Boony - if your OH is bringing home £28k before tax is taken off and that is your famillies only income then you SHOULD be entitled to some child tax credits. (If it is £28k after tax then you are probably just on the cusp of not being entitled to anything)

If you ahven't already then make sure you check up - every penny counts and all that

its 28k before tax, we get £10 a week ctc but apparently not entitled to the childcare element we've asked a few times and they always say no

incredibly violent & terrifying, they had no mercy. would tease people by burning crosses on lawns of houses that they were targetting next. they also came after people who stuck up for black people, or who didnt refuse to work with them. shopkeepers or lawyers etc. thats what i remember anyway.

i know they still exist, but in a very different form, and are MUCH more liable for the crimes they commit today than they were years ago. Back then people were too scared to arrest them for fear of retaliation from the other members.
