What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

My gym and their stupid payment system! They don't do a monthly free, ooohhh no! They do a fortnightly fee. Every 14 days on the dot. And sometimes it can fall three times in one month, like this month. Thanks to them I'm in the red (thankfully the bank pays it and I don't get charged) but still, uggghhh!!!

I live in the countryside and a lot of people who live around here are very rich and feel like living in the Lakes means a 4x4 is necessary (it isn't). Of course they don't buy old and sturdy landrovers like most of the actual farmers have, instead they all have £30k brand spanking new Range Rovers. Fine, whatever. But what seriously bugs me is when I meet them on a little country road, the type where you have to reverse 2 miles to find a passing place, and they are so worried at getting their pretty cars scratched or dirty that they will not budge over or even go near a hedge, so I'm practically in a ditch in my cheap little car, which, unlike theirs, wasn't actually designed to manage ditches and hedges and a bit of mud :dohh: The irony of them 'needing' these cars for living here and yet refusing to go as much as an inch off road, in their off road vehicle, drives me insane!! And this happens like twice a day.

Those same drivers who take up two parking spaces or parent and baby spaces so their precious cars don't dented or scratched.

People that use the Disabled or Parent & Child parking spaces when they have no reason to do so.

Also the fact that it's so hot that my chocolate digestives have melted together.

Yep! They're so irritating. I feel like they assume because they so clearly have money they think they're better than you. I swear last week I saw a woman in a massive white Range Rover slow to about 5mph and drive extremely carefully over some muddy potholes so as not to splash her car (it wasn't at all necessary to slow down so much), but I bet if she was asked why she needed a 4x4 she's say it's because she lives rurally! :dohh:

The girl at work who always talks to me but doesn't face me. She sits in front of me so she will talk towards the front door when I'm behind her, then she'll get all hissy when I don't respond :dohh: How am I supposed to know you're talking to me when you aren't looking my direction?! :haha:

People who don't use their signal ESP when cutting across multiple lanes [I've probably said it before but it happened today and scared the life out of me as it was so sudden and they almost took the front end of my car off :grr:]

Those that don't clean up after their dog ESP when it's gone on the walkway :growlmad:

I hate when people talk to me but dont look at me! Sooo rude!

People that are in a residential road and chatting loudly, cracking jokes after ten pm/22h. It is residential area, here i wont shut my window just because you are so loud at an ungodly time during the week.

The fact that the toilet seat covers are too small for the seat at work and you get it on there only to have it fall into the water right as you sit down :dohh: I swear this is a daily lefthander [ <---- autocorrect got me, that was supposed to be occurrence, somehow it got lefthander out of that :haha:] for me.

And on that note, my dmv phones autocorrect sucks big time. I th type fit [that was meant to say "for"] and it wasn't even have our af an option. [I theyr all that as is to prove my point haha :haha:]

My auto correct is awful on this phone too.. just then it replaced auto with autism.....

Autocorrect stresses me out when I type a word, it autocorrects it, so I type it again, it autocorrects it again, it's like GRRRR do you not understand I do not mean that word!!???!!!?!

I just had a tourist emergency stop infront of me on a country lane.....to read his map!!
I really do not mind the emmets coming down, it is good for the county - but my God their driving is questionable!!!

No offence intended to Americans but I despise so many of the morals and parenting depicted on American shows, most commonly on lower budget ones. No idea if it's reflective of how things are but it drives me mad. There seems to be a trend where one person is labelled as good at the beginning of a show and another as bad, and no matter what good or bad things they do it's made out that the baddies are so much worse the whole time. Like Serena in Gossip Girl, who is the most spoilt and horrible character ever, yet she was the good one and poor Blair was always always the bitch. And Quinn/Shelby in Glee, and SJP in SATC who is literally the worst character ever. And often I think wtf at the parenting too. It always seems so lenient with stuff that matters but really strict about other things. Like oh you can't date til you're 18 but go ahead and be a spoilt little bitch and speak to me however you like!?!

Lol American here, and while I've never watch those shows I can say that, by what you've described, it's [sadly] mostly true. The values and parenting around these parts, these days, makes me sick. So many kids just grow up with the idea that they are so privilege to have whatever they want and if you get in their way they'll straight bitch you out. And on that note, the parents, if you dare say anything to them or their child about them being disrespectful, the parent will go off on you too. It's sad really. Has made me want to move countries to get away from it. Or if we can't do that, I'll just homeschool.

If that's true- and I have no idea never having stepped foot in the US- it's really sad. It makes me seriously angry seeing it on TV let alone if it's actually real life.

It really does depend on where you go. Some places are worse than other's of course. But, yea, it's pretty bad :nope:

It bugs me when people are reading things on a notice board by a door and they choose the exact moment to turn to go through the door the second I get to the door so we either go through at the exact same time shoulder to shoulder or I have to do a sudden stop so they don't bump into me

I mean this in the nicest way possible.....

People who have code breaks or admin messages in their signatures and don't fix/change them. I know it's petty but it just plays on my mind iykwin! Why??!! :flower:

Haha I second this. I do quality assurance for a living so things like that tend to really bug me, too!

I'm in a pretty shitty mood so I'm quite enjoying this thread... Just 2 things that really piss me right off:

People that eat noisily......please, just shut your mouth when you chew or don't eat you absolute pig!

People that park next to a car in a nearly empty car park....why the f**k do that?!!! :dohh:

Feel better now...... Thanks.

I also don't get why Lilypie signatures are set so that they continue up to like 100 weeks pregnant, annoys me so much! :dohh:
