What are your views on buying clothes from companies with factories in Bangladesh?

Yep. They do it because it is trendy. And because they can charge more for that line. The question surely is, why would a company need to have an "ethical" line? Surely if they were that conscious, all their clothes would be ethical so no need for a separate line.

If anyone is interested here is a great list of unethical companies: https://www.ethicalconsumer.org/boycotts/boycottslist.aspx

And specifically on clothes

https://www.ethicalconsumer.org/buyersguides/clothing.aspx

I've just been on the first link and if you stuck to it religiously you couldn't buy or bank anywhere lol, it even stated boycotting English dairy products because of the badger cull lol? I think I would have to be fully self sufficient to be an 'ethical consumer' but then I may question my own ethics lol...

Yeah it's very difficult to boycott everything, the only one I fully do is anything associated with Nestle. It's good that lists like these exist though just so you at least have the knowledge to make informed decisions about alternatives where possible.

Oh yeah was interesting reading! Definitely agree about Nestle, shocking.
