Winter 2011/12 Team Yellowers - 2 pink, 3 blue

:yipee: Lilly!!! This is sooooooooooo the right decision honey, I promise you won't regret it! :happydance:

Yes it can be really frustrating when others are talking about their boy or girl... we had nothing gender specific.. just white & yellow clothes but within hours of him being born people were buying & sending the cutest little boy outfits for him that we were more than covered clothes wise - I mean, how many people are just waiting for an excuse to buy baby clothes :winkwink:

When I saw on FB that you wanted to go :yellow: I wanted to scream & shout that we'll do it together, but I couldn't as no one knows about Spud yet :haha:

Fx for you mrsraggle :dust:

Hi Ladies. Finally found this thread again.. My gf and I are both having our first babies within 2 months of each other- she is due sept 15th and I am Nov 20th. She is planning on finding out what the sex of the baby is. I love the idea of the surprise. I was sure my baby was a girl last week, this week I am leaning towards boy. It just makes the process that much more Exciting!!
How do you ladies plan on decorating the nursery?

Ah the nursery debate. It was easy last time as I had an idea what I wanted to do but this time I just don't know

This was Max's nursery (team yellow of course)

We've moved twice since then and he now has a blue room.

For this one I need some ideas and inspiration!

So Sweet. We are thinking of turquoise/blueish walls with white furniture. That way once the baby comes we can Accessorize with either Pink or navy/reds. Pink looks So cute, as does navy and red for a little boy! I plan to have the baby in our room for at least the first 2-3 months.. Lots of time to make it Really Girly or Really masculine..

This is George's nursery which of course we decorated whilst we were on Team Yellow with him. Went for a lovely bright & sunny Jungle theme. He'll be moving to his 'big boy's room' in the autumn to free the room up for Spud :cloud9:

Babyhopes2010

Mrsraggle, of course that's winter and you're an honorary member anyway from being on the original 2010 thread.

Congrats to you both

I'll add you both when I'm on my laptop xx

Mrs Raggle!! Did a little happy dance when I saw your post- so hope everything goes well for you!
Anyone freaking out about the birth? I didn't think I was too worried, but I had my booking in appointment and felt really nervous after that. Being back in the hospital brought up a lot of emotions- I didn't have a good experience with Emma, and really don't want to do it all again!!
And naming the LO is causing a few arguments! I really think I have a little boy, and we agreed on Micah for a boy. But lately I've really been loving the name Evan. Is that too similar to Emma??
Love to all, hope your pregnancies are treating you well!

TBH I am not thinking about the birth. last time I didn't even do a birth plan as I knew it was all going to go tits up and so this time I am just not thinking about it at all. I'll prob have to have an epi anyway because of my section so that's just fine by me.

You'll be fine hun. Each pregnancy and each labour are totally different and you'll just get on with it when it happens, I'm sure.

I think Evan and Emma go well together

Yep- definitely getting an epi early this time! It was the best part of the whole birth!

I love Evan. It's something I'd like if we have a boy, it goes well with Emma!

Pretty sure if I decide to VBAC they'll want me to have an epi, and that's fine with me!

Hi ladies - is this thread open to anyone?

I'm due 27th November - staying team yellow (although it's tempting lol)

Welcome Rhiana- it will definitely be rewarding in the end- team yellow is awesome!
