Are you drinking through the night as well? You could test the first time you wake in the night if you've been sleeping for a good few hours and not drinking. I got my bfp with my DD at 10dpo, good luck!

I'm 7dpo today, I'm really going to try hold out until 10dpo for testing but ive read so much about people not getting positives of ICs until way after period was due and after frer etc showed positive for a few days. So I don't want to start testing to early, doubting the negative then going and buying more expensive ones anyway

How are yous feeling? I'm not feeling much other than that very specific pain at 5dpo, my boobs are achey but I think that's because we had alot of fun the other night with them I do have a log cabin weekend with another 4 couples mid February so I'm telling myself I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't happen this cycle. Bring stuck with all of those sober and not being able to get into the hot tub could be somewhat torturous

So I caved and took a test last night and there is a definite line for positive! .. faint but definitely there.. then I took one just now when I woke up and it’s still there but even more faint.. I’m very confused as to why it would be more faint than last night .. feeling panicked

I have heard of some people testing better with second morning urine. Was the first line pink? Fingers crossed for you!!

It was pink- Thanks for the tip on the second morning urine - I’m going to try that in a bit. I just wish it hadn’t gotten more faint - even if it had stayed the exact same I wouldn’t be so panicked!

Yes it (hopefully) will be- and the nerves are never ending- from the outside it always seems so simple and light.. now that we have been trying I feel the true weight of it — i feel silly obsessing so I try to distract myself but as the days go on it just takes my mind over

Congratulations Dreamer, that sounds really positive! Keeping my fingers crossed for everybody as they start testing!!

After the sudden appearance of EWCM on Sunday (and then disappearing again) I have no idea whether I am actually 5dpo now or much less than that... so no doubt I'll start testing on the internet cheapies much earlier than I should. Are they less sensitive than frer too?

I've had lots of cramps and odd sensations (but could be totally due to the odd cycle) - other than that I've had no symptoms. With EWCM going missing for most of the cycle too I'm preparing myself for a BFN this month at the moment.

I know i should be excited... but with the lines still being faint I'm still approaching with caution!
I did realize i miscalculated my DPO days.. so TODAY i'm 10dpo - i'm going to keep testing like crazy until that line either disappears all together or its nice and dark.
I feel dull cramping still, and my bbs are still quite heavy.. had more crazy dreams last night and a bit of night sweats --

I am trying to stay positive for my positive but the fact that it was more faint this morning (twice) than it was last night is making my mind go bonkers.
AF is due saturday for me, so im hoping that line will darken soon - i feel like all the information out there these days almost makes the panic worse sometimes

ashlee - i'm so sorry you went through that but i know plenty of women who had very healthy happy babies shortly after suffering a miscarriage. Dont forget how common they are - women are resilient, we are built for it!

and noodles - i felt the cramps and twinges quite often in the 5-8 dpo range - so keep your eye on the prize!

That's totally understandable Dreamer, I know I'd worry in the same position. But the tess are less than half a day apart so a slightly more or less sensitive test, slightly more or less diluted sample etc... it's definitely easily explainable. I hope the line gets nice and dark for you soon!

I appear today to be developing thrush... is it okay to use over the counter cream as normal in the 2WW?

welcome ash paul! the 2ww is VERY torturous - im currently questioning my vision and judgement on a first response early results pregnancy test - im at 10dpo now so its still sort of early.. but i just learned about evap lines and.. despite seeing a vague line on the 3 tests i have taken.. all within the 3-5 mins, the fact that they are SO vague is mental torture - they got darker as they sat.. but thats apparently what "evap lines" are...

my period is due Saturday and i feel like its been a year since the 2ww started... 5 more days...

all of the ladies in this chat have been superhero supportive so far! you found the right thread
