8 weeks or less and here we come baby!:)

I remember Admiral. I hope this weekend is drama free. Stacey - hope you have a good one too. I'm hoping for a quiet one myself. OH wants us to go for dinner with friends on Saturday. I know it's mean but I just want to stay in doors for a change!

Congrats on becoming a squash Iamblessed, Hope your hubby is ok and on the mend :hugs:

Liking the updated thread name, just puts into perspective how close we all are. I don't know how everyone else is feeling, but time is going by for me so fast now, I'm loving all the different kicks and rolls and being able to now tell which part of our wee man is which lol. Hope everyone had a nice weekend, the weather has been lovely here today so it was the perfect excuse for a nice walk and lots of ice cream :happydance: xx

Well my bubba has decided to change position. Grrrr. He was head down at my last appointment but has shifted. Ive never felt movement on my left, only my right but Im not getting movement on both so I think he might be transverse. Would that make sense as to where Im getting movement?

Hows everyone doing. Cant believe Im 30 weeks tomorrow. Feels like a bit of a milestone as its a nice round number!

IAB, hope hubby is on the mend?

Hows the rest of us doing?? Hope everyone well. Im enjoying the sunshine. 3 days on the trot must be a record for sunny scotland!! x

Helllooo! How are you and your hubby now Iamblessed?

I have lots to update you on. We got the phone call that our travel system (iCandy Strawberry) has arrived so we need to arrange delivery for that. :happydance: We should also be getting the keys to our new house on Thursday (which seems very surreal) and someone made an offer on our flat today so we may be able to sell that rather than have to rent it out. I've also started the big pack and putting my hospital bag together, so I'm feeling very efficient right now.

Pip is getting very fidgety at the moment. When it moves I can feel limbs which creeps me out a little. :D We've also tried playing it music and getting OH to talk and feel my bump to try to interact with Pip. The cats are loving my bump and they sit as close as they can, purring away. Pip gets excited when they are near and wriggle and kicks in response to their padding. OH doesn't have the same effect unfortunately. As soon as he puts his hand on my bump Pip freezes like it's playing musical statues! As soon as he moves away again Pip starts to kick again. Poor hubby is starting to get the hump - but it makes me chuckle. We joke that when Pip is here, if we can't get him / her to settle hubby can go in and put his hand over the cot and magically Pip will calm down. :D

Has anyone else had a good weekend?

Loving the name change Iamblessed, and Sunshine I'm loving the weather too. Don't want to be in work though. I just want to go home and eat a twister in the garden!!

Also I was thinking - do any of you have any predictions about the date your baby will arrive and the approx. weight? I've seen a couple of threads in 3rd tri and thought it would be cool if we made the same predictions and we can look back and see who is right. Can you believe we're around the 30 week mark yet? Almost single digit weeks! xx

We're in the house and enjoying it, but still have some unpacking to do. MIL has offered to bring a troupe in to organize (consisting of FIL and BIL who is not working right now), but it makes me feel a little inadequate. I've accepted the help though, as I really don't feel like I have it all together and time is running out. I want to paint the nursery next weekend, but the ceiling was coming apart at the drywall seams and so FIL had to fix it and still needs to do one more coat and a thorough sanding before we can paint.

DH is stressed out and has kind of emotionally checked out on me, so to speak. I told him last night that I need him now more than ever, and that he cannot just check out and distract himself with video games right now, that I need him there for us. I understand that he's trying to pack in as much "me" time as he can before he will no longer have much of it, but I need the support right now.

I visited my parents back in my hometown and had a lovely baby shower. I helped with much of it, but so did my mother's MA (Mom is an OBGYN nurse practitioner). I also had a free 3D/4D Ultrasound and a DVD made for me thanks to Mom's friends at the office! I don't have my scanner hooked up yet so I can't share pictures of the baby and Mom's still learning how to send me pictures off her camera so I haven't got pictures back yet of the shower and my progressing bump.

There were some problems with my OB doctor -- he doesn't seem to be taking my mal-absorption issues seriously from my gastric bypass -- but I think it's far too late in the game for me to change it up. I'm confident he'll be fine for the end-game though. I've been taking iron because I'm pretty convinced that I was anemic (he wouldn't do more frequent blood testing for me) -- I was extremely pale, gaunt and fatigued with really dark circles under my eyes. I've only gained back about 4 lbs since January, but that's okay with me. I'm not losing any more. I have a scan next week to check on growth (30+ week mark).

Sometimes I really want to start my mat leave at work now, but it's hard when your MIL is the boss; I feel like I'd really be leaving her in a lurch. So I'm doing the best that I can right now, working some shorter hours.

Hi Everyone...hope we can put the little fall out i had with some of you behind us we are all super hormoanal ;-) lol

Sunshine i get that too, i would get most of my kicks down really low since 16weeks and the odd thump in the middle and top of my belly but for past few days it all been in the middle and top of belly i feel movement, i get movement and lumps coming out 2 different places at once normally each side of my belly :haha: but i also get the odd bit of pressure lower in my tummy so i have no clue how he is lying lol. lust all over the place atm:haha:
He must be running out of space though, dont get rolls or tumbles any more just massive kicks and limbs and lumps coming out all over my tummy and its brillant just watching movement as its so big now and you see lumps coming out i love it :cloud9:

I have the physio tomorrow, didnt see the point in going but oh says i should go so i will, can't believe 3days till 30weeks :happydance:

I am suffering with the heat though, its so hot need to get oh to buy me some fans lol. ps have had heartburn past few nights made me sick couple nights ago :o

I am moving house on friday so im looking forword to that and getting the house organised for the baby :happydance:

Sorry to hear about your hubby i am blessed hope hes on the mend soon.
hope everyone else is well? xx

The heat doesn't bother me at all. In fact I shut some of the windows yesterday as it was getting a bit chilly in doors! Then we were in Egypt 4-5 weeks ago and I layed in the sun all day without getting irritated, so perhaps I was a cat in a previous life!!....

