All the lovely ladies due in january

Hi everyone,

My name is Tara I'm 27 and I was given 2 dates Jan 24th then Jan 26th so I'm just going to go with January 25th lol. This is my first child after 1 miscarriage back in 2004. I am having a girl, her initials will be the same as her fathers. C.A.L and her middle name will be Alicia after my mother.

I am so excited it's unbelievable, then again it's not because we are all in the same boat so I know we all feel the same way.

I had MS from week 5 till week 13 I lost 13 lbs, and as of Wednesday I found out I gained back 9lbs which I'm happy about.
I feel my little princes moving around as I type and since I'm smaller I tend to feel a lot.

I do have a question since i'm so READY to do this, but when did you all start to decorate the baby's room?

Hi ladies, I am Kristen (27) and my hubby Gino (33) are expecting a little boy on January 10th. This will be our first child and we are so excited to be having a boy, it was my gut instinct from the beginning. My pregnancy (knock on wood) has been amazing so far. I had no morning sickness, and have mostly just been tired. Apparantly my mom was the exact same way with all 3 of her kids, so maybe it's genetics. I am starting to feel my little guy more now, as I have an anterior placenta. So it has kind of gotten in the way for the past few weeks. I just can't wait until my hubby feels it.

We still have quite a bit to buy before he arrives, we are hopefully going to get our nursery set this weekend. Sometimes it feels like there is just so much to do to prepare, but so worth it! :)

Hi mommyB, Congratulations on being on team blue :hugs:

I think it has a lot to do with genetics. My mum was very sick with all of hers and had very fast labours. This seems to be the way thet i have gone too. I'm thankful for the fast labours but not the MS lol.

Hey ladies :flower: I'm DJ and I'm due on the 25th January! We have our 20 week scan 10th September and are defo staying team :yellow: as it's our first baby!

Hi DJ987, Glad you are starting to feel better. MS is no fun is it ? :hugs: Team yellow whoo hoo. I am so impatient lol. I just want to know

Hi Tara, Aww a little girl congratulations :hugs: I have not weighed myself for at least 4 weeks i cant bear it lol. All mine have slept in my bedroom for a couple of months so have decorated after they arrived. This time though I'm going to do it all before baby arrives. I want to put the baby in its room and into a routine earlier this time. As it's my 4th and i have 3 others to care for i don't feel so relaxed this time lol. :hugs::hugs:

Hi there everyone

Having my first baby, due 23rd Jan. Had pretty nasty MS and the nausea still hasn't completely gone away but at least I'm not throwing up anymore. I think despite the nausea, the aches and pains and other general annoyences, I am really loving being pregnant! Baby kicks loads, probably gonna be a hyperactive kid!

Had a scan done at nearly 19 weeks but was told it was too early to do the proper measurements so I get to have another scan later on, but also to check on the cyst on its brain but I've decided that cysts are normal enough and I won't worry. Will just be glad to see baby again and hopefully find out for sure what the sex is and the cord was between the legs at the scan. But I was told maybe its a girl.

Only bought a few clothes I saw for cheap in a second hand shop, and an ear thermomoter but leaving other purchases til later.

Hello girls - Im cala and im 31 and im due on the 17th Jan, got a great daughter (13) and a wicked OH....still having horrid MS but not daily thankfully - had my 20 week scan on thurs and we are on team pink - So so excited, decided to stay away from pink and keep neautral but the MIL and SIL had other ideas and had bought pink within minutes of the news lol.... got quite alot of stuff but still got bits more to get - just a great excuse to shop!

Hi Everybody :hugs:

I'm due Jan 09. I'm having twins and since last week we know it's two girls :)

I'm having some trouble with the pregnancy in the last weeks. Turns out the cervix length is shortening. Not yet of concern, but need to go for a weekly checkup and very nervous about the development. Also, I unexpectedly fainted last week and ended up staying in a hospital for 4 days while they checked all sorts of things and eventually found nothing other than, guess what, I'm pregnant.

Haven't bought any equipment yet. Had a miscarriage last year and the worst was sitting on the baby clothes that my mum organized (then she gave them to somebody else, and once they were gone I promptly got pregnant again.) So I think it can wait till month 7 or so.

Best wishes to all of you :flower:

Hi Can I join you?

I am due in January - the 13th to be precise - I had a mc in December 09 so have been a bit fretful this pregnancy, but so far so good ( touch wood ). We found out we are having a little boy and have called him Oliver.

I had ms - well nausea mostly - only sick 5 times. more recently I have developed quite a bump, heartburn and swollen ankles.

I have lots of items promised to me by friends and my sis who have had boys so am buying little bits but will buy a lot of stuff in the January sales when I know more what I need - I have got my crib tho off ebay.

