BabyWhisperer - You had 2 great BETA's there is no reason to feel that you are going to get AF. I have heard it is normal to have some cramping and even some spotting in the first weeks. So just try to relax and enjoy the energy you have while you can. Most women say they are exhausted and nauseous in the first trimester, so here is hoping that you have an easy go of it!!
If you are really worried you can always call on Monday and request another BETA, see if they'll let you come in. Can't hurt to ask
I know I probably would
I think if I'm successful this time I'm going to need to buy stock in First Response!
because I'm literally going to be POAS daily.
Sams - Do what you feel is right in your gut, but if you want my opinion, here it is. When you had your last IVF, they probably used all of your antral follicles up. An egg takes 3 months to mature, starting from before it is an antral follicle until it becomes a mature egg. So the theory is that if you do IVF cycles every 2-3 months you should have your egg reserve back to normal. Plus you are taking herbs and teas and supplements that are meant to improve your antral follicle count. When they do the baseline at the beginning of your cycle they do this count. If you only have 2-3 antral follicles then you will at most only have 2-3 follicles grow. So waiting 2-3 months and continuing on the regmine you are on with your Asian medicine man is probably your best bet. Then do a cycle in say May/Jun/July.
Coy where on earth are you??
We miss you!!! How are you doing? Everything go well yesterday?
AFM Sams, really? Panic attacks are related to hormones? I haven't had one since 2009 so they don't happen often. The good news is that I didn't smoke a cigarette
I managed to get to work too.. YAY.
I did get some resolution on the HOA thing. It turns out that someone wanted to put a fence like mine along the sidewalk and they were told they couldn't. Well those neighbors raised a stink because mine is that way
So that is why I got a letter stating that if I couldn't provide documentation on it, that they were going to make me move mine. When I talked to the property manager he basically said that he thought it was ludicrous, but since the other homeowner was making a stink they had to go through the motions. He said it would be up to the board to make the decision and he felt that they wouldn't care. So I went rooting through my file cabinet and I found the approval of my fence!
It was signed by the HOA at the time (the builder). So I am going to scan and email that to the property manager and politely tell him and the board to STFU (shut the F up)
So that is all settled now
My mom helped me get 2 of my 4 bedrooms prepped for the hardwoods, and I'd already done 1, so now all that is left is my master bedroom and a few under the bed storage lugs. So I'll do that tomorrow. After we did the moving of stuff, we went out for lunch on the intercoastal for seafood and then had a pedicure. Now we're having a torrential rain fall and I hope my Mom can see her way home.
I'm off shortly to get a few things for our Bunco tonight, and I think I might run to the mall to pick up the clothes I ordered. May as well get that done on my way!! Then I don't have to go out at all tomorrow.
I can complete the picking up of my bedroom and get everything prepped for the installers. The issue is that I can't have anything on the floor (no shoes, or clothes hanging low), plus all the books have to be off book shelves and kick nacks have to be put away so they don't get broken. I'd taken over my spare bathroom and am piling everything in there, as opposed to carting it all down stairs.
Oh well, I'd say I'm about 60% done.
On the FET front.. nothing new.. I updated my signature with the latest news. Still waiting for the results of the biopsy but I've been told we'll get those this week. AF has been really bad this month, I'm still bleeding and its been 4 days! Like really bleeding. Usually by now it is pretty much gone. I'm also still having cramping and my uterus feels sore. So hopefully that is my uterus shedding properly and getting ready to build a nice receptive lining!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday!
