A Thread for Rainbow Baby Mommies! (Graduated from TTC and PG!)

Krippy- We lost our son Joshua almost 2 years ago. He was 17 months old. He swallowed a lithium camera battery and we didnt know it. He started throwing up uncontrollably and then 2 days later he was dead.

Ex- I just noticed you are baking baby #2...A massive congrats!

Army...I am so sorry for the loss of your son. Thinking of you and your family. That must bring back some horrible memories and feelings.

That's crazy! I really hope he is ok and they got it taken care of before it caused lasting damage. Did they only just discover he swallowed it or did they know all along and only now needed to treat it cause it was leaking? I am so incredibly paranoid about batteries and button batteries etc and this is why.

Krispy any sign if af or a bfp?

Jenny I am not actively ttc! I really don't want to be preggo for another year but with dh's male factor infertility if we have any hope of not needing to go back to the clinic we can't afford to waste a month. The opks are just to see if the soy worked in getting my periods back as the witch is still AWOL from me bf'ing. Once she's back there will be no more peeing on sticks for at least 6 months then maybe I'll start tracking again and get a little more serious about ttc.

No sign of either! :( But I have been having some crazy cramps the last few weeks and I keep expecting AF but nothing so far! Raif has cut out his night feeding and is STTN so hoping that will kickstart things. He sleep 630-7pm through til 5-630am. I am a lucky mama as he did this all on his own. Now to just get him to self-soothe. He is showing me signs that he is ready but I need to do some research as I have decide not to do CIO so I want to do something more gentle, like pick up/put down.
Hope the soy worked for you and your cycle gets back into swing! Let us know what is going on! :)

I think I got a positive opk a few days ago but my opks were taking me on a ride cause some days they'd be super close to positive then the next day go faint but one was positive so we'll see. I think I'd be 2 or 3 dpo today if it worked.

Maybe instead of picking im up you could pat him on his back and say something softly to him. I think picking him up for a few seconds would make it worse when you put him back down.

Yes, thank you Army! I will only pick him up if he is crying uncontrollably otherwise you say soft, reassuring things to them while patting to stroking them. You leave the room if they aren't crying but come back to reassure them if they do start. We wil see how it goes! ;)

I'm so excited! My SIL who just got married in May is pregnant! She isnt announcing it publicly for another 2 weeks when she starts showing! I'm so excited! I want to help her out by taking her maternity clothes shopping at Old Navy and Target when I get back to IL in 6 weeks. I'm also going to start looking at stuff for the baby even though I dont know if they are going to find out the gender or not.

I'm going to be in trouble when Daniel is 5 months old seeing as right now I lay him on his back to go get another outfit and 3 minutes later when I come back he is facing the other direction!

Army how did your friends little one do in surgery? Exciting news for your sil!

He is in recovery in the ICU. He will need to be in the hospital for at least another week. Other than that, I dont have any other updates.

Army - Sounds like Daniel might be on the move a little soon.

Kadence will soon be pulling herself up I think.
Been teething for ages but no little teeth yet!
Battling a cold now that she just cannot shake :(

Been so busy with the new job and my masters course, it is crazy!
