Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

In Barbados I had alot more appetite. We went to one of those Brazilian all you can eat buffets where they serve lots of meats. I avoided meat while I was ttcing but I ate more than dh and my dad :haha: They didnt make much money with me that night I don't think :haha: Even when the others were done and they were clearing plates I told them I wasn't done. I was so hungry all the time. I put on 4 pounds and lost it all back since my return :( I am worried that is not a good sign. Plus I would wake up at 3 am and then 5 am to pee and this morning didn't wake up at all till the alarm went..

WOW.. that is a lot of food! Good for you! I wouldn't worry about the peeing and the eating too much. I think all of that fluxuates a lot in the first weeks of pregnancy. I even heard that it fluxuates into the later weeks too. So just be strong, keep praying and being positive

I bet you just forgot about the ice scraper since you probably never had to use one at 6! LOL, not like your parents would make you go out and scrape the car windows (that you couldn't reach). :haha:

I need to go start preparing dinner because I am feeling sleepy. Enjoy your evening ladies!

Wow ladies you are a chatty bunch tonight:coffee:

Chantal.. boo to your crappy doctor, :happydance: to getting progesterone sorted by other means. I'm on this too, 400mg twice daily and yes you need to take it up to 12-16 weeks. I hope you get some rest xo

Ali... no intralipids or steroids on my protocol. My RMC doesnt believe that I need them for my 'issues' even though they are mainly undiagnosed:shrug:, and he'd better be right as so many people I have got to know on here are getting prescribed steroids in some form due to the NK cell risk. They dont even test for NK cells in my country, madness:growlmad:

Coy... so sorry to read that you are having a bad week, I hope your DH and kiddies get better soon. Cleaning up sick has to be one of the worst jobs EVER!!!!!

Ali... loving the detox menu for Sunday, are your planned delivered meals expensive? The idea is starting to launch here in the UK but it is very pricey.

Phil... I hope you and your beautiful daughter are keeping well :flower:

wow, chatty today ladies!!

Chantal--get used to this "no routine" with food. Anything you can keep down is good :laugh2:

Ali- sounds like you are eating healthy 2day too, I have trouble to remember to eat...this week I have had dinner TWICE total and it felt awesome to eat something hot. Usually I slam a protein shake or yogurt and keep running, lol! Today...well, today I have had toast, coffee, and yogurt :haha: I'll try harder. However! I measured last night, my waist is now 26.5 inches :bodyb: lol....

Aeryn and I are rockin' out to Alice Cooper's "Poison" her favorite song lately--she calms to it instantly

Angel- I am so excited for you  Yay! bfp's everywhere :happydance:

Oh, re:  Yeah, worst job ever :haha: today tho when I handed Kat her medicine she took it reluctantly, eyed me for a suspicious minute then just slammed it back :haha:  Maybe she's getting the idea I have no pity nor mercy  Poor baby girl...

The meals I'm having delivered are made 3x a week, and are delivered M/W/F morning. They are about 400 calories each, and are all gluten free. I figure I spend about $100 a week in groceries, and these meals + delivery are $120 a week. I will still have to go to the grocery store for my yogurt, other snacks and water/drinks. So I'll still have some extra costs, but I'll be eating healthy and that is what counts. So yes, it is pricey, but not hugely so! For example, I went to McDonalds yesterday and got their breakfast meal and an iced mocha.. that was $6.25 and each meal from Deliver Lean is $6.95 so its really not that bad compared to eating out. I just think I need something to kick start my weightloss, and get me back to feeling like myself. I can't seem to get the energy to cook and be good about eating properly, so hopefully this will do it!

When I was a teen I bought all of Alice Cooper's albums lol
Poison is a cool song. So cute that Aeryn loves it :)

Must be hormones but I just found this thread on BnB with a lady with a similar situation to mine. When I got to the update on page 4 I burst into tears! So hoping I have the same outcome!

I checked to see if she went on to have the baby, and she did!!! :happydance:

Yes she had her baby :) There is another lady in that thread called Mummy2Be86 and she was told that she was miscarrying and then they saw the heartbeat. The sono tech who found it said she was 8 weeks while the previous sono tech had told her she was only 5 weeks 6 days! Crazy! Explains why I got 2 different dates from the sonos at the hospital and doctor's office.

Good to know!

Angel how did you tell your dh your wonderful news?

I bet he was amazed!

Hughes syndrome is a blood clotting issue correct? Have you ever had a vein throbbing under your foot? I have had this in my right foot since a few days after I found out I was pregnant. Dh was worried it was thrombosis. Another thing I did differently this month is baby aspirin.

Oh ya.. I couldn't afford to order their food for a family of 4! It's barely affordable for 1! I just need to get moving on my weight loss ASAP, plus the meds I'm taking are killing me weight wise. We'll see how it goes!

Hi guys.. Just checking in for a second. I'm exhausted ER tomorrow. See you tomorrow!

Ali- I am guessing the meds make you gain water-weight though, right? And you seem to lose it fast

Oh this little Aeryn won't give mom 5 minutes! :growlmad: lol! Gotta go ladies! "see ya" tomorrow....where's Jess????

Hello ladies :hi:

Can't wait to hear how everything went Sam!

I had blood drawn this morning. Beta results will hopefully have doubled. Just finishhed eating papaya, strawberries, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. No nausea this morning though and bb's not as swollen or sore, but I did wake up at 4 am with a bursting bladder and crazy vein in my right foot thumping away. I had some light spotting when I wipe. I guess I need to stop freaking out every time I see that. Breathe...
