I live in the countryside and a lot of people who live around here are very rich and feel like living in the Lakes means a 4x4 is necessary (it isn't). Of course they don't buy old and sturdy landrovers like most of the actual farmers have, instead they all have £30k brand spanking new Range Rovers. Fine, whatever. But what seriously bugs me is when I meet them on a little country road, the type where you have to reverse 2 miles to find a passing place, and they are so worried at getting their pretty cars scratched or dirty that they will not budge over or even go near a hedge, so I'm practically in a ditch in my cheap little car, which, unlike theirs, wasn't actually designed to manage ditches and hedges and a bit of mud
The irony of them 'needing' these cars for living here and yet refusing to go as much as an inch off road, in their off road vehicle, drives me insane!! And this happens like twice a day.
