When do you test?

Hope this is in the right forum, apologies if not, i didn't use bnb when ttc 4 years ago!

So as the title asks, when do you test? I used to be a total poas addict and i'm hoping this wont return

Do you test early or late? When i got my bfp the first time with maddi i held on till late, now i'm only a few days before af is due i'm i've finding waiting (as everyone does) hard!

do you have certain cd's you allow yourself to test from? are you guided through SS?

Personally I wouldn't test until at least a day after AF is due. I will be testing on 5 Feb and AF is due 2 Feb.

I think I would rather ponder about it than get upset at seeing a BFN and then kick myself about the expense of it all.
