Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Congratulations & best wishes!!! :)

Hi I'm 36 too and a newbie,

Ttc#1 currently taking Clomid 100mg for 5 days, today is my last day an I oh back this week for us & bw! I'm nervous/anxious. Good luck to you! I'd like to know if others around the same age took a while to conceive too

Hello ladies, I am 38, turning 39 in Nov. I am back in the TTC pool, going for my 1st round of IUI again. It worked so well last time, but I had 3mos of acupuncture and herbs leading into it. We'll see how this round goes.

Hi. I am 38 and new here. I am ttc #4 after a mmc last month. Nervous about ttc but also having a healthy pregnancy this time and at my age. Also scared to go through what we just went through.

Good luck to all!!

Well, I've decided to try preseed this month when the time comes (I'm only on CD3 now). Also, DH has his sperm analysis scheduled for Friday. So, hopefully we will find something out (hopefully something positive) from that soon. This TTC business is hard work!

I am one step closer to making this a reality ! :happydance:

Today I scheduled the consultation appt with the urologist who will do the VR ! Yay ! It's scheduled for Sept. 12th. If all goes well, we could be having a surgery within a couple months of that.

We just have to find financing for it and we should be good to go. I don't know why he wouldn't be accepted as a candidate for the surgery, he is young and only has 1 kid. Not sure what their requirements are, so I can't wait until this appointment to hear what the doc has to say !

I can't believe it. After DH went in for the SA on Friday, he was told they would call with the results Monday. Thank Heaven for quick turnarounds!

They probably have a lab on the premises. The fast turnaround is such a relief. The waiting is so maddening!

The results are in and all is well. The SA was all-around within normal limits!

Just turned 40 on 5/31, DH is 44, we are TTC again after a 3 year break (LTTTC from 2006-2011), I'm back on BnB and happy I found this section of the forum

Welcome. I'm back for TTC #2. This is a great thread. It's not as active lately but the ladies are wonderful and supportive. I had my IUI on Fri but only one follie. Same protocol as last time. I'm officially in the TWW. Will test Aug 13 at 12dpiui which is when I got my BFP last time. I'm not as encouraged as we haven't done any if the acupuncture or herbs which helped me stim better last time. DH had 48million post wash and they used half, motility was 89%. The Endomentrin is giving me side effects so I am not symptom spotting. I love my RE at Cornell in NYC. I cannot rave about them more. It's amazing how many women are there when I go. It's helpful to know I am not alone in having trouble conceiving.

What is your plan? Have you done acupuncture? I swear it helps!

Hello-

First time to any board.

Always browsing so after 10 months of TTC I have thrown in the towel and decided to join the other women on this very same journey :flower:

I am currently 38 years old, and ttc for 10 very long months. I am on CD 54. I last tested about two weeks ago...bfn, with 4 bfns from 10 dpo. (5 total bfns...yuck!) Still no af and a bit nervous to test as I feel like it will be another bfn.

Do I continue on this thread? Or am I going about this all wrong? lol

Hi Ladies,
I'm a newbie and on my 1st cycle of Clomid, cutrently 7dpo. This morning I had cd21 bw and just got the results. My progesterone was 12. I asked the nurse if that was good and she said, yes and I did not need suppositories at this point. She also said if AF doesn't arrive by 8/18 come in for a pregnancy test or if AF arrives call to report cd1. I've been reading online and saw some people say over 15 is really good. I'm a little concerned, as low progesterone was an isuue in my previous pregnancy (mc @ 7 weeks). I'm over thinking things and need some advice. Is this good? Should I use the suppositories anyway (just asking, my hubby say do exactly what they say).

I have this wet feeling - sooty if it's tmi. Yesterday it was watery like and today is creamier like lotion. Boobs are a little sore and some other symptoms but nothing too big time. Should I test? If so, when or should I wait? I'm so nervous because I want to know ASAP because I have a medical condition and need to be monitored by a maternal fetal med doctor.

Thank you in advanced for responding!good luck to all

Implantation occurs between 6-12dpo. At 7dpo it would be too soon to feel symptoms. Check out countdowntopregnancy.com and look at the stats of positive vs negative tests by dpo. As far as progesterone 12 seems like a good number. If they were concerned they would put you on the supps. Voice your concerns though and their response should put you at ease. Try not to Google symptoms bc your body can play tricks when it comes to hormones. Progesterone as it rises befor pregnancy and your period can make it hard to discern what is going on. Just relax and test at 12dpo, most get their bfp then. Good luck and stay positive.

Af due this last Sat light spotting yesterday then small clot this this morning and now light bleeding. is it possible to be pregnant or is this af
