Those pics are cute!!! I wish my kid did that.

Nightkd I am afraid of the same thing, I've pretty much always had a great night sleeper and nap taker so the next will likely kick my ass. As we speak he got up at 745am today and at 9am is down for a nap! I love it! This doesn't always happen but he's sick right now so I"m taking advantage of the extra sleep he needs.

Little Man sleeps well now but for the first 5/6 months it was awful ...... every 2 hours he was up in the night and he wouldn't nap for longer than 30 mins if I was lucky! We then found out he was intolerant too dairy & soya, since we cut those out he sleeps great!

7.30pm till 6am then naps 9.30 - 11.30 and 2.30 - 4/4.30pm

So what do you give him instead of those two things?

I expect my kiddo is getting sick... DH has had a bad cold, I've now got it... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Evey can avoid it...

She slept until 12pm today and just started saying 'Milka!' over the monitor...

he has a special formula (prescription only from dr's one), he has oat milk on his breakfast, a dairy free/soya free spread for his bread .... bread is the nightmare, I either make my own or get the part baked stuff as that doesn't have dairy or soya in. it is actually really difficult finding stuff too 'bulk him out' his dietician actually tells me too give him more cakes and biscuits (homemade too ensure they contain no dairy or soya) just too get more fat into him. it's difficult but well worth it, he is a totally different baby now, so happy and pain free

Awww hope Evey doesn't get sick!!! Too many sick babies around here these days :nope:

hope all these sick babies get well soon, and hope everyone elses babies stay away from any illnesses :hugs:

Mine is getting over being sick poor thing.

Thats great that the diet change worked. My little man is going to be tested for Celiac (run's in my dh's family) and I am scared it's going to come back positive cause it means a huge life style change. My little guy is also quiet small, well tall but thin he's 31 inches and only 20 pounds at over 13 months. He hasn't gained any weight in a few months and has had diarrhea more often then not for the past 4 months  which means we're constantly fighting bum rash and trying to fatten him up!

oh no :( My little man is finally starting too gain weight (almost 17lb yay) he would poop 6/7 times a day it is was just slime! now it's alot better having cut dairy & soya out, it just means I always have too plan ahead with meals and make everything from scratch, which I pretty much did anyway, but it was eye opening! they put milk powder in EVERYTHING as it is so cheap, even some ketchup has milk powder in! I breast fed him till be was 10 months old so I had too cut it out of my diet too as it would pass over too him in my milk.

I hope your little one's testing goes ok :hugs:

Me to! Does anyone here know if it's normal for babies not to digest whole peas? When Skyler poops after having peas, whole peas come out his bum, I expect this from kernel corn but didn't think peas would do it to?

Button, his poops can be clay like but rarely! They are mostly super soft with some small forms/lumps or liquid and mucousy. I just collected two stool samples and have to take him to get his blood taken soon, yay me! I don't know how long the referral process will take but it was the GI specialist that asked for the blood work and stool samples and they did that in less then a week so maybe it won't be so bad. I just don't know how much longer I can take all this poop and bum rash for. Skyler poops 6-7 times a day most days to and normally never less then 4 times.

his poop sounds very much like how little mans was :( it got to the point he would poop so much that he started pooping blood ...... now that was scary!

I really hope his testing goes ok, poor little man of yours, it is horrible isn't it :hugs:

just remember though that if you do find you need too cut something out his diet it can take up too 4 weeks before you see any improvements at all as they need too get it all out of their systems. Does he have any other issues with it?? Little Man has awful eczema because of it ..... awful too the point his face looked like it was covered in burns at one point :( and the tummy cramps made him scream so much at times, his tummy would literally go solid as a rock :(

No he doesn't seem to have stomach cramps or any skin irritations except a bit of dry skin from the wiping of his bum and all the creams, which is why I doubt it could be an allergy and maybe more a virus or intestinal bug that need antibiotics. We took him off dairy for a month and gave him soy and had no change. If he does have celiac when you switch the diet it resolves the diarrhea quiet fast but I can't put him on the diet until I know thats what it is otherwise when they test him it'll come back false negative due to lack of gluten in his system.

the protein of dairy & or soya are very very similar so if it was a dairy allergy and you replaced with soya then you wouldn't see a difference as such, you generally find if they are allergic too one the they are allergic too the other also

I really hope you get answers soon :flower:

I guess so but he shows no other signs ie tummy cramps etc.

What is "the beatings will continue until moral improves" from? A friend of mine used to say that all the time and it's been AGES since I seen/heard it!

my hubby has it on a t shirt from a island in the caribbean .... I think it is some kinda pirate saying lol

Alia pooped out whole peas yesterday :haha:
A lot of food babies eat doesn't get digested fully since their system is so small
