After the BFP...TTC #1 "Graduates"

That is actually the first thing that came up when I searched it...the law suits. I didn't know what it was.

I felt so horrible. I did not get a good breakfast cause of feeling bad. I ate an orange & banana. I was hungry & grumpy & just ick. I went to McDonalds & got a 20 piece nugget. After just one I felt so much better. So I am thinking maybe when I wake up at night, I should fix me a snack. Maybe that will settle my stomach & help me sleep. I do think most of my sickness is hunger. Because I feel fine when I eat. Only a few things I avoid & it depends on my mood. And I never throw up.

I know some women keep saltine crackers by their bed and eat before getting up. My OB recommended b6 and unisom too. Yikes I didn't know that about zofran...good thing I never used it. I think just having it made me feel better. Though I did ask for zofran during my c section. They couldn't get me numb so I had to hang upside down. I was hungry and thirsty and that made my head spin. I didn't want to gag or throw up. I know you want to eat healthy but if chicken nuggets sound good...eat them! Any food is better than no food.

If you want any more baby suggestions let me know. I did a ton of research. So far I like what I bought.

My nausea has been very mild but whenever I feel slightly nauseous I just have to eat something and it goes away. It sounds strange because if I feel nauseous I have no appetite and nothing sounds good, but it works!

savvy I'll let you know if I need any more help on baby items! Thanks for all the info!

By the way, when I was done with my ultrasound, the technician looked at me and said, "I don't know where you are going to put two babies! You are so small!"

I guess we'll find out!

I am the same way with food. I guess I need to load my desk with snacks.

I went to a huge consignment sale and there were a lot of double strollers. Benefit of a military town. Loss of used items.

My friend is very short and super skinny. She had twins last year and carried them to term. She was all baby though, it was amazing. I am tall (5'9") so I had more room but everyone told me I looked too small to have twins inside. After giving birth I couldn't believe they were both inside...like how the heck did they fit? Your body can do amazing things! When is your next ultrasound Floridasian?

Feeling any better beaglemom?

I have a friend who's also 5' 9" and with her first (singleton) you could barely tell that she was pregnant until 7-8 months!

My OB said they normally do scans every 4 weeks but for women with previous miscarriages they offered a quick scan every 2 weeks to ease their minds. It'll just be a quick scan to make sure there are still two heart beats. Dopplers are unreliable for distinguishing the two heart beats so a quick ultrasound will be performed each time.

I go back in two weeks on 3/18.

I had quick scans every 4 weeks with appointments with my OB. I also went to the specialists for scans every 4 weeks. Unfortunately it seemed like the appointments were within a week or so of each other. At least I have a lot of pictures! They did an ultrasound about a minute before taking me to the OR when I delivered, I even have a copy of that...their last picture inside before they busted out early!!

I wish I had had more ultrasounds. I loved seeing him. I wish they had at home ultrasound machines like they have at home Dopplers. That'd be so cool. Lol.

Cute bumps, ladies!! They'll only get bigger... Lol.

So, Owen is already getting his first tooth!! I'm totally freaking out about how fast he's growing up! : (

Madison and Mackenzie are 3 months old today!! I cannot believe it!

How is everyone doing?

Wow...time flies!

Doing well. Starting to slow down and have some sciatica. But baby is doing well. He is measuring in the 60th percentile at my last appointment. My fluid was a little high so I need to cut down on sweets and carbs.

How is everyone else?

I can't believe your girls are 3 months old already, savvy! Time does fly!

I'm patiently waiting for my blood test back. I'm hoping I'd get it back this week. We already did the NT scan so we know the risk for chromosomal abnormalities is low but I'm dying to find out the genders! I know it won't tell me if I am having a boy/girl twin but I'll at least know if it's two girls or at least one boy!

Moni, only two months to go!! How cool. Sorry you have to cut out sweets but it sounds like he is doing good growing!

Floridasian, I am so excited you will find out some gender info soon...will you be sharing? Do you have any feelings to which genders you have? My instinct was totally wrong. I thought A was a girl and B was a boy. My hubby guessed correctly though!

Sarah, Jen and Suzy, are you still following along?

Beaglemom, how is the nausea? Any better this week?

And where is Erin? I know she is pregnant...I was hoping she would join our group!

Just got a call from my OB and my blood test came back NORMAL! Two healthy babies.

And...we're having at least one boy!!!!

I'm so over the moon right now!!!! :happydance:

Yay Floridian!!!! exciting and great news!

floridasian - so cool about knowing one is a boy. I think boy/girl would be awesome. I would totally split their room down the middle. I wanted to tell you to constantly visit BabiesRUS & Buy Buy Baby. People return things all the time & then the store reduces it to sell. Also remember mazon Warehouse deals...it is the same thing...returned items.

Not much new...I graduated from the RE...my first ob appt is next fri.

Hi everyone! I'm still here but have been so busy with all the preparations, including training my replacement at work.
I see we have some newcomers Floridasian and Beaglemom! :happydance: How long have I been away? That is such great news  Did I miss anyone else? How are you all doing?
I am almost due but my baby is breech so the C section is planned for March 30th. I just hope baby and I can wait until then. I think I've been having some light contractions in the last few days.
:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Hi Suzy! Good luck in the next few weeks and with your c section. Can't wait for your update post and some baby pictures!

Hey guys. We bought most of our nursery furniture weekend before last. I need to order a night stand & book shelf. I should get my crib tomorrow. This coming up weekend will be putting together furniture. My husband finished painting yesterday. We have some touch ups to do, but it is mostly done. It is blue & green. Very bold colors. After getting the blue done I was getting nervous about my decision. But after he finished I was so excited. My funiture is a natural color so I think it will be a good contrast. I will take some pics tonight. I have to seal the furniture because it is unfinished. I also finished my registries. I really do not know what I am going to do with myself the next 7 months. Hopefully just relaxing & organizing.

Fri is my next scan & this is my last week of meds!!!

Can't wait to see some pics beaglemom! I thought I was ahead by finishing up by 30 weeks, but you have me beat...by 20+ weeks! Do you like to scrapbook? My plan was to spend the last month or two working on starting a scrapbook. That way I could just put my pictures from the big events...coming home, first bath, etc...in the book quickly. Never got a chance to though since I went into labor so early.

14 weeks old today! Can't believe it!
