Thanks for your continued well wishes, I really do hope it works and I get a real BFP. I know I need to have patience, but I'm just not a patient person!!! So this is extra super difficult for me!

I checked out your website, what an awesome thing you are doing! How long will it take you to ride around NI? Forgive me for my ignorance as I have no clue how big of an area NI covers (which is extra bad because I majored in Geography)!!!

Yes, I'm going to do the HSG and DH will do the SA this next month, so we'll be ready to rock the second month.

I think the TWW isn't driving me as crazy because I am less optimistic this month. Not in a bad way. I'm just starting to realize that it's not that easy to get pg. The first month we tried, I was sure it had worked. Then, each month, I have gotten more and more realistic.

Anyway, if I do get a BFP, I'll be super-psyched because I've come to almost expect the let down of the BFN.

I can understand why you would be so anxious, Ali. Your odds have greatly increased with the IUI!

Yay! Two more cycles won't take long- hopefully you get your bfp before that but if not you have agreat plan scheduled

Morning Everyone!!!

How are all my TTC buddies and pregnant buddies?

I hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying HUMP day!

Current status: my abdomen is crampy and annoying, my lower back is a little sore too. This is how I feel every month at this time, so I really don't know if it worked or not. I did find a gecko in my house last night, which is supposed to be good luck! I'm not sure if it counts though since about 30 seconds after I found him, Zoe my dachshund pounced on him and gobbled him up! She is such a hunter!

Oh, and I woke up this morning with some funky red blotches on my face on either side of my nose. What the heck is that? I looked at myself in the mirror and almost screamed in terror!

My temp rose quite a bit this morning, from 97.75 to 98.36 so that is quite a bump!

I tested again this morning, and I still have the faintest it is so faint, it almost isn't there so hopefully the HCG shot is almost out of my body!

I also named my zygote last night, I know that it is a little premature, but it just kinda popped into my head last night when I was rubbing my belly and I was talking to it. I've called it my little lima bean. I was telling it to make its way down the tube and find a really nice comfy spot in my lining. Please tell me I'm not totally crazy!!

Ali thats a nice rise in temp,don't want to get your hopes u but skin breakout is another symptom along with your backache,i am so praying this is it for you

We can hope that I am.. but I kinda feel like my period is coming, the same cramps and lower back pain. I hear though that until the HCG starts to increase, that your symptoms really match your period symptoms. So who knows? It is still too soon to tell.

As for you.. 1DPO, and your 2WW begins! It is good that your temp rose, isn't that was is supposed to happen post ovulation? So that is a good sign that you did ovulate, YAY!!!

I was crazy busy yesterday. I had my second interview for the new job I so desperately want. The interview went really really well!! There is one more round of interviews that only 3 of the 6 candidates will move on to. I am fairly convinced I will make it to that round. The CEO was really impressed with my strong background in statistics.

So, if I get this job, I will probably wait until the end of the year to TTC. But I am addicted to this thread, so I won't be going anywhere. I feel like everyone on here are my new friends. I love it

yes i have ovulated on same day for last few months so knew was coming just hope them temps stay up,its never took me longer than 3 cycles to concieve with the moniter

Congrats on the interview, sounds like you are really knocking their socks off, was there a doubt? Yes, that does make sense to wait, but then again the longer you wait at our age the harder it will be. Have you done the egg reserve test? That is something you might consider doing, at least then you'll have the peace of mind knowing that you are still good to go!!

I did do another hpt this morning, but it was still really faint so it is still left over from my HCG shot. At least if I see it getting darker, I'll know it is for real!! I'm only 5DPO, so there are still several days before I could see a true the wait is driving me totally crazy

So glad you won't be leaving us if you do get the job and decide to put off getting pregnant. We would all miss you so much!

Ali- wow, that is an awesome jump in temp! The only time my temp jumped like that was with bfp but I didn't temp for ages, I was fairly new to it. Yours has been steadily climbing since the 8th so it looks good. I'd hate toget your hopes up then stupid AF show her ugly face but that does happen. However- I don't want you to worry either as just because you are exhbiting awesome signs of does not mean that you are paranoid! This could be (and chances are high) your month for So keep your fingers and toes crossed! Can't wiat for your test int he next 5 days or so! I have read that the hcg shot stays in your system onlyf or about 3-4 days but not sure on the accuracy of that info...They say it's best to wait to test for a positive until the usual 10 dpo or so. So keep testing but don't rely ont he results until about then! What'd your doc say about the shot? What kind was it??

Jess- hope you get the job you want! Don't let that prevent you ttc though--they can just tough it out, there are laws you know! Although I did get fired for getting pregnant my boss was a major a**hole but he is now regretting having ever met me So is his attorney I don't take crap without fighting back But you are very skilled and apparently qualified and good at what you do- so keep ttc or we'll all be sad lol!

AFM- ah, what a start to the day! I had a horrible nightmare that goes back to some psychological issues with my family and then I woke up from that only to hear people shouting in my living room at the break of dawn! So I rushed to check my girls and one was missing ...well I found her in the living room sitting about a foot and half from the tv with it's speakers ready to blow she had the damn volume turned up so loud! That was the people I heard shouting So I took the remotes away from her and gave her a good talking to and went back to bed

Today is room finishing day I am sooo looking forward to having it done! Then I can start stocking the drawers with diapers and baby clothes Then its on to getting my room set for the cradle That'll take some creativity on my part lol

I certainly hope that it is my turn! I know I haven't been trying that long, but man this is the perfect time for me to get pregnant. It just fits into my life really well. Now that doesn't mean that I will get pregnant. It is really up to God, but I am very hopeful. I am talking to my abdomen, coaching the zygote.. hehe Talking with the big man upstairs too. Plus I'm doing the painful waiting thing. OMG I think I'm going to go insane! I need to wait another 3-13 days probably. I guess if I see an implantation dip or some spotting then we'll have a better idea. How do women constantly do this? AHHH!!
