What age gap do you plan on having?

As it says what age gap to do you plan on having?

I plan on gettin the implant in at my 6 week check, having it i for 3 years, Getting it out and ttc#2 and then the same again.

Oooo, I like this question. Well, actually I would like my kids to have just a 2 yr age gap, but that means conceiving when baby #1 is 1yr old, might be a little bit too much... I remember I had a friend that had a 1yr age gap with her next sister, that means her parents concieved the 2nd baby when baby #1 was 3 months old!!! I guess that's why they then took 8 yrs to conceive baby #3... xxxxx

Hm, I'd like 3 years between all of them, but that'll depend on when we get to start and how long it'll take us to conceive.

I'm really not sure! I think we'd struggle to have any more than one, but I do want two children and I think I'd like maybe a 2 or 3 year gap I think.

I would like maybe 2 years at the most 3 year age gap between babies. Me and my lil bro have an 11 year age gap, then with my lil sis 13 year age gap so I know what its like to grow up with no siblings to play with! lol

We're going for a 2-yr age gap. I think 3 is ideal, but I waited until my 30s to have kids, so I don't feel like I necessarily have all the time in the world.

Ideally we want to wait until Jack is 2 or 3 so that he is old enough to understand a bit more and maybe help a little

Not very much at all! But that is at the moment, when we don't have any so we could well change our minds if we get to have one and find it is tougher than we are thinking!

As it stands, we would hope to stop using any contraception when number 1 was around the 8 month mark - get it out of the way quicker sort of thing!

But, like I say, it could all very well change!!!!

my daughter is 6 months.and im sooo desperate for another already, but that might be a bit too much, so i hoping to concieve between august-december 2010 if everything is going to plan, so my daughter would be around 2 or 3 when #2 is born.

well we're going to start trying when maddi's around 3 - so if we're very lucky and blessed again, as i have pcos, maybe baby no 2 will be here by the time she's 5 - would love like a 3 yr 9month age gap but just have to see what my body does too, would be amazing to be blessed again

I think an ideal gap for DH and I is 2 - 4 years apart.

DH and his younger brother are 2 years apart.
Me and my younger sister are 3 years apart

I think both of these gaps are great!

I have 2yr 2 months between ds and dd and the 3rd if we are blessed there will be a 5yr gap from ds and a 2yr 9months between them

We want around a 18 month - 2 year age gap between Lucy and the next one then around a 2 -3 year gap with the third (if im allowed a third!)

I'm not sure. There's three years between OH and his sister, and me and my sister, and I don't like that gap. It's too close, or too far, depending on how you look at it. It's too far for the kids to really be able to do the same stuff and play together properly, but too close for the younger one to understand this. My friend has 5 years between her and her sister, and that works much better. They have a proper "older sister, younger sister" relationship, without so much rivalry, since the younger sister understood she is indeed younger. Now they're both adult, they can socialise and so on together as adults and the age gap is irrelevent.

I think I'd like about 4 years between each. That does mean 12 years of toddlers, which is either a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not sure yet! My Mom reckons I should have them one a year, get it out the way. I think the problem with that is when they're, say, 5, 6 and 7, I'll be broody again!

There is 5 years between me and my brother but this was due to my mum getting pregnant and losing my sister via a premature labour, we are pretty close still though but I would like a smaller 2 - 3 year gap, prob start trying when first one was 2.

Ideally I will be 26 when pregnant with first so want to defo have second before 30, am quite keen on having 3 but not sure....

Ideally, once #2 is here, I'd want to wait maybe 18 monthsish before we start trying for #3... and then again between #3 and #4.... not sure how long we're going to leave it to try for #2 though... would like to concieve in January for an October baby, and we're wanting to get married before #2 comes along, in October as well (we're both October babies, and our anniversary is in October suckers for punishment there).

Does that make sense?

well i would love to have 4 children, so i think i would like a 2-3 year age gap between each one so ideally i would be around my early-mid 30s having my last child! i think! x