Hope everyones well :)

Hi Natsku, Awww how nice that you get to have another scan :hugs: I hope everything goes well at the next one. I think cysts are quite normal it may be that it's gone by the time you have your next scan :hugs: Fingers crossed. The nausea is a pain in the backside i hope it leaves you alone very soon :growlmad: I am definitely going to start shopping next week after my scan. I can't believe how organised some of you are :happydance: Let us know how your scan goes and if you are indeed having a little girl. :hugs::hugs:

Hi hb1, Whoo hoo team blue congratulations :hugs::hugs:

Sorry for your loss :hugs::hugs:

I'm glad to see someone else has developed quite a bump lol. I am quite worried about the size of mine :dohh: My DH thinks i may need a crane to help me up come the end. He is already pulling me up of the sofa cause i feel so swollen
I to am being handed some items from my friend. I think she has a chair, sterilizer, clothes, toys and a walker for later on. I have had a little look online at a few items i think i just need to make a decision lol. I'm sure there will be no holding back once the scan is done :happydance::happydance:

Hello Tanara, Congratulations being in team pink :hugs::hugs:

I think a lot of ladies i have spoken to are suffering with heartburn :growlmad: It almost like you swap one thing for another. I feel like i should have a tick chart. MS tick, Heartburn tick, Backache tick, lol. The list is growing by the day lol :dohh:
My little girl who is 5 is a right little daddy's girl. To the point that she doesn't like us sitting together on the sofa. If she is in another room we like to wind her up  I say no no daddy don't sit by me and she comes running in and sits between us lol.
:hugs::hugs:

Hi girls. I'm due on January 25th with my 3rd baby, my first with my husband though. My scan is next Thursday too so there's a few of us. I'm planning on a home birth this time as my first 2 were really quick, in fact, my daughter was born at home but not through choice!! I was a bit unprepared if I'm honest. I'm hoping that planning this one will make it a little more enjoyable. Looking forward to sharing experiences with everyone. xxx :flower:

I'm due January 24th with my first. My scan is on Wednesday and we'll be (hopefully) finding out blue or pink - everyone so far seems to think blue!
So far all I've bought is a breast pump and a box of baby wipes from the Asda baby event. My Mum bought me my lovely Quinny which I've set up in the dining room and refuse to put down! She'd saved up £100 in Tesco vouchers so we got them doubled up in the recent offer to get £200 off!
MS has died down now, thank god, but I still feel a bit sicky if I don't get the tea on early enough in the evening. Only ailment at the moment is dizziness, I can't even stand up in the shower! I must look a right weirdo sitting in the bath with the showerhead pulled right down. Thankfully OH loves me for my strangeness! Getting properly hormonal at the moment too - I cried the other day because OH used the bacon I'd bought to put in some pasta sauce. I know I'm being ridiculous though cos it's half crying half laughing at myself!

Hi, I'm due the 16th Jan...
Don't know whether the January Jellybeans thread has been mentioned already but it was set up for Jan due dates but was moved with all the other "month" threads to the Groups discussion so there are more there with Jan due dates...

At the moment my only real pain in the a** is suffering from a hideous cold!! which just seems wholly unfair when I have a little bub to cook in my belly!!

I'm also suffering with my back - I find that I have days where I can't do any housework so I let it pile up and then do it all in one go which then exhausts me and seizes my back up... but do I learn?

We are team yellow but desperate to know the sex, how are you all doing for names? we have a shortlist on both sides but nothing firm yet... anyone willing to share?

I'm the same!! I cried (and when I say cry I mean totally sobbed my heart out) for about 20 minutes when OH kept telling me to use a handkerchief rather than the (clean) tea towel I was using to blow my nose (I have a stupid cold). I know he was right but don't keep on at me.... lol:coffee:

Hi all

I am expecting my 2nd child on the 27th Jan and i have my 20 week scan on the 14th sept where i am hoping to find out what we are expecting.

With my first pregnancy my labour only lasted 4hrs but in that time i was transfered to another hospital 25 mins away as my son was in distress due to the cord being around his neck and i had to have a paediactic/assisted delivery.

My son is now 5yr old and i have a feeling i am expecting a girl this time which would be great as this will be my 2nd and last pregnancy so it would be nice to have 1 of each :)

With my son i had awful MS from week 8 through to week 38 but with this pregnancy I had awful MS from 4 weeks through to 13/14 weeks but i am feeling much better now :D but i am already the size of a baby Rhino - i am HUGE !! lol

I just cant wait untill my 20 week scan as my first scan was at 10 weeks and it seems such a long time ago now :( i want to see that everything is ok.

Hi im briony and i'm due 12th jan with my first, and a little girl :)
Had my first 20 week scan just under 2 weeks ago and the little madam had her legs crossed the whole hour so had to return a few days later to do extra measurements because of the position she was in last time and found out it's a girl- Scarlett Rubby Norris :happydance:
I had morning sickness from about 8 to 14 weeks, was terrible went off loads of food, was sick in KFC toilets, that were out of order.. Very embarrasing! :haha:
So far i've got little bits like sterilizer, baby monitors, clothes, nappies, changing boxes with all the bits inside like johnsons things :) Wipes, cuddley toys.. So once pram, cot and moses basket is out the way i can relax and get her clothes and things for her room :D
xxx
