afm- I have to keep taking the 800 mg ibuprofen. Still get cramps if I go longer than 6 hours without taking it. Coy you said you thought it was the medicine that made me vomit but no. I vomitted like that for several hours when I miscarried naturally. Just how my body reacts to pain.

Glad I was able to make you laugh! It was actually Coy that had me last night when she got confused, thinking I was talking about V playing with his junk during our lunch date. No! I figured I could at least disguise his name, maybe we should give him some exotic name like Vladimir?

Sorry you are still having the after effects, hopefully things will return to normal soon! Have you made your appointment to see the FS about DE yet? Are you going to go back to your original FS? Or try a different one? I think you should try someone else, I got bad vibes from your last one the one that wasn't sure what the issue was and said it was your DH then you etc. I think i saw something about an IVF team affiliated with the univ of Maryland? Maybe try them? Or at least go in for a consult before you choose a FS.

Angel- don't be upset at all hon, if he is one of the best--he's one of the best! And 2 days is nothing to be concerned about as there is always a margin for error on all sides, ovulation, measuring, etc. When I was preggo my measurements were always off a tad on either side: The important thing is the HB Cause to celebrate!

Ali- hm, I wouldn't worry--PA are crap. Period. lol! I think you probably know more about it than she does! When is your mastermind-doctor coming back? I agree I can see you doing your own u/s! lol....ahem ahem who's playing with what junk now? lol! lol.... too funny

AFM- meh. K. Got my lab results back. (drumroll) I have----nothing That's right- nothing. Then the lab tech talked to me for a minute and said - "-wait. What? You were on antibiotic? Aargh! Your doc should know that's going to cancel out any culture test!" He told ,me I'd have to be off antibiotic at least a week to get a clear culture. PA strikes again! I better not get charged for that

HAHAHAHA.. Coy.. you made me laugh out loud at work I'm sure my co-workers think I'm insane! I'm not sure you can do a transvaginal US on your own? Might be kind of awkward? They have big screens on the wall positioned so that us patients can see it too, so yes, I know what to look for! You are probably right I do know more than most PA's, I know more about it than my regular Dr that is for sure! He asks me questions about the IVF process when I go in to see him He and his wife are having troubles, so he is curious to hear how things are going for me.

HMM.. re your PA. Well if the infection was bacterial and it was receptive to what you were taking, then it wouldn't show up on the test. That means whatever you were taking was clearing it up, or you don't have a bacterial issue. So doing the culture did give you some information!! It told you the following:

1) You took the right type of antibiotic
OR
2) Your spots are viral or fungal

So that was helpful, kinda sorta!

AFM - my appt was a little odd.. my FS is off enjoying some trip with his family, so I had to wait for the PA to arrive. Then she did my US and was concerned that I was losing my triple line Then she moved the wand a little and it looked better, at least IMO (since I've literally had like 200 of these in the past 6-8 months). I know I'm not a US tech, but it certainly looked fine to me. Still she was hesitant. It has grown and it is now 8.5mm up from 6.7mm. So I don't know what she was all upset about. I guess they wanted to see it above 9mm? I am pretty sure I haven't O'd yet, so I think its a bit premature for them to be putting me on progesterone anyway. So the FS is going to get a report, and will review where I am currently and we'll go from there. I go back in on Monday unless the FS wants me to go back sooner. Since this is the first trial FET with biopsy, they don't know how he will react, so its all a little uncertain I guess. So I wait until this afternoon for further instructions

Don't be alarmed by the PA, they are usually more anxious esp if the Dr is out and they are taking the load. I can see you doing your own u/s one day all like "I got this!"

I can see you doing your own u/s one day all like "I got this!" At this point I almost feel that way! Course if I do get pregnant it will be a whole new thing, because something will be in there! I know what the uterus should look like, and I know what ovaries should look like, I want to know what a baby looks like!

