Thanks Cat... I know you think once you get this far along that it's just a waiting game to take your baby home... it hit me hard because her EDD is the same as mine, it makes me glad to still be suffering the hyperemesis and random aches and pains...

yep...you go through all the worry before 12 weeks and forget that anything could happen at any time!

Do you know if this was due to placenta previa? poor lady!!

Cat it was placenta abruption from what we know. I had placenta previa but thankfully mine has moved but it totally freaked me when I bled heavily bright red from 14 - 20 weeks!!

Got letter from hospital yesterday telling me jack has eye specialists tomorrow, got another today saying we will be up to 2 hours and see 3-4 health professionals. Now I'm really worried. Coupled with the fact that the GP assurred me she wasn't doing an urgent referral but we only saw GP on 6th, that is less than 21 days for appointment

Katie.. I believe his pupil (??? or other part of the eye) goes heart shaped in the sun. I think... I read it in Claire's journal about 3 weeks ago when she took him to see the Dr! So I might have a lot of that wrong!!


Claire... at least you know you should get some answer with that many people having a look at him!!

Yes cath thanks you got it right, his pupil isn't round it has a flat edge at the top in mild light and ranges to a heart shape in bright sunlight

We re-potted Abbie's strawberry plants (that we've grown from seed - go us!) AGAIN this afternoon! They were supposed to be miniature plants of some sort but they're looking pretty regular sized to me that'll leach me for letting 10 of em prosper rather than the recommended 3!