I do find it irritating to lay on my sides at the moment. Pip kicks me hard when I do and my skin hurts like I'm being stretched.

The weather here is going nuts. One day it's 25C, the next day it's 4C (today). Poor blooms don't know what to do.

Hi everyone. McSmyth led me to your thread. I hope that you don't mind. I just signed up on this site and have had a wonderful experience in the past two hours. :) I am a Mommy of an almost 9 year old boy, and I am currently 29 with boy #2! I cannot wait to meet him, neither can his big brother or Daddy! I made my first post about some anxieties and issues I was having and McSmyth was beyond wonderful! It is nice to see such a supportive group of women all in one place! How wonderful! I was on a different forum, but everyone was so bitchy to everyone else... reminded me of highschool... or a witch hunt. Lol. I hope that I am not invading your personal BnB space too much! Congrats on the LO's everyone!

Sorry for the late reply hun, I only just now saw your post!
Welcome to the thread, get some pics up and keep us all updated on how you are :)

Thanks for the mention aswell, and if ya ever need to talk feel free to pm me anytime. Hope you're feeling a little better now xx

I am loving the weather too! With my first pregnancy everyone worried me saying I wouldn't be able to stand the heat, my daughter was born in July but I was completely fine. Been to the park today!
My weekend in York was drama free! We just didn't discuss the subject. Lol! Had a lovely Italian meal and my twin sister actually gave me lots of clothes from my nephew so that's pretty good.
This weekend is baby weekend, we are painting and getting organised packing the hospital bag! Been nesting like crazy the past couple of weeks, the house is sorted just need to tidy garage at weekend too!
Glad your all doing well. Can't believe how many of you are moving or have moved! So exciting! Xx

Im sorry, I missed your post too and only just seen it when McSmyth replied. I think you get bitchiness no matter which forum you are on as some people are just that way inclined but thankfully there arent many people like that on BNB. I hope you are feeling better now and please know that we are all here to support you whenever you need it. :hugs: x

Glad you had a drama free weekend hun. I was in York a few weekends ago with OH for a wee birthday treat. I love it there! Long may the sunshine continue! x

 I thought this said you wanted to go home and play Twister in the garden. Can you imagine! I would never get up again!!

Cant believe how quickly your house move has happened! Exciting stuff. Its good that you might get your flat sold. I decided to keep my other property and rent it out as a bit of nest egg instead of selling because I wasnt convinced Id get market value for it. Keep us posted!

Have any of you bought any classical music for bump yet? I love classical anyway (nothing too heavy though) and have quite a few CD's in the house but some of it is quite full on. Ive had a look at quite a few baby classical CD's but there are so many Im not sure which one to go for so any recommendations would be good. Im thinking Vivaldi/Mozart type stuff thats quite soothing rather than "moving" IYKWIM.

Serenity, I hope you get more energy soon. Im on iron as well and anaemia certainly takes it out of you doesnt it! Glad your shower went well. I think its only fair that you get OH to help you out just now. My OH does practically everything these days when he gets home from work as he knows how tired I get despite not doing very much during the day. This baby making surely takes it out of you!!!

Speak soon all. xx

MandnMs-Welcome to my thread and hope you enjoy it here. These are a great bunch of ladies and we are always here to support and help you and one another. Please feel free to speak your mind or share something special or post your bump and anything else you would like. Let us know a little more about you and ladies I think we should all tell a little bit about ourselves so we all kind of get to know each other a little more and MandnMs can get to know us a bit better too! Mcs-thank you for bringing us another lovely lady to speak with:) So I will start I am Iamblessed ,I have 8 kids and am pregnant and have had 4 losses. I am married and I live in the U.S. and I am 40 years old. I have 4 special needs children and love them all very much . If there is anything I can do to make you more comfy here please let me know MandnMs! Also someone had a suggestion to make a guess when we are having our babies and how big so I am going to guess I will be having my little girl at

1.39.5 weeks
2.She will weigh 6#'s 3 oz.
3. She will have medium colored hair and blue eyes
4.She will be 19 3/4 in. long
5.Her head will be 13 in? cm? around

You can also if you are team yellow can guess what gender!

I haven't played classical but play songbird by Eva Cassidy over and over. Bit soppy but did same for my girl and whenever she cried as a baby I would play it and she would stop immediately! Amazing!

I am 26 and my husband is 28. We met in a kebab shop after a night out on new years eve 6 years ago and we have been married for 2 1/2 years. We have a gorgeous girl, 20 months old and she absolutely adores babies so she will be so excited when her brother arrives!

My guesses are that my boy will arrive on the 7th June, edd 13th and he will weigh 7lbs 5oz

Xx

Im 39 and OH is 41 and this is our first (decided in September to start trying and one solitary attempt did the trick!) I predict my bubba will be born on the 19th June (my due date is the 5th - I reckon Ill go overdue to the point of needing to get induced but hope Im wrong!) I think its a boy and reckon he will be about 7.5/8 lbs. x

Admiral, Im having songbird to walk down the aisle to when I get married. Havent set a date yet as bubba delayed things but I know what song Im having! :)

Aww sunshine we had that song when playing when we were signing the register at our wedding so it does mean something to me to play to them both! Another thing we have in common is that we conceived first month of trying after we got married! Lol! Second month this time! Xx
