Wishing, wanting, waiting.....TTC for a year PLUS!

My new doctor, (who funnily enough is named doctor Vajaya, and whilst in the office I accidentally called him Doctor Vajayjay, and had him in hysterical laughter) didn't seem concerned about how its been 10 months I've been trying, he said "have more sex".
It's hard when DP and I have to be apart, him for work and me for study, and next year won't be any easier as I'll be doing more intense studying next year... But oh well.

Hiya Brillbride, nice to see new faces.

I love this what to be thankful for theme, it realy lifted my heart to think about all the good things in life and to be thankful for them.

bbdreams - that all sounds a bit confusing, I think I would like to have a few more tests before diving in to the IUI stuff. Our doc doesn't seem to want to do anything for us even though OH has some morphology issues. We are waiting till January as he told us to keep trying till the new year and if nothing happened then to go back. I get the feeling he is just hoping that we will get a bfp and he won't have to deal with the paperwork of referring us!!

got to go to bed, real busy day at work tommorrow need my beauty sleep.

catch up with ya all 2morrow x

hi ejay--im loving all the thankful theme as well...just reading your post---my DH has a morphology of 8%---but consultant wasnt worried at all as he had a great sperm count etc...but i was slightly worried!! what is your OH morph?

Brillbride - OH has a high count but only about 7-8% morphology it appears that the vast majority have no tails. My doc was a little worried but working out the maths it would seem like there are still a good number of little guys with tails. OH and I are starting to think that the guys without tails are blocking the way for the guys that can swim!

Well started spotting today, had a tiny bit over the last couple of days but more today, big red kootch monster due on Monday :growlmad: I would really like to know what causes this it seems to be every month now anywhere from 3 to 6 days prior to BRKM hitting.

Moon - I hate the more sex advice, as if we don't already know what makes babies!!

Off to work catch ya all later x

:hugs: Ejay -- if you figure out why you're spotting -- be sure to let me know! As I surely have no clue whatsoever. Have you had progesterone levels tested? I'm waiting for January 3, and hopefully she'll start testing my hormone levels soon after. It's incredibly annoying to spot for so many days prior. I feel sometimes like the SRKM is around more than it's not! GRRRRR!

Morning lovely ladies!!!!
I have missed you all so much <3
I have finally finished my report cards and had them proofread. They are done and dusted, printed and given to the deputy :) Thank goodness I can relax now. Only 2 weeks left of school and then holidays!! I rang the payroll office to find out how much holiday pay I am entitled to seeing as I was only on contract for half of the year. I will only be paid for 2 weeks out of 6!! That's bullsh*t!! I know it is better than nothing, but I should at least get 3 weeks considering I worked half the year, I should get half the holidays pay. I also find out today if I have a contract for next year today. I am really nervous because one of the other contract teachers who I was sure would get a spot next year was told she wasn't yesterday. I feel so bad for her because I know how she feels. I had the same happen to me last year at my old school. Gosh I hope they don't give me the arse today!! It is such a tough place to get a job teaching on the Gold Coast.

I loved reading your thanksgiving things you are grateful for, I am grateful I have such amazing cyber-friends. I have missed you so much, but the break has been good for me. I am onto cycle 13 now and I guess that means dh and I are officially classified 'infertile'. I am determined to be super relaxed from now on. I am going to leave my thermometer at home when he go on our holiday, gasp!!!! and have fun! Holiday in 27 days time!!!! Too bad I won't be Oing on holiday, I would be SURE to get a bfp if I was ;)
Ok, off to school for me. Wish me luck! Hope I come back with a job!!!
xox

OMG--ejay--you are the 1st person who i have met that has the same kinda SA as my DH---he has 8% morph and everything else is fine--brilliant count--dont know off hand.. we only had one SA done in April and funny enough i got pregnant that same cycle but MC..since then he has been on all the vitamins of the day etc........but we havent concieved since--hoping this cycle might get lucky........my DH had the mumps in adulthood so you can imagine my concern ..i have brought the matter up with my consutant time and time again and he brushes it under the carpet and is focusing more on me now---(currently waiting on MC tests) xxxxxxxx

hi soph--good luck on the job front---think its the same all over the world

Squirrel - had the 21 day progesterone blood work and apparantly it came back fine, I don't know what the numbers were though. I have asked my doctor on a number of occasions and he just shrugs his shoulders and says thats interesting. I would dearly love to know as I only started to spot like this on and off in the last 2 years, started off just for an odd month and I put it down to stress, now it's every month.

I promise you will be the first to know if I get any answers x

Brillbride - OH has only had the one SA done so far, we are going back in January, hopefully for further tests. I too put OH on man vitamins, was even suggesting adding super glue to the diet in the hopes it would stick the tails back on the little swimmers:haha:

Keep positive, I hope you get some answers from your tests x

Feeling very bloated tonight, had a tough day at work have taken myself to bed, trying to stay awake to watch True Blood.

Hope everyone is good x

Dr. Vajaya......

