anyone got pregnant after ovarian drilling?

ooooh i cant wait for the BFP news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will all be praying for you tonight!

You gonna test tomorrow morning?

good luck,,,,,, lots of baby dust to you......
i will say a prayer for you today!........

if i may ask, how was the procedure ?

The procedure was simple and pain free. DH's numbers were really good 44 million swimmers with 90% motility. :happydance: They showed me the papers with all of the numbers before they started the procedure. The worst part was having the speculum in after that, I didn't feel anything! After she inserted the speculum she said I may feel some "knocking" trying to get through the cervix, but I didn't feel a thing. It was over within a minute! Then I had to lay flat for about 10 minutes. I did back to back IUI so I had to go in yesterday and repeat everything today.

This is going to be a long 2WW for me and I just have a feeling I will feel every symptom possible!

Can't wait to hear your news MommyMel!!

good luck snflwrgrl! The 2ww is a killer, but I'm excited for you.

MommyMel - any news?

Cridge - has af arrived yet? Have you tested yet?

Snflwrgrl - good luck for the 2WW! Are you on progesterone suppositories?

I'm CD1 today...hey ho! Went out with work last night and had a really good time (helped by A LOT of drinking :wine: ) have another outing planned for next Wednesday. This cycle I'm taking EPO+Starflower oil capsules; Sage leaf; WellWoman conception vitamins and Metformin. I've bought 10 cheapie OPKs and will start doing those from CD10 or so. Its also this cycle that I'm hoping to see the new consultant at The Bridge. So I hope time will go quickly. I'm just feeling a bit hopeless and defeated right now...as if I'm beginning to accept its all for nothing and we should just give up. And I'm also beginning to feel quite angry with my body...like I try to eat healthy, cut out drinking, avoid exercise and saunas/baths after ovulation - and its still all for nothing! So this cycle I plan to liive as carefree as possible. Go out, get drunk, go swimming and to the sauna!

:bfn: ,,,,,, but no :witch: yet............ whats going on with me ??????????

i feel like screaming :brat:!!!!!!!!!

Im so sorry!!! It seems like this is the month for cruel cycles! I had all the symptoms and still BFN, you still dont have AF and a BFN, it is crazy!!!!!!!!

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

WHAAAT???

MommyMel - I can't believe it :nope:

This is one cruel joke Mother Nature is playing with you. I can't even begin to imagine how crushed you must feel right now. And obviously we didn't help, all being convinced it was BFP...sorry.

Tella is right - last month has been horrible and mean to a few of us and it makes af feel even worse :nope:

But like you said earlier all we can do is pick up the pieces, accept it and KEEP TRYING! :hugs:

i nevr knew how much inner strenght i had untill now...........
i still have sore boobs and no AF,,,,,, so i dont know what to think !!!!!

but i would like to thank you ladies for your kind words and encouragement, it means so so much to me...... i wish we could all meet one day.... just to meet and chat,,,, would;nt that be something !!! lol

i feel very emotionl today..... one minute i feel like crying, then later i am laughing.....

sometimes i wonder if i will ever conceive,,,, but i wont loose faith.... i will keep trying....

Mommymel - sorry to hear about bfn but keep you chin up.
Last year I went 5 1/2 months with no AF and lots of bfn's and my dr told me to try and stay calm and as relaxed about it as possible because some times the more you stress while waiting for AF the longer it will take to arrive.

I will keep my fx'd for you.

Xxxxxxxxxx keep positive xxxxxx

Just a quick update on me.
AF arrived last Tuesday while I was on holiday. And for the first time in I don't no how long I didn't really suffer with any period pains which was nice.
I am cd11 and my boobs are aching on the side?
Lots of bd'ing this month so fx'd

Mommymel! What is going on?!!! I'm am completely shocked! Since you're not temping, it's possible you ovulated much later than you thought... If af hasn't found you, maybe wait another week and test again. Ugh! I so thought you had it this month! If I were you, I'd start temping now just to see if you can figure out what's going on. I hope you just ovulated late and your bfp is still to come. I'm so sorry!

Maria - you're on metformin this month?! What dosage? Have you been on it before? It's a killer the first couple of months, but if you stick to it, hopefully it will work for you. Just be sure to start it out slow...ly...! I like your plan for this cycle though! Live it up girl!

afm - 15dpo, high temp again today and still cramping - which is driving me mad because I never start cramping this early. I full on expect a low temp tomorrow and to start spotting tomorrow, with full blown af on Sunday. I did test yesterday (argh) because I had the cramps and half expected a low temp yesterday morning. When it was still high, I indulged myself. BFN. Ah well, I hadn't really gotten my hopes up for this cycle anyway (once my hopes were completely dashed early on). Sometimes it's a good thing to have a long luteal phase, but goodness I wish this cycle would just be over. I'm coming up on cd50.

