8 weeks or less and here we come baby!:)

I'm 22 and OH is 20 (my wee toy boy ) We've been together a year and a half, have a house and dog, so thought, why not complete our little family. Suffered a loss last may but it only brought us closer together and more determined to have a child.

I predict our little man will arrive 10th June (edd 5th) and will be 7lb 8oz. I'm also hoping for a natural birth so will see how that goes!

We had our offer accepted last October, so we had a lot of waiting around until a chain was established and then we had to rush to get everything through before our mortgage in principle expired. We recently found out that our lease here will cost more than 10k to extend. Luckily we got an offer that covered all our fees so we break even. Just a shame we won't have the rental income coming in, but in the long run it will be too expensive to keep.

Just to introduce myself to the ladies here who don't know me, I'm 28 (29 next mth) and hubby is 31. We've been together 7 yrs and will celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 5th June and expecting our first child on the 7th June. In terms of guesses I think:

DOB: Baby will be here at 39 wks. I feel a strange draw to the 31st May.
Weight: A smallish one - 7lb 2oz
Hoping for a water birth
I'm team yellow and really unsure, everyone thinks it's a boy though but I'm not sure.

I have been big bumped (lol) for ages.
Its getting so exiting now 7weeks till full term and 10weeks till due
how you getting on with moving?

we are moving on friday its so tiring packing and moving at this stage isnt it? esp with really hot weather and two kids too,

I think we are watermelons from 37 weeks or so. I cant believe we have over 2 months to go before baby is out!

I need to get my finger out and go shopping. Have bought a bath thermometer from Amazon this week but thats about it. Oh my angelsounds monitor thingymajig came in the post. Looks quite good but I cant be arsed plugging it in to try it out so its still in the box! x

Notnic, I would rather not get that big because Im not sure my hips and back can take much more weight but I want baby here asap so the sooner I become a watermelon the better! x

I've came to a stand still on baby buys. Went a bit mad I think recently, so saving up a little more money to do the last of the baby shopping with my friend who is due the same week as myself. I have been so lucky though as I have been given so much baby stuff I have very little to buy now.

It's been nice relaxing though and starting to make some baby things myself. I say relaxing but what I really mean is going to the kitchen to make a brew and staying there for 20mins bleaching worktops that have already been cleaned x

Bumpwise! I can cope with being that pregnant weekswise!

We're lucky that we don't need to leave our current flat until early May so we can decorate the house and move in gradually. We do want to be out by mid April though if we can. So far packing is going quite well.We've also been clearing and sorting stuff out for the last few months, and I think that's the hardest bit! I've set myself a target of two boxes a night.

I hate the packing, unpacking and actual moving but im glad to be moving this week. i will be just over 30weeks when i move in so im keen to get unpacked, cleaned and sorted and organised for the baby

When are you planning on starting buying your labour/hospital stuff?

Next appointment is the 10th April. I've started to do the hospital bag already. I've only bought basic bits, but I really wanted to have it ready soon so that I don't have to scrabble around all the boxes in labour, trying to get everything together! How about you?

Anyone else have to get the anti D injection? I'm getting it on thursday and will have to go on my own as OH is working, not looking forward to it

Wow you getting your hospital bag sorted already, I'm gona start buying stuff about 34-35weeks then start packing about 38weeks? lol and that is early for me lol just cos i always go over it.

My next app is 13thn april i'll be 32weeks +1 it was supposed to be 6th april but they are closed that day
then 30th april 34+5 after that at hospital x

I've got 3 lists lol... Things for baby, a hospital bag for baby and a hospital bag for me.

I haven't actually bought the bags yet though Will pm my lists tomorrow from the other computer x
