I think it's fine for a mn. It's from HP and I think if you used it for a first name people would always be asking if you were big Harry Potter fans. But for mns I think you an be more adventurous. I wanted Picabo for a mn for my DD (after the skiier Picabo Street) but OH said no!

I do like it, but I also think a lot of people would think of Harry Potter and not the goddess. it;s just whether you would get annoyed telling people that you didn't get it from HP all the time IYKWIM. If it wouldn't bother you then go for it!

Minerva Mink was the "slutty" Warner Bros cartoon character in the show Animaniacs in the early 90's... Since then she's turned into a spin-off porn kinda character with some "inappropriate" Google Image search results... If she ever googles her name, she might question where you got the name from
