12dpo (or not).... Sharp pains lower right any advice am I out?

Hi ladies I haven't posted for a while as coming off bcp for last 7 months and cycles have been all over. Have been reading about all you girls though and fingers crossed for your BFP!

To give you an idea I came off bcp in June had a few periods then nothing for 4 months then eventually got my period 20th January for 5 days as normal, starting using ovulation strips and sure I had positive on Sunday 5th feb we bd on that day! Now today I am 12dpo (if indeed that was a positive on 5th feb) yest and today especially I have had pain in what feels like right ovary All day can hardly sit on my right hand side!
could this be implantation? (noting I didn't feel this pain last month before AF

I just done ovulation test incase this is what it was but line half as dark....

I have had BFN 9dpo, 10dpo, 11dpo and today

Other symptoms hungry last few days and really tired for the last week

I read a lot of girls had this pain around 12dpo and they got BFP a few days later should I test tomorrow???

Sorry for long post just with irregular cycles I'm not sure what to think!!!

Hi and welcome!!!
I would wait a few more days before testing, but that's because my AF likes to show up after I've already bought and used waay to many PT's. lol as for the getting 's at 12DPO, I would say that it does really depend on the length of your luteal phase, which you don't know because of your irregular AF's. Good luck!! and when in doubt, go visit your doctor for a Quantitative Blood test! :wave:

Thank you for your reply! Still having the pain decided to do the bad thing and google it went from pregnancy symptoms to eptopic pregnancy!! I'll give it a few more days. I saw one girl on here had same pains same day and got BfP two days later so my fingers are crossed same thing happens. How is your TtC going? Xxxx

thanks for asking, lol. long story short I'm driving myself insane! I am testing on the 21st because I should get AF on the 19th...but I've been having a lot of symptoms this month..but the worst one is insomnia. I have a link on the bottom of my posts that leads to my short journal if you wanna check it out it has all of my symptoms compared to my normal AF symptoms at the bottom of it. if not, no biggy. I hope it's not ectopic! I know there is a very low likelyhood of that, thank goodness! but it's a scary thought all the same. try not to stress about it. (easier said than done, lol)

If AF hasn't arrived, then you are most definitely still in with a chance! If possible, maybe hold off testing for a couple of days. Easier said than done I know! I'm 10dpo and really want to test, test, test, but am resisting temptation lol.

Hi Kmcgav I've had the same pains... They were mostly between 5-7 DPO. The best I can describe was like a poking pain in the lower right abdomen, like you said, where I expect my ovary would be?? I'm 11 DPO today. Fx for both of us!

Hi there unfortunately no I'm now 19dpo an still BFN however no sign of the with yet but don't think I can get BfP this late good luck to you though fingers crossed you get yours!!!! Let me know. Xxxxx
