We'll Be Over The Moon, When We Get Our BFPs In June! Newbies welcome :)

Get to it girl!! There's still time even if you Od earlier today! Cut that eggy off at the pass!! :)

plenty of time! the clearblueeasy website says: "A woman‘s most fertile time spans about 6 days, starting approximately 5 days prior to ovulation". You are still in the game!

Rachel-I will repeat myself like I do every month :)winkwink:)...Sperm can live up to 5 days! You still have a chance! lol Plus if you bd tonight and the egg just released today, you still have a chance of getting even more up there! I cannot wait until you get a bfp!

Very random but this evening I went to the bathroom at work and noticed tons and tons of creamy/lotiony white CM. I don't have it mentioned on any of my charts but I don't recall it being typical for my cycles. I've had it happen every now and again but it's not something that regularly occurs each cycle.

4dpo is still too early for any signs/symptoms but I'm hoping it's going to turn into a good sign.

Rachel get bding :)

I think i od today...of course today was the 1 day tht i didnt do an opk :dohh: but in the evening ard 6ish i had really really bad stabbing pains in my right...im pretty sure it was o pains as i felt the same jabbing pains in march the cycle after my misscariiage and my temps started rising the next day...luckily we bded last night...will do again tonight just in case.... im thinking i shud call and reschedule my dr app till next week??? lets c wat the temps say tomorrow...the worst part is bcos of my allergies i dont really trust my temps this mths cos somedays i get up and i know ive slept with my mouth open...aahh well ggrrrr

Yeah... my temps this month are so inaccurate but I'm just watching for a post-O increase right now. Just seeing if they stay higher although FF hasn't even given me a coverline for this month because my temps are so erratic.

I've either slept with my mouth open (several nights) or not gotten a solid 3 hours of sleep (a couple nights) or took my temp at a different time either because I didn't get a solid 3 hours sleep before my alarm to temp went off (so I'd turn off my alarm and just temp when I woke up.)

Thanks ladies. We bd last night, DH was feeling frisky so it worked out to my advantage in more ways than one...I know they say sperm can live up to 5 days I just get all freaked out because we never bd enough. My opk was more positive than its ever been! It was neg yesterday morning then I went to work and had cramps all day until I passed out last night so I'm pretty sure I O'd yesterday afternoon/evening...

Sonia - I'm glad you (hopefully) finally O'd! I would delay your appt till 7 dpo

Waves - I get that early in my tww

My very positive opk! It's always the same color as the control, never darker! I hope this means a stronger O! Fx

I can't wait till my hpt looks like this

STILL NO AF.....

Waves- This cycle I also had very creamy CM after O until expected AF.. I read that it may be leukkhorea (sp?) which is the CM that you get when prego..? Can't wait for you to test, I love that part :happydance:

Rachel- I feel the same around O time. When I'm at work I feel like I'm losing precious Eggie hours and it just really ruins the day.. :/ Happened to me this month, I took an OPK and it was positive one night and by the time I was home the next day it had gone negative. I worried that I was at work and didn't catch it :growlmad: That's why OPK's make me wanna rip my hair out!!

Sonia- You were talking about bad ovary pain after O.. Well this cycle I had TERRIBLE ovary pain and am not sure why? Any ideas??

Still no AF, and what I'm thinking happened (neither has ever happened before, this is simply based on my Google diagnosis!) is that I either

A.) I didn't ovulate this cycle. Seeing as I don't temp, I guess I can't really confirm O. And since I had positive OPK's this cycle around O time, I should prob confirm that I truly am O'ing so that I'm not wasting my time.. I mean if I O'ed then my period would be here by now, right?! I am like 19DPO guys!!

We don't have the greatest insurance and they won't cover anything until I'm pregnant again, so having a fully monitored cycle is probably not really even an option for us..

B.) Or, I could be having some kind of tubal pregnancy or mc and that would be very scary. Esp bc I am just having light cramps and not anything too alarming..? This cycle though, around and after O, I had HORRIBLE ovary pains. For like a week after O also. I had to have O'ed. It was right on time and I had very dark line on 3 OPK's!!?

Anyone who has very long cycles (such as 35+ days, as I am having) could you tell me why? I also am going to go ahead and start temping so that I can confirm an O next month. So if anyone can tell me about temping that'd be great too, as I have never done so and would prob do it vaginally, as I sleep with my mouth open. Lol anything you know would be great as I am very confused with my body, which has always been very regular before and after birth. (Which, I know, could be playing a part in it too.. I'm just wondering where my period is since I swear I tracked my O, bd'ed on/before those days, and now have NO period. Gah, I want a baby.)

morgan, i have very long irregular cycles. thru the magic of temping, i can always tell when i've ovulated. one cycle, i had 14 days of positive opks! they wanted to test my "21 day" progesterone, but since i knew i had not ovulated and it would be a waste of time, i waited until i saw the thermal shift. (this was the month i was diagnosed with PCOS because my other hormones were whacky, including my LH:FSH ratio). Even on the clomid i am still temping, and again they wanted me to do 7dpo on day 21, but i did not ovulate until day 17, so it would have been at least 3 days early. temping has saved (and ruined, ironically) my life, both for ttc and for predicting when my period will come. i temp with my mouth, but the practice is the same: at least 3 hours of sleep, and the same time each day. you are looking for a TREND, not for the numbers exactly. if you check out my charts, i usually start around 97.3, drop before ovulation (97/96.8), then pop up to above 97.6 after. i would still suggest an hcg blood test, though, becuase if you have always had regular cycles and you are "late" now, you want to catch anything suspect early.

