A home for EVERYONE!

lol ok! No fever is good at least! did you try that pink crap? calomine lotion? that might help.

Misty, my next appt is Jan 3.. gender scan woo!!

Janelle - Oh man sucks when everyone is sick!!! Esp while prego!! I feel for you!!! Oooo but maybe you will get an early gender scan!!

Nicole! Sorry the rash is getting worse! Yeah sounds like dr might be in order.

Loren - Ah glad the puking has lessened!! And hoping for a healthy baby at your next dr visit!! HA, I decided to learn to crochet while prego with Siena... ended up giving the project to my mom! I was messing it up! So she redid it. I did do a lot of squares for a blanket and just never put them together... maybe if this next one is a girl, I can finish that at least.

Krissy - Yeah not the same when DH gets sick as when we do! If I get sick, Siena gets sent to stay with MIL if I can't handle her! Man you are BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!

Afm... DH is still sick with shingles... but we are coping ok at the moment! I am learning how to take the load off of myself some by buying more pre-made foods or taking Siena out to eat... trying to nap on wknds when she naps so that I don't have to go to bed when Siena does. Weekdays are harder since no naps. But work is less tiring than entertaining her at least!

Hey ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA. I apologize and I understand if you are mad/upset with me :(
I will try to catch up. I think I have about 10 pages.

I think I am having a side effect from taking vitex. I have been taking it now for two weeks and 2 days and I got this, what appears to be, rash on my side (as it curves around to your back). I did some research and a rash is a side effect. Most people said they did not stop taking vitex but rather the rash decreased as time went on. I told my db that I would rather deal with the rash, if it is not going to be too serious, in hoping that it will help with my cycle, rather than stop the vitex. what do you ladies think?

A little over a month away for my gynecologist appointment. If he tells me to stop taking it, by guaranteeing his remedy will help, I will.

How is everyone? Again, I will catch up. Sorry for my absent behaviour.

I have a rash as well. My first thought was shingles but my mom and sister don't think it is. I have about 8 bumps, different sizes, all in one area. The area is red and a little swollen. The weird thing is, I have a sore pain in my armpit area too. Stressful :(

Morning ladies!!

Loren, it's nice to hear from you!! Dan's Grandma is a knitting expert!! Too bad you don't live closer, she would be the best person to talk to. She's always trying to get me to knit, but I'm afraid if I start she wont ever let me stop. LOL Keep us posted on your scan. I'm so jealous, I WANT A SCAN SO BAD!!!

Krissy, Where the hell have you been? In all of this absence, have you at least found some time to 'practice' making babies? Dan's rare. When I'm sick, I just sleep with one eye open and take care of Samuel until he gets home. Then he cleans the house, cooks dinner and cares for Samuel while I sleep.

Libby, I've been really tired lately, more than usual. I'm also hungrier. It's weird. I can't imagine shingles and how much that must suck. You're the super mom!

Alright, so I took a bump picture last night while I was freezing my ass off. I was laying in front of the fire because my feet were really cold and for some reason, you can see a more prominent bump when I'm laying down, rather than when I stand. SO, here it is.

Aspe!!! I've missed you SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! I could never be mad or upset with you. :hugs:

If the rash isn't bothering you, I would continue to take the vitex. Other than the rash and the sore armpit, how are you doing? How's the weather where you are? It's warm here, but we're suppose to get a small storm tomorrow. We'll see. It's good to hear from you!

Janelle....ohhh myy goodness :) look at your baby bump :) do you take week by week photos, like personal photos?

Janelle..no, the rash isn't really bothering me. A little itchy from time to time. So, you think keep taking it? That is what i was thinking too. I am so curious if and how fast vitex will kick in (i.e. Like will i have af this month, seeming i just had it last month).

I am doing alright, been really busy. I live in one of those places where one weather station says rain and another says snow but we really get wind lol..no wonder it is so easy to get sick. One night you got to open the window, the next turn on heat. We have some snow from time to time, but all gone now.

How are you? Your family? Your baby?

Aspe, I don't take weekly pictures, I might take more when I get farther a long, but eh... I doubt it. LOL.

