A Thread for Rainbow Baby Mommies! (Graduated from TTC and PG!)

EX- Are you serious? You're pregnant again?!? And IMO you are always welcome!

Army - I sure am! I have put some pictures of my tests in my Journal. I have worked it out that I should be 4 weeks and 4 days  :happydance:

Aww thank you very much :hugs:

Were you planning on being pregnant again so soon? I'm excited for you! We're going to TTC again next September.

Have you scheduled your first OB appointment yet? Whats your EDD?

Army - We were going to start TTC in December but we don't mind it coming a little earlier, just goes to show that it can just take the one time!

That's great that you are going to TTC again next September :happydance: With us recently moving, I have to register with a new Doctors Surgery so I picked up the forms this morning, just need to fill them in and then get them back to the Surgery asap and then I can be put on the waiting list for a Midwife, my EDD is 3rd May 2014 :D :cloud9:

Awww...May 3rd 2014 would've been my son Joshua's 4th birthday. I miss him so much but glad that it is a good date for you.

Army - I'm really sorry to hear that :hugs:

Is it normal to feel guilty for becoming pregnant again so soon? For some strange reason, I feel so bad!

I guess with friends who struggle so much a little bit of guilt is normal. But you should still be excited about your little bean!

Army - I am excited but..feeling awfully guilty too! :(

Congrats ex! Don't feel guilty! That's just silly.

Kelly - Thank you and I know I shouldn't but I do, hopefully the guilty feeling will go away real soon!

I'm sure the guilt will disappear when you get to see that little heart beating away.

Ok. This might hurt my BF efforts but at least for today I cant nurse on my right side. It is slightly engorged but every time he tries to nurse on it today I am close to tears in pain. It feels like it is tearing off.

Ex! Congrats on the new pregnancy! We are TTC this month! I am really excited for you...Completely normal to feel a little guilty!

Army maybe its thrush or a blocked duct. I just cleared my worst blocked duct ever! Like just now when I nursed Lexi :yipee: it was a painful couple of days and I now have a nursing blister on that nipple.

Krippy good luck! I'm still waiting on af.

FX Krippy!

I am thinking a blocked duct. I can manage to nurse him if I hold the bottom of my breast up while he is nursing but it still hurts. I am having a hard time getting rid of the engorgement. I got rid of most of it except for a spot the size of a ping pong ball just to the right of my nipple.

Army - I'm sorry to hear that BF is so painful for you right now, hope it eases up soon!

Krippy - Thank you very much and good luck with TTC, sending you lot's of baby dust your way :dust:

Kelly - Glad to hear that your plugged duct has gone now

Hi ladies, very late arrival but I just saw your thread for the first time and thought what a lovely idea. I lost my angel baby 1/04/12 :( such a horrific time. I then then got bfp and my rainbow was due 1year and one day to the day I lost my little one. My beautiful rainbow baby boy was born 9/4/13. He is called Thomas and is the love of our life. He is now 20 weeks. Me and OH have children from previous relationships but Tom is our rainbow xx

I only go on b + b to go one one thread with ladies I've been chatting to for months but would be nice to say hi and update from time to time. I must be honest I haven't read full thread due to lack of time but I will have a read through when I get chance. I normally get on roughly once a week.

Talk soon Apple xx

Apple - Sorry to hear of your loss but Congratulations on your Rainbow baby :hugs:

Welcome Apple!

Army thats a blocked duct, apply heat and massage from top of breast down as firmly as you can tolerate and be sure to nurse every 2 hours, not nursing makes it worse even though it hurts when they latch. It will get better, just make sure you're emptying the breast as much as possible. Taking a hot shower and expressing in the shower I find works the best cause the heat numbs the massaging and expressing pain the best.
