A Thread for Rainbow Baby Mommies! (Graduated from TTC and PG!)

Fun times! Lexi has 1 of her front teeth through now and the other very shortly.

She's going to be 1 in 6 days!!!!! I can't believe it.

How is everyone doing?

We are doing good. Just reorganizing the house since we have a lot more stuff to fit into this 1100 sq ft. house now. DH and I are now working out in the early mornings 5 days a week. It feels good to exercise but I've been sore for 2 weeks straight.

The soreness doesn't go away, I mean it'll hurt less but if you're doing your workouts right you should always be a little sore after. I've been exercising for 6.5 months (with a 7 week break in-between due to traveling), my latest program is weight lifting and rarely a day goes by where I'm not a little sore or achey but in a good way.

Army - Way to go Daniel! :D

Kelly - Yay Lexi for having a tooth and I can't believe that she will be 1 in 5 days!

Yeah I know the soreness is a good sign. Right now its my legs after doing 150 weighted calf raises and 150 squats (no weights).

Yup that's par for the course. The program I'm doing is essentially go big or go home so you do 10-12 reps lifting/squatting with the heaviest weights you can. I'm currently waiting for my selecttech weights to arrive as I've surpassed my largest set of dumbbells for some exercises.

OMG so tired today. Lexi got me up like 5 times last night. Sometimes I really miss all the sleep I got before I had kids.

Jenny and Jen and Jessica where are all you guys?

I'm still around and I check in whenever I can. It's been so busy around here and I am literally a mess. I am taking my 4th Masters course this semester, along with a toddler who is busy as a bee, and up to my ears in paper work in the Principals position at school! As if things weren't bad enough, I have a constant headache and I am always zapped of energy. I think my iron Is low or my b12 but I haven't heard from the Doctor yet. It sucks. I feel like I go to work, come home, give Kadence her dinner, bath her and rock her to sleep. I feel like I would be a different person if I ever get my energy back.
As for Miss Kadence, she is growing like a weed. She had her one year needles last week and she was a trooper. Three at the same time and she cried for the last one for about 10 seconds. Crisis averted. The nurse called us later that evening. Kadence is 88% taller than other toddlers her age and 87% heavier. Not sure how I feel about those stats. She is tall (we expected that) but she Is only 23 pounds. My friends little guy is 7 months and 20 lbs! I had to go out of town for a meeting on the 23rd, so Kadence stayed with my parents. She wasn't drinking much from her bottle and by the time we got home on the 27th, she had given her bottle up completely and hasn't bothered it since. I wasn\t ready for that one! She eats well though and her favorite drink is water. So far, the only things she doesn't like is spaghetti os and beans..lol. I cannot wait for Spring so we can both wear slight jackets and hoodies and enjoy the outdoors. This is the coldest winter we have had in years. Kadence has an appointment at the Janeway hospital to check that her ball joint in her left hip is catching up in size to the other on the 25th.Keep your fingers crossed for us! It hasn't hindered her walking...she can walk perfect but she does fall down a bit so we are hoping it is nothing and she is just clumsy! Going to try and attach a recent picture of her now. Would love to see recent pictures of the other rainbows too!

What a cutie! I'll post some pics after Lexi's birthday on Thursday! I would say she's not heavy but it makes sense for her to be higher in the weight percentiles if she's that tall they're based off the same norm if that makes sense so if you reduce equally sea perfectly average but just on a taller scale. Not sure if I'm making sense. What I'm trying to say is she's perfect so don't worry.

Lexi is 22 pounds roughly will know more next week at her vaccination apt. Shes got some extra rolls but they've gotten smaller as she's grown and she's not full on waking yet.

Jessica - Kadence is such a cutie! :cloud9:

Sounds like she is doing amazing and wow for giving up bottles! Tyler still has two bottles a day!

I think she might be near the 65-70th percentile. I dont remember how big Jerusha was at that age but Joshua our first son was 20 lbs and 30 inches at a year. Daniel looks like he will be near 31" and 21 lbs at 12 months. His 9 month appointment is on Tuesday. I expect him to be 19 lbs and 29 inches tall.

AFU-Daniel cut his 3rd tooth yesterday which he had been seriously working at for 3 weeks.

I notice that Kadence has 4 top teeth coming down. They won't be through for a while though but I think they are driving her nuts.

Yay teeth  Lexi has cut both her front teeth but I think bottom 1st year molars are moving now. I feel something under the gums. Ugh.

A pic from her birthday!

Army - Way to go Daniel on cutting his 3rd tooth! :D

Jessica - Poor Kadence, watching them go through teething is horrible, especially when they cry out in pain :(

Kelly - Way to go Lexi on cutting her front teeth! Ouch for Molar's though!

I love that pic of Lexi on her 1st birthday! So cute! :cloud9:

Well Daniel cut his 4th tooth today. It appears I have a tank of a boy on my hands. He is 28.5 inches long but almost 20 lbs! Very interested in walking and in table food. We are praying we can make it to one year with breastfeeding since we are down to 2 nursing sessions a day.

Army - Sounds like Daniel is doing amazing with his development. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that you can make it to 1 year of breastfeeding, what an accomplishment! :D

So it seems Lexi's gotten a late birthday present... she's going to be a big sister!

Kelly - OMG! Congratulations! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! :happydance: :wohoo: :flower:

Thanks guys. It doesn't bother me either way army but if I could choose I would choose another girl I think. And I think I'm getting girly vibes for this one now. We're not finding out gender this time either.