I live in an area where it says 90% chance of rain and it never rains, but will say 30% rain and it will dump snow. Maybe we should get some new weather people!

We're all doing well. Just getting over being sick. Samuel has got a SERIOUS appetite now that he's feeling better. He ate more food than Dan and I last night. It was crazy!
I'm guessing all is well with the baby, but I won't know until I get an ultrasound. All my lab work came back good. :) So, that's a good thing. I'm pretty optimistic at the moment. So, I'm not too worried.

Have you noticed any other promising changes besides the rash and armpit pain?

Hi aspe! I agree with janelle we are just happy to hear from you! NEver mad! :hugs: if i was you i would just deal with the rash and wait and see what the dr says. i know in canada it can seem forever to get to be able to see a specialist so i am happy your appt is not too much further away!

Janelle um yeah i am texting you lol oh and LOVE the bump thank you!

Ok i thank god everyday i got a good job but some days i just dont feel like working but i put my big girl panties on and do it.....we are looking forward to finding our own place hopefully soon!

Krissy..some days I wish I had another job as well.

Janelle..the rash and armpit pain sounds promising? You know what else, I thought I had a pimple, but I think it is a cold sore, and I never get cold sores :(

I agree with new weather people.lol..every year they say this is the year we get the most snow, but it never happens lol..Dan, Samuel, and you all had the flu the same time? That had to be rough. Glad you all is feeling better and that your lab work was great :) your almost halfway there already. Time sure does fly.

Aspe, I don't know if the rash and armpit pain is promising, but it's the only symptoms you said you had. Wasn't sure if you had an increase in EWCM or cramping or anything. Was just curious.

Aspe-we have a saying in michigan if you dont like the weather wait five minutes cuz it is bound to change!

Ok some other exciting news i wanted to share. i know i have told you guys that josh has been kind of wishy washy about wanting another baby but a few days ago we were going over his insurance options for work and he actually asked me which one would be a better choice for pregnancy and if i can get full time at work then i can get insurance and would that work good for us.....this is the first time in forever that he actually talked about getting pregnant in the near future made me very happy!

Janelle..lol..(and I refer to myself) .. Blond moment lol
No ewcm or cramping. I haven't been checking my cervix because it always had me wondering

Krissy.....that's awesome :)

Krissy, are all of your kids going on his insurance as well? I LOVE Dan's insurance. We just got a notice in the mail that they are changing the plan. We had the "cheap" plan, but it looks like we're going to get another option and our cheap plan might turn into the more expensive one. I'm hoping not.. We'll see..

Janelle- no the kids will stay on the state insurance as they let me. I really dont like either options they have. cheapest is 500 deductable for family (or even empoly +1) but then they cover 80% but only up to $10,000 per person per year. so if i do have a baby no way would that cover my whole pregnancy plus a csection. also for josh and i it is $60 per paycheck (biweekly) if it has kids to it would be $95. the more expensive one is $2500 deductable (also even if it is just employ +1) and after the deductable they cover 80% untill yearly amount of $11,000 is reached then 100%. that would cost us $100 for me and josh biweekly or $150 for all of us. no way could we afford to put the kids on that one and the other just seems stupid to have for kids. all i have to do is show the state that neither is good for the kids or too expensive they can stay on the state insurance. when i do get pregnant i can get state insurance to pay what ours does not cover hopefully so we shall see.

Oki got to get my butt in gear and get ready for work and get the chilli in the crock pot for dinner later. have a great afternoon ladies!

Krissy - Yay for pregnancy talk!! Yeah would be good if the insurance had a separate way to handle pregnancy... mine is free... as in I don't have to worry about co-pays and deductible like with everything else.

Aspe - I think Nicole was also dealing with a rash??

Dude we have a Home Goods store now and WOW on the prices!! They happened to have the TWO crib bedding options I had been mulling over on target.com.... for half the price!! And I was so lucky because there were only like maybe 6 bedding choices there... so that was cool! Especially since target only sold it online. So I will hold onto the one I got and wait and see if I am having a boy... because more for a boy. Trying not to go all out on bedding like I did with Siena. We spent an atrocious amount of money on her room!

In that case..

I'm calling you out Nicole...help? Lol
