Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Ok, so I already told yall that I was not focused on tracking anything this month. I didn't do the OPK, didn't do the temps, check CM or anything. (I did take the Mucinex and evening primrose oil) But I just realized last night my BBs have been sore for over a week. Initially I was thinking it was my body getting back to normal or maybe I was sore from a really good chest workout. BUT...normally, they don't get sore at all. And my BBS dont get sore from a chest workout...only my muscles do. Can the mucinex or primrose cause my BBS to be sore?

So, lets just say that when me and BF BD'd at the beginning of the month it led to PG...how soon do BBs start to get sore? I know it is probably different for everyone, but I would like to hear from yall...

~~Jess

Good question!! Do you have any guess as to what DPO you are on? I seem to recall that you thought you were going to O last weekend? So you might be 4-5DPO? I'm not sure if it is the progesterone or the HCG that makes your boobs sore. If it is the progesterone, then you would feel it shortly after O, and if it is the HCG then you'd feel it after implantation. I do know that sore BBS is a sign of pregnancy!! :yipee: now wouldn't that be a surprise!!! A good surprise!!

I have no idea when I ovulated...now I wish I would have paid more attention!! (Like yall told me to do !!) :dohh:

Oh well, I guess I just need to wait and see if AF comes at the end of next week.

It would be a HUGE surprise! But OMG!! I would have to wait to tell my future employer!! Lol!

For those who enjoy symptom analysis, I'm 6dpo and started feeling a medium about of bloating yesterday which continues today.

I looked at my chart from last month and on 11dpo I felt very bloated. That night I started my regular pre-AF spotting. So, today is too early for the spotting. No other symptoms to speak of. Thoughts?

I love symptom analysis!! But unfortunately, my positive and hopeful nature causes me to think EVERYONE is PG! :haha: So I am really terrible at it! But I do like reading about what yall are going through. Isn't it insane how our bodies are so similar and at the same time...so different?!?

No pain nor IB.

HMM.. I think at this point it is just too soon to tell. It could be a symptom of AF or PG! I am 6DPO and I have been having a lot of lower back pain and cramping with my bloating. Unfortunately this is how I feel this week every month, so I don't know what to think about that. Maybe :witch: is coming?

Ali: I'm super hopeful for you. I guess we have to be patient.

I decided to wait to test until 11dpo, as that's when DH's SA is scheduled for. I'd love to be able to cancel his appointment!

I've actually been testing daily and have had faint :bfp: the past few days. This is not a real :bfp: though, as it is just the after effect of the HCG shot. I have been waiting for it to go away so that if I do see a :bfp: then I'll know it is real! Today it was super faint, almost not discernible to the naked eye. So if it gets darker, then I'll know that it is for real. I don't really think that I'll see a true :bfp: until Mon/Tues which I think is 10/11DPO? So right around the same time you will be testing. :hugs: cycle buddy!

WOW.. I jut got a really funky wave of nausea followed by total exhaustion.
I literally could do a face plant into my keyboard and go to sleep

It is only 20 after 1, I have several more hours of work, then the nasty drive home. Good news is that I get to work from home tomorrow. That will help!

Is fatigue this early (6DPO) a symptom?

Hey Ali...according to this website, fatigue is the #1 symptom at 6DPO...:)

:yipee: I am still so sleepy, I almost feel too tired to smile! :haha:

Jess- yep, this would be the right time for a bfp to make your bbs sore! :haha: Mine weren't right away but I read most women do have that as a very early symptom. Mine are super sore now :growlmad: for some dumb reason. Oh, and no mucinex and primrose will not make your bbs sore...

Hope you get the job you want  sounds very positive! I am currently embroiled in the third year of a court battle with my old job....I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel at this point but it sure does bring a lot of stress with it!

Hi ladies! AFM- am tired today and in super crabby mood. I worked hard on the girls room yesterday and had to lug big boxes of books around and I am more than a little pi**ed off that dh sees me as being invincible. My exhaustion is not laziness! lol! When I went to bed last night my feet and stomache hurt super bad, just the tummy muscles. Babes seems to stick out more at night and I did a lot of lifting and bending...then I get up to a marathon of cooking breakfast, making coffee, doing dishes, cleaning the kitchen and finally I sit down to a cup of tea and peice of toast and get inundated with requests from my children to perform things for them....you know, fix my hair but don't brush the tangles! Blow up my pool? I can't find my favorite toy! "Mom, Kat's being mean!" and et cetera....Plus my 7 year old swaggers into the kitchen and informs me cooly "I'll take bacon with my eggs this morning" :saywhat: I am speechless. Can I say "little shit" on bnb? 'Cause that's what I'm thinking!

