when should i hand my notice in?

I'm not going back to work after maternity leave. I am having 12 months off for it, so when would o have to hand my notice in, could I wait until I've had 11 months maternity or would I have to do it at 8 months as the last 3 months maternity are unpaid anyway? Also would I be paid accrued holiday? Thanks x

yes you would get accrued holiday.How much notice depends on your contract,. But it maybe 8 weeks. But i would imagine you can give notice in your last 3 months as its then you would decide if you want to go back,