So last night I was talking with Coy on FB about my date with V, and I was talking about how the US pic of V's baby was cute, but apparently they had trouble seeing that it was a boy because he kept playing with his junk. Well she misread what I was saying and thought I meant that V was playing with his junk during out date! Too funny. Thought I would share.. hope Coy doesn't mind!

Well if the baby was playing with his, maybe the junk doesn't fall far from the tree? Habahahaba

I feel like the follies are stalling, not as much growth from yesterday. They grew a lot from Mon to Wed. I am still waiting on the nurse to call me with my blood results. I am starting to get some creamy cm though. Hmmm

Creamy is good! Yes, I wonder what your blood results show too When they call you can ask if there is anything that you can do to help move them along. Ask the nurse if you can use a heating pad, or if taking baby aspirin would help, or I've even heard that lying on your back with your legs up in the air is helpful too (shifts blood flow into your abdomen which helps get more blood to the ovaries). So see if any of those things are acceptable by your FS. They all have their different quirks about do's and don'ts!!

Hi ladies, thanks for the wishes. Me being me, I have analysed the scan and I'm convinced they measured it wrong. The scan pic below is crap but if you follow the top dark round shadow to where I have put the arrow ths shadow as far as I can tell is the edge of the sac, not to where he has pointed in my opinion. I know he isnt worried but when you have been through 6 losses, which are always triggered by showing I'm behind at scans you worry! Even if it is only a couple of days which is a very common human error, you hear about it all the time throughout pergnancies. My SIL dates shifted by 3 weeks at one stage. But if this helps settle my mind for the next fortnight who cares. I'm not sure if anybody can follow my rambling about the pic?

Ali... your posts gave me a giggle thank you It sounds to me that your PA was feeling under pressure and didnt want to make any mistakes so I would take it with a pinch of salt.


Coy.... at your culture, what dummies. I think we should start a campaign or name and shame crap practices

BabyW - can't wait to hear what they said! I hope he thinks you are doing just fine I had slow follicles too, they needed time to percolate. As long as your estrogen is rising and your LH isn't getting too high, you are right on track! Ask them what they think, heating pads do help, and they do feel good! In fact I think I will use one this weekend myself

Angel - I am glad I could help you out in the laughing department! Everyone needs to be happy and laugh more It is good for the soul!!!

I examined your US and I agree with you!!! So I think they are wrong and you are probably right on track or maybe a little ahead? Either way, don't sweat it right now. Everything looks great today, and you are on a roll. I say roll with the happiness, and keep thinking positively.

I commented on everyone else but forgot to comment on ME!

I got the call from my FS, and yep.. he wants me to add another patch today.
I'm getting to the point where there isn't any free space left on my belly! My belly is bigger than it should be but they say not to put the patch in the same place twice I'm now up to 4 patches. They have to be on your abdomen. So I wish I knew where to put them? Plus the skin takes about 6 days to recover from the adhesive. So funny Me and all these red splotches on my belly and squeezing in a 4th patch somewhere.

Off to my acupuncture appointment soon, then tomorrow I'm working the late shift so I'll be at home. I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow!!!

Yeah a scan of the little bean!! It looks great!

Don't worry, stress is not good for you or the baby. I watched my Dr measure the follicles and even he was not accurate then. All will be great at your next scan and the margins will be clear and easy to measure. Rest easy babe, all will be great.

Nurse called, there are 4 follies, 15.5, 15, 14.5 and 10. E2 went from 247 yesterday to 322 today, LH went from 2.4 to 2.6. I am to stay on 75 units, go back tomorrow for u/s and bw. IUI might be Sun/Mon depending on how they grow by tomorrow. I went for acupuncture so hopefully that will help circulation.Acupuncturist told me to rest as much as possible, so I'm home and relaxing as we had a half day at work.

Totally normal to sleep.. The meds cause fatigue. It's the progesterone I think that causes it. Go with it, and rest up this weekend!