Thank you Mirolee, always so helpful :) I'm looking for thermometers online, not looking forward to monitoring yet another part of my body
I hope you have a safe trip home!! And have lots of fun once you get there ;)

I just can't make myself believe that I didn't O, because I swear I felt such strong O pains in both ovaries! My body tried very hard to if not!

Hmm.. HPTand BBT thermo at lunch I guess.. :dohh:

I just can't make myself believe that I didn't O, because I swear I felt such strong O pains in both ovaries! My body tried very hard to if not!

I had my Implanon removed on April 10th and wanted to TTC right away. I'd read so many stories from women saying they ovulated/conceived right away so that's what I was hoping would happen for us. 2 or 3 days after having it removed, I felt my usual strong ovulation pains and swore I ovulated. Tested every day from like 8dpo onward but no such luck. Every test was stark white. Turns out I didn't ovulate and it was just my body trying to regulate itself. I had so many strong pregnancy symptoms too... which made it harder to believe I didn't actually ovulate.

It's always possible the pain was due to cysts - for us both. I've had several cysts come and go so I know it's not unlikely for me. It may have been the same for you.

Morgan-the month I got preggo it was off a CD35 ovulation! I had three different positive OPKs each about nine days apart-my body tried three different times to O and then finally pulled it off! The only reason I knew this was because I had fertile cm like a week after my first pos OPK so I took another and boom-positive! It was the longest worst cycle ever!

That being said-I hate OPKs! I hate the timing and having to pee on sticks at work-I hate the variability-it is positive, is it not?! Too ambiguous! I tried this month and threw them away bc they pissed me off! Lol

This is my first month ever temping at it has been VERY useful, other then that I would just suggested BDing at least EOD when you have fertile cm (watery too, not just EW). Have you been BDing since she. You thought you Od?

Waves- I'm thinkin that's exactly what's going on here.. just wondering if I have to really O to finally have a period? I stopped OPK's and whatnot, anticipating a period, so should I do some more?

Kara- Yeah we BD'd for about a ten day stretch before and after.. my OPK's were very dark for 3 days- CD15,16,17. Then I had terrible ovary pain for a week and lots of prego symptoms, too! I bet it was the same as what Waves was saying- anovulatory. Should I still continue to BD? Will my body have to ovulate before a period comes?

No, you won't have to ovulate for your period to come. I don't know if it would be considered an anovulatory cycle or just your body regulating before you get your first actual cycle to start.

I know you weren't on BC for too long at all but because of giving birth and then going on BC, it may take a few months for your body to regulate (or it may go back to normal relatively quickly.) It's really hard to say because it's so different for everyone.

For example with my Implanon, I read that so many women got pregnant within 1-2 weeks of having it removed whereas there were others who were still trying to conceive after a year and then some women who wound up with unexplained fertility, PCOS, etc when they had no issues before the implant at all. So it's really, really hard to say what the likely situation is for you. That first "cycle" after having my implant removed, I eventually gave up testing and just resigned myself to waiting for AF to show. I had no idea when she was due because I hadn't had a period in over a year (got pregnant, gave birth, had some post-partum bleeding and then got the implant but never had a period with it inserted) so it was a big waiting game. I was about to call my doctor to ask for Provera to bring AF on but the day I was going to call, she showed her beautiful-ugly face lol.

So I am starting to worry about this month being anovulatory again. Normally I O tomorrow on cd 19 but today, cd 18, I still have sticky, hostile cm. I am going to take an opk in about an hour but I am really thinking it is going to be negative. It's normally positive around now. I hate not know wtf my body is going to do. This really is getting me down.

Looks like my prediction is wrong. If I don't O this month then I won't have another chance until August. My prediction was get the news in August from a cycle in July.

I am trying really hard to stay positive but its so hard sometimes.

Nichole- I really think clomid would help you. I know seeing a doc can be pricey, but I think the medication itself isn't too expensive.

I'm thinking about it. I wanted to see if losing weight would help me but I haven't been doing well in that area. How would I go abut finding a doctor? I was told my insurance wouldn't cover a fertility specialist but was told to try and see if it would partly cover a reproductive endocrinologist

Thanks everyone! The wedding was amazing. The weather actually ended up being great other than some wind so we were very thankful for that. Other than that everyone seemed to live it and if course I was the only one that knew when things weren't right lol but I tried to just shrug those off. Will post some pictures I get to a computer rather than my phone

Whoa so much to catch up on! Hope everyone had a good weekend

Ashlee, I'm so glad the wedding went well and the weather held out for you! Still thrilled that AF showed early and not on your wedding day!

Nichole, I have heard that some OB's will prescribe Clomid. Have you asked your regular Ob/Gyn about it?

Morgan, I agree with the other ladies, it may be a bit soon for your body to O. I wouldn't get too worried, you aren't that far post-partum!

Cassidy, YAY on making it official! Congrats!

Rachel, I hope you didn't miss the egg. Were you able to BD after the nearly pos test?

Sorry If i missed others, busy busy at work today. Hope you all have a good day!
