I had told my husband we should do that...would have been so hard though to keep the twin secret though we were successful keeping the genders a secret. Next time...lol!!

I cried watching the video, Alison. That was great but I could never do that to my family and friends! Besides I'm sure once everyone saw how big my bump was they'd be constantly teasing me "are you sure there's only one in there?"

Afm, owen is good. He'll be 5 months on Monday... I can't believe it... But he's so much more interactive now so it's getting to fun stages. : )

Thanks for the update on Sarah. I was wondering about her since her tracker shows the baby should have been here by now.

I've been working on my baby registry. MIL has set a date and reserved a space for the baby shower and is now asking for my registry. My registry is actually more of a shopping list for myself than anything else though so we're doing a lot of research on the specific brand and model of everything we want/need. Other than that I'm just waiting for my anatomy scan on Wednesday. A little nervous but mostly excited because we'll finally be able to find out the sexes of both babies!!

On Wednesday?! Omg so exciting! Update us ASAP!!!
And yeah, I put anything and everything on my registries. Most places will send out coupons to complete your registry a few weeks before your due date so it's good to have everything on there to use the coupons. Target sends out like 9 15% off coupons, so think about registering there. Lol

I set up registries at Walmart, Target, & Amazon. I tried to make sure I had no duplicates. And I plan to use mine as a shopping list as well after any showers I have.

I thought setting up multiple registries would be confusing to people but now that you mentioned it - I might do that just to get the coupons! LOL!

I did multiple to accomodate different households. Like my sister refuses to shop at Walmart. And we have a lot of out of state family, so we chose Amazon so they could ship it. And we are Walmart people because of my husband. And those are the 3 simpliest places to register in my opinion...everyone should be able to find something between the 3. And then some sites didn't have exactly what I wanted. Like my car seat adapter is only at Target because they carry Eddie Bauer.

I registered at babies r us and on Amazon. Babies r us gives you 10% back from purchases off your registry, we just got a gift card for over $300 because people simply purchased things off our registry! I highly recommend going there if you have one close by.

Owen is good, he'll be 5 months on Monday. We've started puréed veggies and baby cereal, he's loving it. He loooves avocado. Lol. He's about 15 pounds now so he's getting big fast. : (

That's awrsome you got so much back from babies r us. I registered at babies r us and target but i don't think that anyone even went to babies r us. Everything I got was from the target list so I didn't get anything back. Boo!

The nursery work has sort of fizzled...but I have some great new ideas I plan to surprise my husband with.

I feel pretty good. Had another appt which was just a look over & heart beat. Next u/s is May 26th. So I can officially confirm the gender.

I don't think I would get a lot of traffic on Babies R Us either. And I don't really prefer them. For big stuff I would rather drive out of my way to Buy Buy Baby.

5 months! Wow! Time flies! Owen and the twins are so close in age!!

I prefer buy buy baby too but couldn't beat the 10% back offer at babies r us. Plus it was more convenient with more locations near us.

So our nanny flipped out on us. She is tired of the babies crying and misses her home. She lives in a different state far away. I think she is going to pack up and leave soon. I feel bad for her, she wants to join the military when she turns 18 but My husband and I agree that she would never make it a week in the military if she can't handle two tiny babies for more than a few months. It is nice to have some help but she is a bit lazy and probably causes me more work in the end because she just get stressed out and makes the babies stressed if they don't eat quickly or sit quietly with her.

Wow, sorry about your nanny, savvy. Was she living with yall? And for being under 18, I can see how that would be overwhelming for her... But hey, at least it's some good birth control! I bet that girl won't be getting pregnant soon! Lol. I'm sure now that they're older, you've kinda got a good routine set. I know now that Owen is older, he's so much easier. Are you just going to try to do it on your own now?

She was living with us since February but honestly didn't help me too much. She is lazy and let her school work slack, she sleeps over 12 hours a day and only works on school work for about 2 hours, right when the babies start crying. I am sure she won't be getting pregnant any time soon! Maybe I can call a local high school and run a good birth control program over at my house...lol! You are right though, I have figured things out and have a pretty good routine right now. Seems like things get easier as the babies are now able to start entertaining themselves for a few minutes at a time. Of course they would rather that I entertain them! Mackenzie just likes to be held, either sitting up or standing constantly. Madison wasn't as interested until about a week or two ago and now she loves to stand up while you are burping her in a sitting position. We joke they might walk before they crawl since they love standing! The nanny will be leaving in about two weeks since the airfare is insane in price right now. I don't think I need another nanny and there is a younger girl down the street that my husband talked to her mom a few weeks ago and she is interested in helping me over the summer if I want to take the babies to the zoo or park to walk. I guess I am over the teen drama! Maybe I am too old for it!

Sorry about your nanny situation, Savvy! Sounds like you might be better off without her though. I didn't realize she was that young. Hopefully with the twins a little older now you might be able to handle both of them yourselves without help if you can't get a replacement right away!

So here's my big news! Had my anatomy scan this morning!! I was so excited to see the babies because I haven't seen them in 5 weeks.

Both babies are doing fine, measured right on track, and are perfectly healthy. Baby A had a heart rate of 134 and weighed 8 oz and Baby B had a heart rate of 153 and weighed 9 oz.

I'm doing great too with a cervical length of 4.04cm!!

And we found out that Baby A is a GIRL and baby B is a BOY!!!
