AFM..
Well I had my planning appointment with the FS last week before I headed north to Canada for a 3 week work/vacation. We are going to do a fresh IVF cycle with CCS (my FS calls it PGD), freeze all, and do a FET later with the embryos that are good. We're also going to test my 2 frozen embryos and if either of those are good, we'll transfer them during the Fresh IVF, so it will be a IVF/FET all in one if either of the 2 frozen ones are good. We don't have a choice about transferring the frozen the day after we thaw them as they can't be re-frozen, so we'll have to do a day 6 transfer of them if they are good. I wish we could wait and do a FET with them (as I think my uterus is inhospitable during IVF due to the high levels of estrogen). Oh well, this is our only cost effective option. I could pay $5K to test the 2 I have on their own, but that is a lot of money to spend for 2 embryos. If we test them all at once, during the fresh IVF, we can test all the embryos I have for $5K. I'm guessing that we'll be doing the fresh IVF in Sept/Oct.
While I was at the FS, they drew blood to look at my NK Cells and AMH. I called the FS office on Wednesday to see if they had the results and the nurse wouldn't give me the results from my AMH, she said that the FS thought there was a lab error and wanted it retested! I was able to get from her that the number was super high, higher than my AMH before which was 3.6 or 3.8 or something like that. So I have no idea how high it was? It freaks me out that it was super high as high AMH can be a sign of PCOS. So they thought they would have the second test results today. I'm going to call in a bit to see if they have more conclusive results, and to get the results of my NK Cell test. Hopefully that will be normal, and I won't have to do the IVIG anymore! That would make me very happy!