I did not make bacon. lol! Her dad had to get after her and tell her this is not a restaraunt and she'll eat what's given to her. KIDS!

Anyway I amtrying hard to brighten my mood. I think chocolate will help!

grey eyes please go easy on the lifting hun and i have a "little shit as well" who at this moment refusing to go to bed and hubby on nights

AWW.. Coy, I'm sorry to hear your day was not great. Sounds like your little ones keep you busy! I commented earlier today to you in hopes that today would be better then yesterday. Oh well, hopefully tomorrow will be! Make sure you get a good nights sleep  and have that chocolate, and maybe some ice cream too! That will cheer you up!!! :flower:

Good luck getting them ready for bed!

Awh Coy! I can't help but chuckle just a little bit at your little one requesting bacon! She seems to have a strong personality that, while it may get her in trouble as a child at home, it will be to her benefit when she is older!

I can't wait until I get to talk about the woes of having more than one young child to reckon with...:winkwink: But I guess I better just focus on getting one young one in the house for right now! Lol!

AND...I think chocolate will absolutely do the trick...if not for the day, then at least for the moment...

Ali
...Ice cream sounds wonderful!! And I haven't even had a stressful day. I think I should have some in honor and recognition of what Coy is going through!! :haha: I can take one for the team...bite the bullet...tough this one out...and just chow down on some Ben & Jerry's. I would be willing to make that sacrifice for all of you!!

Lol, you all make me smile :) I am actually feeling better att he moment, I sent the girls outside to play and made them angry by spraying them with sunscreen  lol...We had a social call- just a nice visit- from our local police chief to express his gratitude over our concern for the safety of the children in our community...we have been working hard to improve safety consitions for playing children in our town. But the visit made our crazy neighbors really suspicious and paranoid :haha: So I got a laugh out of that too

Today is brightening up a little..no major assignments in school today so I can focus on (drumroll) THE ROOM. lol, it has a daunting title of The Room now :haha: Soon I will be finished  lol

Alin- yay! Kids are fun aren't they! :haha: Oh I have a time getting mine to sleep...generally if I can get them to juststop talking for about 30 seconds they both go out like lights! It's the struggle to that 30 second moment that is difficult!

Jess-Mmmm Ice cream does sound awesome! I'm gonna take one for the team too!

Ali- yes, you def want a child! They can be major butt-pains sometimes but I love them very much! :hugs:

And yes, both my girls are very strongwilled and stubborn...dh and I try to discipline that without working it out of them. We tell them straight out it is good to be strong and strongwilled but never to fight each other ... and always do what mom says :haha:

FirstTry- how are you today?

Marathongirl- where have you been? You're MIA!! :sad1:

I think I might just have to join Jess and Coy and have some ice cream too! It was on sale at Target last week, and I bought 2 flavors. I have been good though, and only had 1 scoop since I bought it, well OK it was one BIG scoop :haha:, but only once!

I have a massage tonight, and while they are sooooo nice, I am always embarassed when I start snoring :haha: This sometimes happens if I'm super tired, and well today I am beyond super tired, so I have a feeling I will be asleep  on the massage table, snoring away! TEEHEE.

yep you gotta love em,my 4 yr old makes me laugh as he will come upto me and say "whats your name" so i say mummy and he replies im samuel wilkin,i reply i know sweetheart then he says "im not sweetheart im samuel wilkin" lol,or he will say i wouv you (love) and "are you my best friend"

my 9 yr old has autism and if he gets told of he slams doors,so i tell him of and then say "don't you slam that door"and he looks at me opens the door walks out and slams it the little monkey.

ali you defo want kids can be pains but so funny to

Ohh.. I have a question for those of you that have been pregnant, or are pregnant.

I normally sleep on my side with the top leg kicked up and rotated so I am kind of on my stomach. Well last night it didn't feel good to do that. It is hard to describe, but it felt like my stomach wasn't hanging the way it normally does. Any thoughts? Or am I just imagining all sorts of crazy?
