1st birthday present

What do I get my friends little girl for her 1st birthday? I hate the thought of buying something that will be shoved in a cupboard with all the other useless or duplicate presents!!
She has a really large family, so she will be spoilt rotten already!! Help!

most children gets toys and too many of them maybe get a nice outfit or some shoes if shes started walking?
