OH is stressed with work stuff. Employees suck. He has been well and truly screwed over and is gutted.

I am so pissed off again. Alex is currently screaming again. Wont go in his cot for the 4th night on trot so he has been picked up put down each time he drops off but starts again So tired of it. He used to be so good and now I am at the end of my tether again.

I think so and he is cutting more teeth. But still my patience is wearing thin. He literally screams like a high pitched banshee to get picked up. We have travel cot up in living room. He is up again, had another 3 times pick up put down and now crying stopped he is just looking at me. Think it may be another calpol job tonight

In my news, my belly has popped out overnight. I walked into work today and the assistant manager's eyes nearly popped out of her head coz I had a bumplet beneath my work shirt!

In other news here: My BIL has been seriously screwed over by his GF. She's approx 5 weeks behind the dates she should be and screwing £££ out of him left right and centre. I'm gutted for him, because there IS a baby, but she's lied so much he can't trust her so the relationship is pretty much doomed and then she threatens abortion any time they argue etc (even though that's illegal here nad she'd have to travel to mainland to have it done). I've never even actually met the girl but I think I might like to slap her when I do.... admittedly BIL is a twat for getting himself into this situation in the first place, but I still feel for him too.

eta: that sounds awfully judgemental, I don't mean it to be... it's just he takes no responsibility for his own health etc since he would openly say he doesn't protect himself with any of the girls he's been with (and there have been MANY)...

Debz... let me get this right... she lied about being pregnant? and then when he already thought she was pregnant she went ahead and fell pregnant? (If she's behind by 5 weeks?) or did she say she found out at 10 weeks when really she was only 5 weeks? Either way...sounds awful and you had mentioned that you thought it all might go tits up... and it has!

There had always been that doubt in everyone's minds about it all as she wouldn't tell BIL about appts and things... very evasive, and noone was actually supposed to know, only him and her....

OH is very upset and we had a miserable evening. I was going to start a thread about it as it's quite long, but will try a spoiler (which I've never done before!) so I don't take over the whole thread

My OH has been out in the field, working 60 hour weeks. Out for 12 hours a day and under a lot of pressure and stress. He left the running of the office to his office manager, who has been with us since we started the business earlier this year. Anyway, things started going really badly at the office - targets were nowhere near being met, staff not performing - is was a mess. So, after doing a bit of digging, we found out that the manager was telling fibs about the hours she was working - i.e. she was saying she was in 9-5 but was actually just popping in at lunchtime for twenty minutes. As she was on an hourly rate, she was obviously getting paid for a full day. So, OH asked about a bit and found out that she's dating a junkie. To cut a long story short, it then became blatant that she was using too, and so he sacked her.

I went into the office last weekend to try and sort some of the paperwork out. I was in there for two hours - it was a fucking shambles. Then I noticed that she'd moved her PC around so the other staff couldn't see what was on the screen. I decided to go through the internet history and nearly fell off my chair. She had done no work for WEEKS - had been sitting watching porn (and not your run of the mill stuff either ) and trawling the web for sex. She had her profile on several sexual contact sites, complete with graphic photos of her genitalia - double . So, I cleaned it all up, jaw on the floor all the while.

Cut to today. OH is now running the office himself. It means he's home a lot more which is great.... but he found out yesterday that the manager had been sending the staff all home early, but getting OH to pay them overtime for hours they hadn't done OH was working a 60 hour week but not drawing a wage himself, just to make sure the staff were all paid and that the business stayed afloat. I am so angry and upset that not one of them came forward and said anything. We have a toddler and a tiny baby who missed their daddy

OMG Lu....OH MY GOD!

Well one good thing is he's found out about it all now so he can take control and move forward... but HOW AWFUL to be put through something like that! Sounds like not a single member of staff is trustworthy! What has this world come to???

Well Katie - I'm not sure you could call it flirting!! Honestly, it was GROTESQUE! She's got pictures of her foof on her profile, and in her tag line asks "Why are men only after one thing? I want a man to wine and dine me!" Well stop showing them your fanny straight away you skank! There's also this chart thing where you put how 'into' various sexual stuff you are - she'd ticked 100% water sports Strap ons and all sorts of other hard core stuff. I feel like a prude and I swear I'm not, but fuck me, the stuff she was looking at was VILE.

I didn't know what to call it to be honest!!! Lol!! Sounds bloody awful! Your OH needs to get legal advice on the other members of staff who have taken money for hours they have not actually done! I would want to be sitting them down and saying all jobs are now on the line as business is going under because of this scandal so who is willing to work for the money already given or who wants to walk. Obviously I don't know what can be done but he may have a criminal case against the staff!!!