Thats his name!!!! Dr. Vajaya Belasunderam
(last name spelled wrong though)
He's from Thailand.
He's too nice a doctor though, to care about his name. Most people just call him Doctor V.J. He's got a really good manner with patients, and unlike my old doctors, he doesn't care about the stupid schedule. My old doctors, their idea of seeing a patient is, "get patient in, listen to patient for 2 minutes, don't properly address the MAIN reason patient is there, give prescription for something other than the main problem, get patient out within four minutes" which is stupid.

FF pegged me as having O'd 3 days ago, as I'm now 3dpo. Weird. A weird O then. I don't normally get weepy and stuff around the time of O, that comes closer to when periods are due. Hmmm, not sure about that. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Moondance, yay for a good doctor, they are hard to find.

I have a job!!!!! I'll be taking a 5/6 composite class and will have a buddy fromuni as my teaaching partner :) :) :) Me very happy. Going out to a Chinese restaurant tonight with my parents for their anniversary. Married 20 years, but together for 38!!

Ahhh yey soph!! that's fab news. Have a great time tonight.

hahaha moon your doc's name is funny. Glad he's nice.

Hi everyone else! Happy friday have a fab weekend.xxx

Hi Honey :hi:

Soph, thats how this whole bfp thing starts....with getting either a promotion or a new job!!! Thinking of you!!! :flower:

Moon, sooooo funny about your doctor!

I guess I am 3dpo and didnt even realize it. If FF is right, then I O'd 5 days before I was supposed to. Which is awesome! Holidays make me extremely tired so I didnt dtd more often like I had hoped to.....but I did 4 out of 5 days!!! Praying for a bfp for Christmas!!!
Funny thing is that I almost always get very strong O pains the day I O, I have not had any strong O pains whatsoever this cycle at all, I have very mild cramps in my ovaries that come and go but thats it. The cycle I got my bfp, I had noted light twinges in ovaries around O time, no strong ones.....hmmm?

My sister in law and family are coming down tomy house for 2 days, they will be here later today, so I have to get my arse in gear!!!

Love you all and Have a great day!!!

:dust:

I am throwing dust to you girls, it seems I have been flinging this shit around everywhere!!!

:dust:

Hi ladies! Thought I'd check in. I'm spending the Thanksgiving weekend up at my mom and step dad's house in Au Train, Mi. It's up on the shore of Lake Superior. The temps here are in the low 20s, and it's been snowing all night. It's a big adjustment from the 80 degree temps we are having at home!

Soph- Congrats on the job!

Moondance- I read your dr's name as Dr. Vajayjay too! I don't think I'd be able to not call him that!

I hope everyone is doing well. :)

Hiya Lucie! aww, I feel sooooooooo bad for you! :haha: j/k! I'm jealous of all of you in the warmer climates during the winter. But no thanks to the hurricanes, heat and humidity in the summer! Oh look, alliteration. Where's Jill, btw... :)

Lucie738210-
How did I not notice ever before that you are from SW Fl??? So am I???? do you mind if I ask where? We must be close!!!!! I'm in Cape Coral!!!! Jealous that you are having snow though for holiday-I haven't seen snow since 1996. : (

Hey everyone! I am jealous to of all these warmer climates. It snowed here today! Brrr... cold. I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving day whether you celebrate it or not. I am waitin on AF to arrived. I am in a decent place this month because I don't really have any expectations (not much anyway) because I did no temping, opk's, or anything else for that matter. We only bd'd a couple times when we felt like it. So, I am not expecting anything besides AF this month, but you know I would be over the moon if by a miracle of God I happened to have been blessed enough to have perfect timing. hehe :) Anyway, I am gonna go soak in a warm hot tub and relax for awhile. Goodnight everyone.

Titi I had no idea we were neighbors! I live in Lehigh Acres. I worked in Cape Coral my first year in Florida though.

As for the heat and humidity, my husband and I divide our summers between Michigan and Wisconsin, so we miss out on a lot of the hottest days. Hurricanes are a different story though. A little more than a month after I moved to Fl, I was in a house that took a direct hit from a Category 4 hurricane. Not fun! It was probably the scarriest moment of my life!

*blinks rapidly*
I got some of that babyduststuff in mah eye!!! Errr!!!

Wish I could find a job, but I reckon as soon as I did find one, I'd get pregnant and have to leave it and it would be stupid. Oh well, I have my study. It's not full time, but when I study, especially animal care, I study hard core. I find it such a fascinating subject, that I just study my brains out and do all my assignments so early.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling FF may not be accurate about my O date. Seems wrong to me. Not sure why I get that feeling, I just do... Might be because for whatever reason, at 4dpo, my temp has dropped below what it claims is my coverline.
At the same time though, I did have a very positive looking OPK at the same time, which is crazy as OPK's never work properly for me anyway... Hmmm... Guess I'll just wait and see.

ETA:
Just realised that I hadn't put in some particular information into my chart, like CM and stuff, so I put it in. FF has now dropped my O date BACK by 2 days. Before it had dotted lines because it wasn't sure, now its put in solid lines. O_O
Still, one of the temps is below the line on this variation too, so I'm not hopeful.
