All We Want For This Xmas... Is a Baby!!!

My EDD for this cycle would be 2nd December which would be so lovely for me as even if he/she was the full 2 weeks late I should still be home for Xmas with my two other babies! I'm trying not to think about it too much though as I've no idea if I've ovulated early last week or yet to ovulate! Good luck girls, hope there are many bfp's here!!

Are there any opk experts here? Before Ov do they get darker and darker and after do they get lighter and lighter or do they go up and down all the time? I ordered some for next month but since I've no idea if I've ovulated or not I thought I'd try them out. I think they're going slightly up and down but I THINK they are getting lighter overall? Does that mean I already ovulated?

I had what felt like Ov pain cd 11,
Blood streaked cm once per day on cd 14 and 15, also feeling a little crampy,
Then light bleeding (more than spotting) cd 15,16,17
And still getting browny cm when wiping today which is cd 18

All that combined with opk's that I think are getting lighter, do you ladies think I already ovulated? I normally have fairly long cycles which is what's putting me off thinking I did.

some womens opks get darker and darker before a positive but for most its a bit all over the place, mine can be fairly dark one day, completely negative the next and full blown positive a few days later. The only way to be sure is to keep testing until u get a proper positive and chart to confirm ovulation. Plus alot of women get + opks before af shows up.

at least if u keep testing u wont miss it but without charting i wouldnt presume i have ovulated just cos the tests are lighter i would keep going, whats your cm like do u track that?

That's what's kind of confused me. It was just like ewcm that was blood streaked on cd 14 and 15 and 11-13 was sticky, almost ewcm. I've been dry ever since apart from the bleeding which has finally stopped completely now. I don't know wether to keep testing or forget this month and really track properly next cycle?

Allstar - my LH surges are so quick that I have to test 3 times a day during my fertile period - once at 11am, once at 2-3pm and once after dinner time (around 7-8ish). If I dont test this frequently i miss it... it literally only stays really dark for a couple of hours.

Everyone woman is different, i read on here sometimes that some ladies get dark readings for a day or more... not me!

That's what I'm planning on doing too! I never managed to get a positive when we were ttc before so I think I must have a short surge too. So I'm trying three times a day, hoping I can catch it. Yours are looking good!! Have fun!! ;-) x

Its nearly 730PM here in Paris and my OPK has already turned negative since my positive result at 2PM today. So it just goes to show... It really can come & go in the blink of an eye!!!!

If your cervix is low and closed and u have no cm i wouldnt bother wasteing the tests just keep an eye on it, just cos u had long cycles in the past doesnt mean they will always be long, I used to O around cd20-25 and these last 2 cycles it has been cd 17 and even cd 13. But keep checking in case u havent and if your cervix changes or u get more cm then test and see. x

Thanks so much for your help ladies. I've never rally checked my cervix before. I'm assuming I just have a feel about? when I went to the lol earlier I had almost ewcm I think! It was quite stretchy but not quite clear yet so I'm hoping I'm almost there maybe?
