What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

My coworker was JUST saying the same thing about her creamer. She brought it in last week. Used it once and today it's GONE! :grr: So messed up!

This spring they started trying out a "community shared coffee items" thing, where they post a board where staff list what they brought in towards the stash, and then someone else is supposed to bring it in the next time. Except its the same people who keep getting stuck bringing crap in. The rest just use it all without contributing. I don't bother anymore, I make my coffee drinks at home now to avoid the hassle of getting my stuff stolen.

ETA: geez, it sounds like I'm really bitter about my coworkers reading all that back, lol. I'm not really, but I do think for some reason people seem to lose all sense of etiquette when it comes to work property versus how they would handle something outside of work. Don't know why.

I'm totally bitter about my coworkers :haha: We had a similar type of deal - contribute a buck to the coffee stash whenever you could and it would go towards getting the community goods - that collection jar has gathered more dust bunnies than bucks since the second week. No one bothers. So no it's back to everyone bringing their own stuff in [or a few bringing their own and everyone else helping themselves too it ]

people who say 'ohh baby brain' as a excuse to act dumb. like really!!! so you put the milk in the cupboard instead of the fridge, when your pregnant is baby brain, but what about when you do it when your not pregnant? im sure most of us have done it pregnant or not!! simple mistake, not baby brain..

i LOVE the word crime video, although, i am probably guilty of some like the 'it's' part LOL i often do miss the apostrophys out, and probably do use 'it's' in the wrong sentence LOL oopps my bad i also wouldn't know when to say less or fewer...

I blamed everything on baby brain when my LO was small  I sent at least two people thank you cards with nothing written inside.
I am a bit of a scatter brain at the best of times, but it was just nice to have an excuse :D

I used "baby brain" for about two years to get out of texting/calling people back :haha:

I used that excuse a lot when mine were little, lol! It was pretty legitimate IMO though, because I am typically not that scatterbrained all the time. I was just so exhausted all the time when they were little, that those types of things actually WERE due to exhaustion from baby. Hence "baby brain".

sorry ladies i was on about when pregnant not with a baby LOL x

oh i hate it when i havent got enough spare change for custom fees .

It's really easy. If it is a number, it's fewer, if it's a volume it's less. For instance, there is less water in a cup than a jug, and there are fewer elephants on the planet than there used to be.

I went to my nan's earlier. She had put the toilet paper on the holder the wrong way round! Horror!

It also bugs me when the cashier starts putting through the next persons shopping before you have even finished packing. So from now on I don't pay until I'm all packed up :smug: lol thing is I don't even take long! Certain super markets are worse for this

Oooh this bugs me! Then sometimes the next customer will move up in front of the card reader too!

Ohh!! I third this being annoying. I hate it when they are trying to push you out of the way like you're just take all day to gather your things to go. I mean, really?! It's been 4.2 seconds since my transaction was complete. You can wait until I'm gone! :growlmad:

People who take my clearly labeled food out of the fridge at work and eat it with no remorse... like they went to the store, bought it and brought it in :dohh: Crazies, I tell ya!

I almost posted this on the work fridge when my single soda for the day (with my name on it!) got swiped when I was pregnant. I was SO PISSED.

I purposely wait. Or if it is some ejjit (not the cashier) trying to push in I slow down

Waiters asking if everything is okay with your food, two secs after you've been given it and you have a gob fulla food so can barely reply.

I have some friends who waitressed and said they would do that on purpose, lol! They figure if your mouth's full you can't complain. Agree, it's super annoying.

I totally agree. But on the other hand, when I have something to complain about, I'm usually just sitting there waiting!

I used to work in T.G.I Friday, and we were always told we had to ask within 5bites, so if anything was wrong, we could replace it quickly. I hated doing it, cos I hate it when it happens to me! Plus, when you have 8-10 tables all wanting drink refills, dessert etc, its almost impossible to get to everyone by 5bites!

I hate being asked if everything is alright with my meal. If it wasn't, I would have already gone up to the counter to complain!
