Phil...Of course we would like to see the finished product!! I am amazed by anyone that can take fabric and sew it up in a way that allows it to become clothing! Lol! Needless to say, I am not that person...my attempts in the past border on horrific at best!

HEHE!!! Me too! My last attempt at making clothes was for my cabbage patch kid! remember those? HAHAHAHA!!! I am fairly competent in other ways, like home decor, painting, re-upolstering, handy man type things, but not sewing or knitting. I too am in awe of those that can do these things and do them well

I am the same way! Handyman more so than my BF! Lol!

My nose is going crazy.. I've sneezed probably 2 dozen times so far today, and my nose is either dripping like a tap or totally stuffed. One second I need to blow, the next I can't get anything out of it. ARGH! Is this a symptom or am I just coming down with allergies or a cold?

its something to do with blood vessels and all the nutrients are going to baby so mummy suceptible to colds early as implantation or possibly a week into pregnancy,hence the cold symptoms

WOW! I had no idea! I may be having symptoms afterall! My nose has settled down for now, but man for about 3 hours this morning I was sneezing and blowing my nose like crazy, then I had a really bad hot flash.
I think it is too soon for symptoms though, I'm only 3DPO!!

Maybe I just have a super fast little zygote.. HEHE. His Dad and Uncle are really athletic, maybe that helps?

Hi ladies! Sorry I haven't been on - been running errands all day Now I am starving and want a snack but have to cook dinner in an hour so thinking I should wait I said to heck with yard work today and have just wandered around in the sunshine and done my work indoors...

Ali- yes, your temps look awesome! My temps stayed between 97.6 and 97.9 until the day or so of my bfp then went up to 98... so your temp looks awesome for this point! Plus, you have to remember- your temp will seem low to you if you are charting your bbt--as you wake up and move around your body is going to spring up to its natural temps of 98.whatever. So remember- your bbt is usually going to be around 95 something until you ovulate then it goes up. Once you implant it is going to spike some further. And yes- stuffy nose allergy-type symptoms are also bfp symptoms - hormones, blood increases, etc...

Phil - wow! What is Guinness Cake and can I have some? Btw the outfit sounds awesome, I would love to see pics of it!! My sister used to sew loads of stuff but never modern things either...I can make things and I can tailor clothes but not sure about patterns, etc.

I just tested with an IC and it was really faintly I don't think it's real as I had the HCG shot only 5 days ago. I will test again tomorrow and see if it gets lighter or darker, plus I'm only 3dpo..
I really only tested because I was curious if the HCG was still in me from the trigger.
Well that and the nausea and annoying allergy attacks I have had. I'm just so impatient!!

AFM,today is cd 13 and ov day,had my 1st peak on moniter yesterday along with pos opk and fertile cm and cervix position,today my temp went up and another pos opk and peak on moniter so expecting crosshairs in next couple of days

alin3boys - thanks! I'm excited, and hopeful, but I am fairly sure that it is the HCG shot that is giving me the positive. They say it can take 5-10 days to clear your system, and it has only been 5 days. I figure I'll just keep testing with the ICs and see if it gets lighter or darker. Lighter won't be bad providing it gets darker in a few days!!! As for you, that is great, you are ovulating and I hope BD'ing !!! FX'd that you are successful!!!

Ali- re: the positive hcg...yep, probably from your shot as it takes generally4-5 days for implantation, then secretion of hcg...another 3 days or so to get sufficient in your bloodstream for hpt. Now, in a couple days if those hpt lines start getting darker... Remember- no smoking, drinking, hard sports, new exersizes, no thinking bad thoughts In the words of Peter Pan "tink happy tots!" lol. I am excited for you, I can imagine how you feel- you have Olympic swimmers andstaright on target so I can't wait for you to test what- maybe next week??

Yep that is the plan!

I swear the test I took this morning was marginally darker than the one last night. Could be my mind playing tricks on me or the IC is fading, or I had slightly higher HCG in my urine due to it being FMU? IDK! I am going to keep testing every morning just to see if it gets darker.
One can hope that all is well I will keep 'tinking happy tots' !!!
I hate the wait though, can I just knock myself out and wake up in a week?
As for really testing, I wouldn't expect to see anything much before Friday, but possibly not even until next week. Friday would be 7DPO and 8 days after my HCG shot. I hope it works!! Olympic swimmers, I like that!!!
