So ladies, I had a sonohysterogram on CD10. I'm on CD 24 and am having some spotting. It's pinkish brown and very light. This is pretty early for me to have AF. Plus I don't think I Ov'd until day 13 so this would be very early for AF. I've never had a luteal less than 14 days.

Could this be implantation bleeding?? I have not been charting my temps at all but I have noted my signs on my chart. Also, does anyone know if a sonohysterogram increases the chances of implantation bleeding? I know it increases the chances of pregnancy but I have never had implantation bleeding before so I don't know if this is it or not...

Nice to hear from you! I have never had implantation bleeding but I do know that it typically happens around 8-12 DPO which is about what you are now?
It is entirely possible!

Another question...I have to do the 3 day blood test this cycle which puts me on Sunday...Mothers Day! Ugh. Is Quest even open on Sundays?? I guess I will find out...

My FS said I can do the test on day 2-4. Where I am, there are a few Quest labs open on Saturday, but not all. You have to go online and see which ones are open on Saturday. Or you can wait until Monday. Also, I wouldn't count today as day 1, they always tell me to count the first full day of flow as day 1. So since you started so late today, I would pick tomorrow as day 1, then you could get it done Sunday-Tuesday (unless you think it is turning heavy, then you could count today as day 1).

Also, he said he was recommending clomid...Give me all the dirt you have on clomid...the good, the bad, and the ugly...

Day 3 bloods: LH, FSH, E2, P4, AMH, etc. They just want to see where your hormone levels are. To make sure that everything is where it should be. Elevated FSH, or not having your LH and FSH be about equal I think can mean you might have issues getting pregnant. AMH tells you what your ovarian reserve might be.

I'm not a fan of clomid. It can cause some pretty intense moodiness for the 5 days you are on it. Luckily it only lasts those 5 days! It also increases your odds of twins (not always a bad thing). The thing that bothers me about it is that your lining takes a beating when taking clomid. Ask him about Femara, it does the same thing as clomid, but without the side effects and no lining issues! Oh and for some reason it doesn't have as great of an incidence of twins.

today after I got out of the shower I noticed alot of bright blue veins across my chest. Last time this happened was over 18 years ago when I was pregnant with my son! Trying not to get my hopes up yet. I haven't bought a test yet cause if I do I know I will test too early lol. And no sings of AF yet either- Still have really sore bb and sometimes more of a pulling feeling then cramps .. Until really recently my AF was not normal.. never on time ect. the last few months since been put on Metformin for PCOS and thyroid meds for hypo I have been getting close to normal AF- feb 2nd, march 11th and april 14th. I think I O'd may 3rd. I took opk test but it was just to see what my body was doing not so much trying hard to conceive- I didnt think my AF had been regular enough to try.. so I cant 100% remember the date I got the positive opt. I've also been having heart burn.. I get that from time to time to begin with but this has been on and off for a few days in a row. I try so hard not to think about it but it's been all I can think about! Oh and the emotions are starting to go nuts! I read something on line tat wasn't even emotional and I started to cry- Either this is gonna be one hell of an AF or Im pregnant lol

Hi SAMs! I know how you are feeling, IVF wears you out! It creeps up on you and suddenly you feel ancient, and tired. Believe me I know!

The past week has been especially horrid, between the IVIg and then my liver crapping out. I knew it was unhappy and got the lab results on Friday. Dr said my liver enzymes are slightly elevated. I'm thinking my liver was upset from the constant use of fioricet, then the IVIg was the kicker. I'm feeling a lot better now, the pain in my abdomen is gone and I'm able to eat again. So I think all will be fine. Still.. crappy week!

On the good news front, my transfer is on Wednesday so only a few more days! YAY! Here is hoping that my liver is back in action by then! No alcohol, no fioricet (or Tylenol), drinking plenty of fluids, and using milk thistle, pineapple and berries to help flush out my liver. The pineapple is also good for implantation, so it's a win win!

I hope you figure out what your plan is and are successful SAMs!

Today was great! I put the I Love My Grandma baby onesie in an Hermes scarf box so she thought she was getting a scarf. When she opened the box and saw the onesie she was in shock, like mouth gaping open and look of confusion. I video taped on the iPhone and she looked at me and I said, I'm pregnant! She started to cry got up and hugged me and dh. My Dad got teary and so did my brother. It was such an amazing day. The we got new my dh's brother got engaged to his gf of 8yrs!! They got engaged around the same time we got prego but hadn't told anyone but the parents. What a weekend! We told the in-laws on Sat and they cried too. My Mom wants to start telling people but I asked her to wait until I am 10-11 weeks when she goes down to TN with my aunts and Grand ma to see my cousins new baby.
I'm still nervous bc it's early. I plan on calling my bff's ob this week since mine doesn't take insurance and the cost of appointments and delivery will be astronomical.

How was everyone's Mother's Day??

Coy, Mandarin is very very hard and unless you use it you will lose it. Spanish i this country's 2nd language so it's very useful especially for jobs. There are more Spanish speaking countries than mandarin. How is dh and the dd's? Any more baby teeth?

BabyWhisperer.. such a beautiful story of your Mother's Day! From the sounds of it your family has had a fantastic weekend! I'm sure that everything will be fine with you and your bean! So you are switching OB's? I guess that means you don't know when your next appt is. I hope it's soon!

AFM.. busy day trying to get ready for my FET on Wednesday. Then I'm off work until the following Monday yay! I heard from Vladimir and he's going to be here for Memorial Day and a few extra days, so we'll have a few days to hang out together!

I feel a lot better! It is amazing how much better I feel! I will be going to bed early tonight so I am fresh for the week ahead.

It has been quite an experience since the misscarriage last week. So yesterday I thought I would get the surge. That didnt happen, but I had light spotting. Today I have no spotting and still no surge. I have ewcm though. I think the days are just off. I started bleeding on April 30 but I I think it was late on 5/1 or early 5/2 when i misscarried. So I really dont know when to start counting. I counted cd1 as April 30. But now I dont know....anyway I am waiting for the surge cuz we have $700 of sperm waiting in the spare room to be inseminated.

BTW.. a childhood friend and her partner just had a baby (using a gestational surrogate). He is the sweetest little boy. My heart swells when I think about them! He is going to be one lucky boy to have 2 awesome moms!

Ali- I considered Mandarin but then as I researched it I found it is used almost exclusively in Hong Kong! Odd...anyway I thought given I am working in criminal Justice my focus will be in juvenile/probations, etc, so maybe I could use the Spanish I am getting excited- we are looking at day-after-tomorrow for FET correct? The actual transfer lol, I can't wait. Agonizing next 2 weeks!

JandK- yes, sometimes MC throws your cycle a bit but I think you'll get your surge soon so keep watch for it........also, how long does stay, um, good? Do you keep it refrigerated or something?

AFM- Got my team assignment done last night, working with some real winners on this team One is super picky and "shouts" online at us all the time She's like "I can't believe you haven't learned this yet!!!!!!! Didn't your other instructors say anything?!!!!!!! Do it my way!!!!! I don't like what you've done!!!!!! " LOL LOL Ahhh so I am looking forward to the end of this course. Plus my instructor isn't much help, she waits until the end of the last day of a deadline to tell us what's due lol

The sperm stays good in the liquid nitrogen shipper for 7 days. It shipped Friday, so we have till Thursday to use it. That shouldnt be a problem..
