Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Hope you O soon, gld you have the opk's for it...Yes, the FR regular two-liners worked awesome, it's the fr digi that I felt cheated with :( lol.

AFM- I home-cooked cooked this awesome roast beef for dinner with potatoes and carrots and gravy....slow cooked it in the oven for 4 hours! I was starving! Then I dug in, took about 5 awesome bites and was STUFFED. WTH? :haha: That's no fair! :haha: I really was looking forward to at least seocnds on that but I guess when your stuff gets all pushed around it's your tummy space that suffers lol. Now I just feel

That's too bad that you weren't able to eat. I hate that. I do remember that from my pregnancies as well. I never actually threw up but felt queasy a lot. I hope you are able to eat again soon. Do you feel like you are getting bigger already?
Yes I should O around Sunday or so so I thinking we need to bd at least every second day. I would prefer every day but we will see? Will start opk tomorrow. I'll let you know. Hope you feel better today:hugs:

They say that dtd every other day may actually be better...rejuvination and all that :)

I am still  today...worse than yesterday actually, I spent a large amount of time in front of the "throne" last night and today too. So far I can keep down popsicles

I think every women is different every body is different the age doe snot matter women in 50s are giving birth while teens cannot carry a child.

Grey eyes- wow was it like that with your other pregnancies? I never had it that rough I just had a lot of food aversions.
AFM- I know I always get mixed about the bd thing. We will see what happens? I'm trying to be more relaxed about it. I just went to my TCM doctor and she said things were looking much better! I asked her if she thought my body was ready for a pregnancy and she said "yes". We will see!! Hope you're feeling better soon! At least you know that ms is a good sign that all is well!!

Grey eyes- I hope you find something soon to help you feel better. That's so sweet about the dog. When my kids were smaller we walked a lot as well and we would meet an old dog named Sophie every day in front of it's house. Same kind of thing.
AFM- pos opk cd12 and 13 which was yesterday. Thought for sure I o'd yesterday but temp didn't rise so I'm thinking it will be today. I'll keep you posted!

Marathongirl- did you O yet? :happydance: It has been afew days so guess you are in the tww now! :)

AFM- still , terribly fatigued, every possible symptom for weel ten (just started today on week 10). I am taking it easy, aside form repainting the bathroom and spring cleaning lol.

Sorry you are still sick:wacko: wish I could offer some cure. You are painting your bathroom? Don't the fumes make you feel sick? Ahhhh spring cleaning well I'll get to it eventually. I'm not even pregnant and i can't muster up the energy for it:shrug: we are having some really stormy, windy weather so that's my excuse. My kids are on spring break this week and next so doing some fun things:thumbup:
AFM- yes I have o'd I am 4 dpo now so in the tww:flower: trying to stay positive and I'm not ss. I have done so every month only to be disappointed so.....
We definitely bd'd on the right days so we will see. I saw a friend today and she said she thinks this is my month:shrug: she is one of those really intuitive people. Anyways I am praying every day and just being around positive people:flower:
Hope you feel better soon. I can't believe how fast the time is going:hugs::hugs:

Well I ended up painting the bathroom, hallway,a nd the kitchen. Then I laid new tiles on the kitchen floor and called some gize to come install new ceiling fans in the kitchen and bathroom to reduce moisture. I am totally exhausted now!:sleep: Gonna fix a quick dinner and go to bed!
I am glad you are staying positive it can be so tough sometimes. Best thing you can do is exactly what you are doing--bd every chance you get :haha: and go have some fun!

Wow what prompted the renovation? That's a crazy amount of work:wacko: What do your kids do while you are doing all of that work? I guess your older one is in school? My kids are on Spring Break this week and next so it has been a little more hectic with schedules but we always make it work:winkwink:
Yes I have been feeling a bit more relaxed the last few days. I have been laughing a lot with my kids and dh. I don't know why but it feels good:flower: I think I just know deep inside that it will happen when the time is right. I feel that very strongly.
Are you starting to get a bit bigger yet? I can't wait for that:hugs:

Marathongirl-
I knew I wanted to put in new ceiling fans but when I looked at the old paint on the ceiling I wanted to redo it  Still tired today with headaches I can't get rid of  Will try to get to sleep early tonight. The girls were good they played outside for most of it. My oldest is 7 and in 2nd grade but I homeschool. :)

That's great that you can homeschool. I have a good friend in California that does as well. I'm sure all of your hard work has paid off and it looks great

:flower:
AFM- I'm 6 dpo today and feeling tired but good. Staying busy and the time is going by really fast. I'll keep you posted. I have already decided that when I get my BFP I will start the progesterone:thumbup:

Marathongirl-

CD7 today? Yay, not much longer in your tww  Glad you are feeling positive, it is always so much easier that way. And having your other kids around must make it nice, I know mine are a wonderful (sometimes) distraction lol. They can be so fun and so much work at the same time :haha: I like homeschooling- when she started kindergarten they skipped her to 2nd grade because we had already taught her so much :cloud9: but I don't want to skip her anymore, just let her enjoy her schooling.

