Thanks, I hope you are feeling more relaxed this time around- it is hard to be relaxed but always makes the tww more pleasant!
Oh, btw I got a call from my doc that said they had an opening to see me today (he apparently cleared his schedule for a trip out of town then his plans crashed so he is in the office twiddling his thumbs ) so I went in today. They got baby's heartbeat almost immediately at 150-160 bpm! I feel so much better about it all now. My next appointment is still scheduled for april 11th. Dh and I and the girls will all go to that one
Boy I sure wasn't in tune with my body with my first dd:blush! I was soooo sick. Dh and I had driven several hundred miles to visit family (yeah, terrible trip ) And I was so sick I couldn't eat or drink anything except corn nuts All the drive home poor dh kept having to pull over so I could get Anyway after several weeks of this we finally realized I was prego Should have occurred to me sooner but it was my first (successful) pregnancy.
Btw I was a little miffed at the assistant at my doctors office. She made the comment "I am glad you decided to go ahead and come in today- I mean, givem your track record" Yeah that's right lady- reassure me!
Yep, I feel okay today- got a lump in my throat as usual- acid maybe? But no throwing up lately, doc told me it is natural for nausea to wane at this point but not to be surprised if it shows up occassionaly.
How are you feeling? I have been stressed out- I have been embroiled in a three year long court battle and next week it finally comes to a head. I have a 5 a.m. 120 mile drive then sit in talks, hearings, and judge interviews from 8 a.m. to about 6 p.m. or so then another 120 mile drive home. I'm going to be poooooped
Marathongirl- I was just checking out your chart- I notice your temp dropped a bit...at this point it could be an implantation dip. Have you ever had implantation dips before? I think the timing is right but won't know for sure until tomorrow or netx day right? How are you feeling?
AFM- windy but warm here today. I have been working somome basic manintenance on my car and have a few more parts to install. I can't believe the power surge I have now! It's awesome!:thumbup. Anyway, I haven't had to actually vomit for like 3-4 days now. Still get icky feelings but I have been able to eat so that's been nice.
I am actively on this forum and am 42.5 so a year older. I have been trying since last May and have had 2 chemical pregnancies and a mc at 12 weeks. I have now had 3 cycles with nothing but am feeling hopeful. There are a lot of women including myself that take coQ10 for egg quality and also royal jelly. I take 600mg of the coQ10 a day. I am also a huge believer in Traditional Chinese Medecine and have been taking herbs for the last month. I have done a lot of reading and there is a lot of anectdotal evidence that it works. You need to see someone who it trained to diagnose your specific defiencey and it will make a huge difference. Good luckNote sure which is the best and more active forums, I posted this on another thread so apologies upfront for the double post, but just to get started -
I'm 41.5, DH is 53. Never pregnant. Never drink or smoke, eat very healthily and at optimum weight. I do light exercise daily. DH's mobility, etc. counts are moderate to good.
After undergoing FSH a year and a half ago, the fallopian tubes were clear, and had to have a polyp removed.
Then proceeded with 3 IUIs, then 3 IVFs. The third IVF last week was unsuccessful. We're devastated.
The first IVF no mature eggs were recovered, so there was no attempt at fertilization; the second IVF there were two mature eggs, one fertilized, it was transferred back, but it didn't take; this third IVF of 13 eggs retrieved only 2 were mature and neither fertilized.
So....am desperately looking for ways to improve egg quality.
The doctor said further IVFs would be to only play on hope. He said there were other, alternative 'unproven' methods we could consider. He mentioned Human Growth Hormone, and DHEA.
Is anyone here going through any 'alternative' or other such treatment?

Welcome! This is an awesome thread! Glad to have you on board I personally have not performed any of the cycles you mentioned...clomid years ago and progesterone this time around. I am 36 (in a few weeks). Since you seem to have good eggs in there have you ever thought to have the sperm checked? My dh had cancer years ago and went throguh the whole SA deal but not recently. Could it be an issue?

marathongirl- how are you today? I am tired- had a super long day in court yesterday, alot of back and forth who-hah stuff and a long drive home. Hoping for a good rest tonight. Getting ready for trial now....if I can just get my mind to rest would be awesome! I kept going over deliberations and interrogatories and depositions in my dreams so didn't rest too well Today was trying too (neighbors- ugh!) but will tell ya all about it tomorrow Thinking of you friend!