Cridge - Ive been on Metformin for over a year. 1500mg. Ive never had any side effects from it  But no benefits either by the looks of it. But I can't really stop taking it because that could increases chances of m/c if I were to ever fall pg.
MummyMel - I agree. You could have ovulated later so it's just too early to test! Your boobs just can't be so sore for now reason!!!!

Hi my update is I went for another check uo Wednesday and the specialist was very happy and he thinks my body is working a bit more! Last day of clomid today so we will try again this month

Maria - I thought it was strange you hadn't mentioned going on metformin all of a sudden. :) You're super lucky for never having any side effects! I was sick as a dog for almost 10 weeks. I'm up to 2500mg because it doesn't seem to have done much for me over the last year either. 2500mg is the highest my doc will go (and me too, I think). I hate taking it and especially since I don't know if it's really doing any good, but like you said, you can't just stop taking it either because of the risk of mc. Ugh. The things we go through.

fee - good luck with the clomid again this month!

ok,,,,,,,,,,,, so :witch: decided to show up this morning,,,, my cycle is totally out of scheduel..... why why why ????
:growlmad:
what do i have to do to conceive ??????????????:headspin::headspin::headspin::headspin:

yes, i did ovulate late as the OPK said,,,,, and did :sex: till yesterday..... so i tried to cover all my bases,,,,,,,

ok, next month i will try and try again,,,,,nothing new to me.... lol

i will also give the temp thingy a shot,,,, MariaF how does that work ?

Hey MummyMel - temping requires a nack :winkwink: It may take a couple of months to start seeing a chart that's meaningful.

What you do is buy a digital thermometer. Preferably that has 2 decimal points. I think you can buy special thermometers for ttc'ing on the internet.

Then, you take your temp every morning (within 1-2 hours if you can) either in your bum or your vagina :wink wink:

Things that can affect the reading are: alcohol consumption the night before (well, more than a glass); getting up several time to pee during the night, les than 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Then create an account with FertilityFriend and enter your data there (it's all free). It will build a chart for you.
Let us know if you have any questions as you go along :thumb up:

Cridge - yeah, I just went through the list of all Im taking this month - it's what I take every month (well, sometimes I also take Clomid). Apart from Metformin it's all herbal and natural.

That supplement you mentioned sounds great! I heard great things about most of the ingredients (especially liquorice root). But it's not cheap  On the other hand I paid about $15 just for liquorice....

Fee - great news about your body playing ball :thumb up:

I have my CD4 bloods on Monday to check LH, FSH, Oestradial, Rubella, Syphilis (sp?). Then once all the results are back and I sent them to the clinic we should hear back with the date of the first appointment in a few days (I hope)! :happydance:

I'm due to have LOD in the next few months i'm just waiting for my operation date. I've had a lap and dye before and was diagnosed with PCOS and mild endometriosis (this was back in 2009) I was just wondering if anybody with PCOS and who's BMI is 25 or lower has had success with LOD? I would love to hear sucess stories as i'm a bit scared to be honest.

Thanks

Maria - yeah - that sup is a bit expensive, but I'm going to give it a try come January. I think it looks great! Let me know if you try it out. I'm excited you're having blood work done on Monday! I hope this next cycle goes really well for you!

Mommymel - I take my temp orally. I believe fertilityfriend.com has some online training courses - or so I've heard. I haven't looked at them at all, but I'm sure they teach you all you need to know. I read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and if I ever have a daughter, she'll be reading the book once she starts maturing. It's really good.

Becks88 - welcome! If you were brave enough to read this thread from the beginning, you'll see that there were a lot of bpf's after OD for people. Don't be scared for the procedure - it really isn't that bad and recovery time is quick. If you have a lower BMI, I think your chances of it working are better than if you have a higher BMI. ;)

afm - on to Theory B. Had another high temp this morning so I guess I'm somewhere between 13-15dpo instead of 16dpo today. Based on my temps, I'd be 13dpo, but my nips started getting sore days before that and they've never been sore before I ovulate before. So I guess that's a first. Having low temps for the first few days after I ovulate isn't out of the ordinary either, so I thought for sure I was 16dpo today. Ugh. Will this cycle ever end?! I have blood work on Monday (testosterone check) and my first acupuncture appointment on Tuesday, so I have something to look forward to anyway. Guaranteed af should find me no later than Wednesday. :-=
