going on with me. As for you, I'm not sure why your chart doesn't have the crosshairs on it. This past month was the first month I used FF for the entire month and it did the crosshairs thing. You might need to wait another day? I know you can override their ovulation setting and set it yourself somehow. I guess I'd just give it one more day and if it doesn't set it for you, then you can do it yourself!

Hey again.. so I was just looking at FF, and you can search for charts like yours! I would suggest doing that, then you can see others that have lower temps, and see the results of their tries!

Thanks, Ali! I did that most of the day yesterday! You can even break it down further to see the ones that got pregnant...(which is what I did!)

Kelly- nope- I avoid aspirin like the plague when prego or breastfeeding just to stay on the safe side

Jess- I think the lack of crosshairs is because 1) you just started temping so ff doesn't "know" you yet, and 2) maybe missed a few temps? Anyway, I think you are good, do you keep track of cm? If it disappears then you ovulated BTW- I will absolutely keep in touch after birth! You ladies are my gang! Re: having more kids. I am totally up for it if God and dh agree with me Dh and I actually talked about it last night and agree if God wants us to have more children then it will happen. As I am getting older no bc for me after this one, just see what happens

AFM- tail bone is feeling better today It still hurts to sit but not as bad and I can bend over without excruciating pain. But last night I stretched a lot before bed and also after laying down Augusta did these goofy little sommersaults that had me laughing out loud. Woke dh up lol. Anyway, I am wondering if she wa spressing on the nerves down there and when she sommersaulted or flipped maybe moved off them? I sure as heck hope so! Anyway had a miserable night but other than being tired I feel physically better today.

We have a doctors appointment today in a few hours. I talked to dh about the bee-otch assistant He said "Oh yeah, she has a hang up on me, that is why she is mean to you" I didn't think he knew, but I guess he did . That is why he ignores her so much when we go in there lol I will see if I gained a ton or what this time and hear the hb, and maybe get a measurement? Not sure.......

Oh, my weight control plan now heavily onvolves growing children. They are both going through growth spurts so I fix their breakfast, hurry and fix mine, at which point they are done and come eat off my plate Bound to lose a few calories that way!

That is too cute that your girls come and pick off of your plate! I guess they are hungry and want a little more Just make sure that you are getting enough for you and Augusta!!

I hope all goes well at the Dr's and the stupid assistant is off sick or something. If not you should get your DH to hang all over you in her presence, so she can glare at you with envy TEEHEE, I think that would be funny. I hope you get to hear the heartbeat and get an idea of how big she is getting, so exciting

Hi Coy!! I'm so glad you will still be with us even after you have the baby! It is kind of nice sharing stuff with others that are in similar situations...and you are a wealth of information!!

I feel the same as you do regarding BC.I will never be on BC again...thank goodness!

So, little Augusta is already "getting on your nerves," huh? That is not supposed to happen until she is at least 2!! I'm glad your tailbone is a bit better. I can't wait to hear about your visit to the doctor today. Your DH is a smart one! And the way you typed out "bee-otch" reminded me of the movie "13 Going on 30" with Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. Have you seen it? It's a good one!

So, I have managed to not think about whether I am pregnant or not for about an hour today...I am totally consumed with it! I keep looking at other charts on FF...wondering if I will have any symptoms...I am making myself crazy! I look forward to the gym because I KNOW I wont think about it in there!! When I am in there all I think about is finishing and taking a ! I did cut my mid-day run out until the TWW is over. It is extremely hot outside and I don't want to take any chances...so I do my 5am cardio on the spin bike and my late afternoon weight workout...
