What did you eat today? (second trimester edition)

breakfast:
greek yogurt and bran: 300 c. (I keep hoping the bran with kick in!)

snack:
strawberies: 60
8 oz decaf latte: 65 c.

Lunch:
tomatoes/cucumber/lettuce/carrots: 60 c.
ham: 100 c.
dressing: 120 c.

Snack:
more bran: 150 c. (damn constipation!!)
apple: 90 c.

Dinner:
not sure yet...
veggie medley: 100 c.
egg whites: 80 c.
 
Ooh, interesting.....I don't think I've actually written down what I've eaten during a day for a long long time........here goes.......

Breakfast
1 bowl porridge with sultanas and banana
1 cup earl grey tea
glass water x 2

Breakfast no.2
2 slices homemade wholemeal bread, toasted, with butter and marmite

Late morning
Crunchie

Lunch
1 bowl leek and potato soup
4 slices bread and butter

Mid afternoon
1 apple
half a pear
2 slices bread and hummous

Dinner
Pasta with egg, bacon, parsley, courgette and parmesan
3 Duchy Original vanilla shortbreads

Punctuated by a few cups of Earl Grey and decaf instant coffee as required throughout the day!

This is pretty much a normal amount of food for me.......if I didn't eat this much I would loose weight, and I've only put on 3lb so far this pregnancy so don't want that to happen!
 
B: chocolate cereal (baddd i know but healthy cereal sends my blood sugar up which is really odd!) ha they do have iron in and folic acid so not all bad ;)

L: cheese on toast and a packet of wotsits
D: Chicken and pasta with a pasta sauce over the top, yummy

And i've just had some smiley faces now :lol:
 
OK im going to be tottttalllllly honest as everyone on babyandbump seems to be a saint :rofl: LOL

i usually eat fairly well, but today i am away with work and have eaten the following:

Breakfast: Porridge and OJ

Lunch: Chicken&Stuffing sandwich with monster munch

Drinks: water and about ten cups of decaff coffee........

Dinner: three dohnuts and 2 bags of cheese puffs.

ah yes, my avatar :) My friends on the Mid March Mama thread made it for me - due to my current obsession with Mcds fries!!!!

oh gosh, im painting a very unhealthy picture of myself :rofl:

can i redeem myself by saying that i also went through a strawberry phase?? a box a day none the less!!!! :)

Afternoon
English muffin with Nutella :blush:
Cheese quesadilla
Mixed green salad

Evening
OH and I are planning to go out for sushi :happydance:

I blame my carb-heavy day on my empty fridge. Hopefully we'll do a big shopping trip after Thanksgiving and stock up on more fresh fruits and veggies and some protein-rich snacks.

Today so far for me:
-Breakfast - Vector cereal with skim milk
-snack - 2 mini granola bars, tea with skim milk
-lunch - chicken & rice soup and cheese and crackers
-snack - unsweetened applesauce
-Dinner - undetermined. I'm feeling lazy and irritated today so it may well be a frozen lasagna
 
Today i have eaten

Breakfast: weetabix and low fat milk
Snack: apple and cereal bar
Lunch: Grilled ham, cheese and tomato sandwich
Snack: yoghurt and orange
Snack 2: cheese and crackers
Tea: homemade chicken, avocado and red pepper sushi and a tuna, cucumber, carrot and mayo rice ball
Dessert: will probably have some ice cream

hehe i eat alot but i'm not gaining weight so i'm not worried and it's mostly healthy
 
Once again so jealous of what your eating :haha:

Yesterday I ate
A bowl of mashed potato and gravy with a tiny bit of sage and onion stuffing
A raspberry jelly and custard pot
And some sour cream pringles with dip!

Then I threw it all back up :dohh:
Off to the docs today to beg for more anti sickness tablets!
 
2 slices toast with butter and jam
mug of peppermint tea
bowl of baked ziti
2 cups of dry cini-mini cereal
1/3 of an orange
pita bread with chumus
1/2 bag microwave popcorn
a handful (or three) of gummy-candy
a dozen (or so) chocolate-coated-biscuits...

I feel like I ate my own weight in junk today... :blush:
 
Breakfast: Egg sandwich ( 2 eggs, 1 english muffin, cheese)

Lunch: slice of meatloaf and mashed taters

Snack: measured out chips and 2 truffles

Dinner: unknown yet
 
okay...i know i eat much of the same thing everyday...but here goes...

breakfast:
bran and yogurt (sm. portion): 200 c.

snack:
apple: 90 c
16 oz nonfat latte: 130 c.

lunch:
tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce: 60 c.
ham: 100
dressing: 50 c.

snack:
hot cocoa: 80 c.
turkey shaped cookie: 80 c.

dinner:
not sure yet.

(i post the calorie content so that when i weigh myself and get anxious about the scale, i can tell myself i am not eating enormous amounts.)
 
Well I got some more sickness meds today so can finally post properly! :)

Breakfast - none

Lunch -
3 Jacobs cream crackers w marg and dairylea
Ambrosia jelly and custard pot

Dinner -
Large mcdonalds fries w Mayo to dip, double cheese burger, large still fanta

Snacks -
Krispy Kreme maple glazed ring donut
1 galaxy truffle
5 cartons Ribena (1litre total)

So happy I can finally eat and not throw up!!

Half a chicken and sweetcorn sandwich
A satsuma
Spag bol with meatballs rather than mince
Wotsits!
 
Dinner was a hot dog and a baked potato.

Also snacked on some spinach dip and had a slice of pumpkin pie.
 
Today i have eaten a bit crap

Breakfast: Chocolate cereal and milk

Snack a few tiny dumplings and piece of cake (work party)

Lunch: Tomato soup and grilled cheese + apple

Snack: Yoghurt and an orange

Tea: Beef massamun curry and rice

Dessert: mars bar muffin with cream cheese icing - bad i know but it's OH's fault lol
 
Today....

fruit & fibre cereal

2 small slices veg pizza

bacon, cheese and chilli jam sandwich

2 oranges and a breakaway
 
Yesterdays :)

Breakfast: A muller fruit yoghurt and a tub of grapes
Snack: A little sultana scone with sunflower spread
Dinner: A white baguette with ham, cheese and branston pickle and some wotsits
Tea: Levi roots reggae reggae chicken curry with rice and peas
Snacks: An orange and two apples

Early snack: little scone with spread and an apple
Breakfast: A ham, cheese and pickle sandwich (craving at the minute see above!) a yoghurt and a banana
Dinner: Two grilled wraps with chicken and cheese inside, and two bags of quavers (blush)
Snack: Mini snacksize nutty chocolate bar
Will be having steak pie and peas for tea and probably a little bowl of cereal if I get hungry later on tonight :/
