am i being really thick?

the link to my journal in my siggy.. its the right link, but when i click it, it just takes me to the main front Bnb page?
what am i doing wrong!!
(and how do i make it so that the link isnt the full link, but just some text (ie.. MY JOURNAL) which links to the relevant page?
