A Thread for Rainbow Baby Mommies! (Graduated from TTC and PG!)

I'm sure your little ones teeth will pop through when you least expect it :D

I know...it seems like I have been waiting for so long! lol Anticipating, dreading, waiting...

I also have noticed that Raif has started to suck his thumb...Is it kind of late to pick up a soothing habit like that or can it happen at anytime in infanthood? I thought it would have started earlier, it could also just be a phase!

Lexi started sucking her thumb at 4.5 months I just pop it out and put the soother in. She only does it if she can't find her soother.

Raif has never had a soother or sucked his thumb...I don't mind if he does I was just surprised when I noticed him doing it when he was tired the other day! Babies are so bizarre! I really wish we were on that movie, Look's Who's Talking, and we could hear what our babies thought and felt. It would amazing and so much easier! lol

That is such an old movie!!!! It's been years since I've seen it lol.

I don't want Lexi to suck her thumb so ill keep taking it out but it may be a battle I loose.

Just finished taking my soy so I should know in the next two weeks if I'm going to ovulate. Fingers crossed.

FXd Kelly! How does soy work? Can you tell me the "plan" you are on? I am curious!

You take it like clomid for 5 days and then if it works I should ovulate around 5-9 days after the last dose but I'm not sure if its the same time line when you don't have a period. We'll see. Im going to update my fertility friend so I can keep track and I will use opks this time just to see if it worked.

Yes I'm hoping it works though I'm not looking forward to having af back! The first few are always very heavy for me and I usually bleed every 2 weeks for a few cycles Ugh.

My DH's cousin's daughter-My friends and family please pray for Avery who is only 6 days old. She was taken to the ER on Saturday due to an infection on the top of her head where the fetal monitors where attached during delivery. The hospital sent her home only prescribing an antibiotic. Today we took her to her first doctors appointment and the dr. Was furious that they sent her home. She has now been admitted to Rockford memorial. They are going to do a spinal tap to make sure she does not have any other infections-

I have heard this happen more than once! Praying for Avery and her family!

Army - Yay for Daniel rolling over :happydance:

I'm so sorry to hear about Avery, I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers, wishing her a speedy recovery <3

Aww hope she is ok!

Busy chasing my tail lately. Can't catch up. Ready to stop the madness. LM is a little sweetie...screeches like a parakeet and it cracks us up. :)

Kelly wow OPKs again! Exciting! I wish we were prepared for another one. I'd try now if life wasn't so hectic.

This is basically what hapepend to my son except for a few details (type of battery, where it got stuck, etc...) Copied this from a friend on Facebook. he's 6 and has been having breathing problems, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They found out he swallowed a calculator batter around a year ago - it has been lodged in his throat since then and had tissue grow up around it. it's now leaking acid into his system, and he's been in surgery for most of yesterday afternoon. He is in recovery now.
