A Thread for Rainbow Baby Mommies! (Graduated from TTC and PG!)

My update is that af showed up about 2 weeks ago! So I'm cd 10 I think today. Not expecting anything regular though.

Nice update army.

Army - Lovely update, sounds like Daniel is doing very well with his food :D

Tyler turned 1 year old today and we had a birthday party for him. He can sit up, get himself back down again, he army crawls rather than properly crawling, he can pull himself up on things like a pro but can't lower himself back down yet, he loves trying new foods and is just a little star <3

Big boy announcement!!!!!: Daniel got his first tooth today! Expecting the second sometime in the next month. He cant stop smiling or running his tongue over it he's so proud!

Yay for Tyler! How you feeling Ex?

I wanted your opinions on baby yogurt. They say after 6 months its okay to try but I'm not sure how he'll react since dairy makes me super gassy.

Army - Yay for Daniel getting his first tooth through, how cute! :D

I'm not feeling too bad thank you, starting with a cold I think as I have the sniffles and a sore throat, ugh!

I would say just try him with a bit and see how he gets on? I guess if we don't try these things then we will never know?

I think I might wait til 8 months and try yogurt then. Now he is on a nursing strike unless he is really tired, ugh. I hope this doesn't affect my supply.

Army I'd honestly wait. Dairy seems to be a big culprit in gut irritation for little ones. I haven't given yoghurt to Lexi yet, will likely wait till she's a year. I went through a horrible lactose issue with skyler that I'm not eager to repeat with Lexi so she doesn't really get dairy at all and won't for a few more months plus I won't let a drop of regular milk tough her lips till she's 18 months. I mean it's perfectly ok for them to have some dairy like yoghurt at 6 months but if he's already having gas from it I'd hold off a bit longer.

Ex look at Tyler! 1 already! And doing so well.

Jenny how have you and LM been?

Jessica how're you and the family doing?

And everyone else! I think we've lost most of this group :(

Guess what? My daughter (not even 3 yet) has potty-trained herself basically! She used the potty 5 times by herself yesterday and only had one accident. She has used the potty once so far today and hoping to use it all day long!

Yeah Kelly, I'm waiting til 8 months for yogurt. I wont give him regular cow's milk until he is walking.

Kelly - Aww thank you very much, I can't believe that Tyler is 1 already!

Army - That is great about your Daughter potty training herself, way to go! :D

Tyler loves his Yoghurts and also we gave him 4oz of Cow's Milk today, going to give him some more at bed time aswell.

Well we had a very messy accident but still used the potty 3 times today.

Army - Accidents are bound to happen but that's great that your Daughter used the potty 3 times

That's great about the potty. Accidents will happen from time to time. Skylers been potty trained for quiet a while now but every now and then he had an accident. I'd say maybe once every 6 weeks he'll wet the bed if even.

Ex tomorrow the day!

Kelly - It sure is! I'm so excited! Doubt I will be able to sleep tonight! :happydance:

Yay Ex!

Yeah, I know accidents will happen. I don't punish her in any way for them. I just make sure I get them cleaned up as fast as possible.

Another little Prince for us :happydance: :blue:

Pictures in my journal :D

Yay, I love my daughter but I'm still partial to boys! And ont worry, I always have big babies too but I've never been induced. Of course, Jerusha was my biggest and came on her own time.

I don't think my boy is feeling well. He slept 11 hours last night without feeding, hasn't been nursing well, and has barely pooped without assistance in the last 2 days. I'm pushing water and nursing as much as I can but I seriously think he is very ADD because any music or talking while he nurses and he will unlatch an turn towards the noise.

That's typical for babies to get distracted and pull off. Lexi does it to they're just curious about everything despite how frustrating it can be for moms who just want their babies to eat.

Merry Christmas everyone or happy holidays!

Army - I hope your little man feels better soon! :hugs:

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! <3

Hey everyone! Loved reading updates!

Ex I didn't post for Tyler's bday but I definitely thought of you! Wow a year old! :) Everyone congrats on boy #2!!!

Everyone seems to be doing great and that's so good.

Army congrats on potty training!

LM got her first tooth on Christmas, lol, go figure. She is indifferent to it. This girl is so content and lazy, Hahaha. Her crawling was a once or twice thing. She would rather sit and play with what's in front of her. If she falls back onto the Boppy, she doesn't bother even trying to get up. She just lies there to play. I can see her thinking about it, then she says nahhh to herself. Cracks me up. She talks a lot and is very observant. She has also self weaned. We were down to one feed a day and I am just going to let her be done. She is not really interested in nursing anymore. Bittersweet. Thought we'd keep going for a year but it has been a smooth transition. She eats everything. We're busy now fake hiccuping and laughing. Too much fun. Haha

Well gotta go! Church in the morning. Everyone post pics soon!