AFM- tired today. I slept 10 hours last night (intermittent of course) and still woke up feeling tired  All part of firt tri I guess, I do remember it from my others. And vomiting acid last night was no fun :nope: but also part of the territory. I am thinking of trying the vitamin B6 and ginger to see if it helps. We had such wonderful weather the last few days and today got snow  I am soooo ready for summer! The girls and I went leprechaun hunting yesterday and they had a blast...I always telll them to watch for leprechauns stopping to tie their shoes then grab them lol. Sometimes I'll put like a little boot or something in a bush for them to find and tell them they "almost got him" :haha: They have so much fun. They "found" little tiny lunch pails filled with chocolate coins and some regular coins out in the bushes yesterday. Made their day :cloud9: Then we made potato and ham soup (which made me sick ) and shamrock cookies. Ahh, youth :)
Sounds like a very fun day!! I remember those days with my kids so sweet. We still have sweet moments but Dd is 9 going on 16 and Ds is still very sweet but Mr. Jock do I am constantly in my car driving him to sports. Right now I am on the ferry coming back from Vancouver where he had a hockey tournament all weekend. It's boring for Dd but she plays as well and has her tournament next weekend. I find it so rewarding watching them play or participate in something they love to do.
AFM- yes 7dpo and have been feeling like I am dragging since Friday:shrug: I can't believe how tired I feel. I am not going to ss I am just going to wait it out:wacko: I will keep you posted

Marathongirl-

I checked out your chart- this is a nice steady temp you have going so far! What was it this morning? Compared to your other two charts this is the longest high temp for a while  Got my fx'd for you!

Thanks!! I'm hoping this is my month too:flower: today it was up a bit again 98.2:shrug:. My dh is sooo cute he asks me every morning after I take my temp what it is? I try to tell him that it would be hard to tell from your temps alone if you were preggo or not but he doesn't really get it. Sometimes I think the less they know the better:shrug: as long as they are ready when we need them to be. I think if I told him everything it would just make him more anxious about TTC. I. I might as well be the only anxious one! Lol:wacko:
How are you feeling today?

How are you feeling today?

LOL- I think you are right! My dh- when I would tell him "honey get ready for business I am ovulating today" he'd mumble an affirmative and wander off...Finally I got hold of him and said sternly "do you understand? Don't you know how little time ovulation affords?" He was stunned- he didn't know we are talking 12-24 hours...he thought when I began to ovulate it was a period of oohhh, two weeks or so :dohh: lol. So in some cases it is good to tell them the really important stuff- like timing :haha: But the other stuff - I think you are right.

AFM- I am feeling okay today, no major vomiting the last day and a half - phew! It comes and goes. I am trying to stick to plain food. Cold baked chicken on plain wheat bread for a snadwich seems to work okay  and plain water. No soda's- the carbonation is a killer for me for some reason :nope: I have had this huge urge for chocolate though. Trying to ignore it :winkwink:

You are sooo right. I definitely give dh the "heads up" when it is time but the rest of it he's better off not knowing:winkwink:
Glad you're feeling ok today. I would go for the chocolate if I were you in small amounts. It can't hurt you at this point other than it's not packed with nutrients. You might feel better:shrug: who knows. I know when I was preggo the last time I started eating dairy products because I craved them like crazy. Normally I don't eat anything dairy but my acupuncturist said to eat what my body was telling me to eat,in moderation of course:wacko:
I will keep you posted:hugs::hugs:

Marathongirl-

Your chart is looking aweosme so far! Nice steady climb in temps is a great sign! (drumming my fingers). Have you decided when you might check for bfp? You are 10 dpo today, right? I was 10 dpo when I got my bfp on FRER but I know cycles can change the day (at least it makes sense that they would ) I am excited! Keep me posted :flower:

AFM- I have actually felt pretty good the last couple of days which kinda has me worried but I am trying to enjoy it too...I haven't vomited today is the 2nd day, so - phew! And I have been able to eat which is nice. I called my doc just to ask about that now am waiting for a response. I am still tired though, and sore bb's, etc.
Glad you are feeling better:thumbup: It's always the way with us eh? Worrried when we are sick and then wondering why we aren't and worried about it:shrug: I'm sure everything is fine but if you would feel better you could always get another us done. They said they would do one whenever you wanted right?

AFM- yes 10dpo and have been feeling really tired for the past 3 days or so. Sore bbs and really hungry. Trying not to read too much into it as I have had those symptoms before af as well:shrug: I think I will test on Sat if af doesn't arrive before then. My lp was 12 days last cycle so we will see? I will let you know either way:hugs::hugs: Take care of yourself
