I live in canada...we use the chip...inserting the card in the bottom...but i still call it a debit machine some places you still need to swipe tho...and some you can just hover your card over the machi e and it magically reads it...no inserting required!

The machine I showed can also do both, most we use here use the insert card too, but some use the swipe one.

YES!!! I hate it when this happens! especially if I specifically asked for something, anticipating them forgetting it, and then they still forget it after I made a point to ask for it. Always seems to be dipping sauces get forgotten. I ask when ordering, and then again at the window. And they still forget half the time. I try not to leave the lot without checking first, but its still annoying if I have to go back in to get something I asked for.

Dh never checks. If he stops to get us something, I just figure its going to be missing items when he gets home because he just grabs the bag and goes.

Haha! I know! When we go to mcds for breakfast and i get the girls the hotcake happymeal, they will ALWAYS forget the hashbrowns! Its sooooooo annoying!

This happened to us recently, ordered a 5chicken selects meal from mcdonalds, and they only gave us 3. I was cross cos I was gonna share my OHs, so I called and complained haha. Apparently they keep a book, and took my name, what was missing, and said they'd give it to me free next time!

Its also really annoying when you go to a drive thru and they are out of half the items on their menu...We went to a KFC drive thru about a month ago. First tried to order grilled chicken breasts. They were all out of those. Then tried to order Honey BBQ sandwiches. All out of that. Tried rotisserie style chicken breasts. Out of that too....So then I had to just ask, what DID they have to order???? LOL. Just crispy chicken apparently. All out of everything else. How does that even happen? Needless to say, won't be stopping back at that location.

YES! What is wrong with people??? I could maybe see if it wasn't labeled and 2 people had brought the same thing not in a bag...but most times people have their items labeled with their name to try and prevent this. Doesn't stop people eating it or using it. I've brought coffee creamer to work many times, put my name on it, and literally got to use it one time and then it was all used up by everyone else. If it was a community creamer, it wouldn't have my name on it!

The last hospital I worked at had some employees who were HORRIBLE for taking other people's food from the fridges. I remember we had a Christmas potluck one year, had a few pies that hadn't even been cut into yet, so put them in the freezer for the next work day's lunch. The next day, they were completely gone! They had installed cameras in the lunchroom because it was getting to be such a problem, and the housekeeping lady had taken them home with her because one of the evening staff told her she was welcome to a piece. I guess by piece, she thought that meant the whole thing?

My coworker was JUST saying the same thing about her creamer. She brought it in last week. Used it once and today it's GONE! So messed up!
