anyone got pregnant after ovarian drilling?

AFM DH is being very cooperative at the moment ha ha! he is even initiating dtd which is most unlike him so in the last 4 days we have DTD 3 times. Getting lots of cramping on my right side today and yesterday had lots of EWCM so really really hoping this means that the OD has worked and you never know....i am putting this month down to practise but really it would be amazing to achieve that BFP. Come on everyone lets catch up Kyla. LOL!!! xx

Thanks ladies :hugs: I am still in shock at my surprise :bfp: :happydance: Cridge said not to give up hope and I guess I am also proof that you shouldn't. :cloud9:

Anupur - Yes, I'll post onto Scerena's journal. I've not seen my Dr yet, I am hoping to get an appointment tomorrow as the Dr then closes until next Wednesday because of the Jubilee long weekend.

I want to see if I can get booked in for an early scan, certainly before week 12 as DH is away all of week 12.

I forgot to say that I also used Preseed when I got the 'second' faint positive OPK. Maybe that helped

So, I'm nervous and hopeful. It would make me so happy for others to also get their BFPs.

Miracle - Good signs for you! I've got everything crossed.

Yay Kyla!!!!! I'm so so happy you finally got your BFP!! I had a feeling... :winkwink: :happydance:

Oh Kyla, this is such amazing news :cloud9:

Yes, I think all girls on here should never lose hope! Yes, for somme it will happen pretty much right after the OD and others may still have to wait a year or more - but it WILL happen

Have you posted any pics in the picture section? Huge congratulations and Happy and Healthy 9 months!

Thanks Cridge and Maria! :cloud9:

I've seen the Dr this morning and have my first midwife appointment next Friday. My Dr wasn't sure if the FS will want me to continue with the metformin or not...FS is on holiday so he phoned another consultant who said to continue it as it might help me not gain too much weight, and then see what the FS says when he gets back.
He said I can continue swimming but no gym or zumba (what a shame :haha:) to be on the safe side. I also found out I lost another kilo, so Metformin must be doing me some good.

Maria - I've not posted pics yet, I'll have to work out how to do it!

Sending lots of dust to all the ladies who are waiting for their BFPs too. :dust:

Kyla - please by no means stop the Metformin!!! Regardless of what everyone tells you (and our MW and GPs are totally clueless) you need to stay on it until the birth! Otherwise chances of miscarriage (including in 2nd Tri) increase dramatically!!

Thanks Maria, I'll make sure they let me stay on it. I didn't know that about Metformin.

Tella - how are you doing? :hugs:

Congratulations kyla! :happydance: fantastic news, my situation was very similar to yours I was taking 1500mg of metformin and my doctor advised me to take it for the first trimester as there was evidence that it helped to prevent miscarriage during the stage but no evidence that it has any benefits after. I am now 14 weeks 3 days and all is well.

I am just taking vitamin d and frolic acid now.

So pleased for you h & h 9 months! :flower:

I was told to go off Metformin as soon as I got my BFP, I did as I was told and everything is alright, easiest pregnancy ever, so I think that the Jury is still out on the debate on Metformin while pregnant, I would listen to your Doctor

I also had to come off metformin when I was pregnant was told to come off by 12 weeks... but things change all the time so I would check with your dr. Don't stress about it though and enjoy your pregnancy xxx

Thanks Maria, Kat, Pitty and Miracle. My GP is writing to my FS about the metformin. I'm fairly confident he will give me the right information for my circumstances, he's supposed to be one of the top NHS and private PCOS-infertility specialists in the area.

I'm feeling happy but also scared. Cridge - I am feeling how you felt in the first few weeks.

today is my cd2 and i started to take clomid 50mg. I decided that i will go for folicular scan this cycle also. How r u doing my all friends? Today very tired so goodnight cant open my eyes.

Thanks Nikkia - how are things going with you? :flower:

Babylove31 - Good luck  I tool pre-natal vitamins every day on my ttc journey, I also switched to organic dairy produce like milk and yoghurt because I was concerned about the hormones in regular dairy.

Anupur - New cycle = new start. I really hope you respond now to the Clomid, great idea on follicular scan - keep us updated :hugs:

Charbaby - Not long to go then. I remember being so scared in the run up to mine, but it was fine, and I'm so glad it had it done. I don't know if you've read back in the posts here, I now have a BFP. I did try Femara rather than opting for Clomid after I didn't ovulate on my own. I'm sure you'll get good results, keep us updated - the ladies here are amazing and so supportive :friends:

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

AF came 2days late, but yes she came with a vengence.... So far for the last 3 months I had a 31day cycle, this month it has been a 33day cycle, not too far off considering I never had a cycle nearly as close, I hope this means I am heading to a regular cycle.
I am still enjoying my break and just came back from holiday.

Look after yourself ladies, especially the Preggie ones, we are going to get there, sooner or later.

Much love to you all,,,,,,
Xoxo

I just had OD on friday n hv some serious bleeding n other girls say they dont hurt but i had more than 4-10 holes drilled. I hv trouble getting up n getting comfortable. My husband n I hv been tryn 2 concieve for 4 yrs. My mom has bone cancer n 2 yrs ago they gv her 6-8 months to live in so i believe God has already got a plan of healing n blessings r on the way. Clomid is a very nasty drug. It mite work for other girls but when i was on it i had a lot of anger n depression. There were things they said wud b or saw on dye test n it did not show up except for the xtra adhesions. I hv had pcos forever n that was a shock waking up from anesthesia. Keep ur head up to everyone and keep believing and praying n that God is amazing through the hands of drs.
