Anyone in their 20's and ttc #1?

Hmm yh I dno if we will manage it tbh lol like I said we are both working shifts so will be difficult..it's worth a shot tho I'll let you all know how it goes

If anyone's interested here's the plan:

"Try" every other night starting Day 8
Buy 10 ovulation predictor kit sticks
Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
Skip one night, then do one last "try"
Take a home pregnancy test 15 days after your ovulation test was positive, if your period has not begun
If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.
Statistics coming in from women who write me show that about 40% of post-miscarriage women will get pregnant on the first try if they are faithful to the plan, about double the number of the normal population who are not on the plan. This assumes, of course, that you waited for a normal cycle to begin after your loss, and did not begin trying before having a period after a miscarriage. Many women do not ovulate in that first cycle.

I ovulated yesterday! A whole .84 jump in temperature! That's my biggest jump since I have been temping :) Maybe this will be the month! Now for the TWW, good luck to everyone!!

I used soft cups this cycle, I feel that I am getting a little desperate :). Do y'all BD the day after ovulation as well?

Megan, mine is a little.. strange...

I take clomid CD 5-9 and then get an O inducing shot on CD 15. we are sent home with instructions to BD on CD 15 and 16. So we usually end up BD CD 13, 15, and 16. No idea what day I actually O (not sure if it is the same day of the shot or the day after.. I suspect it's the same day as the shot because about 2 hours after the shot I get some severe cramps).

Megan I'm getting desperate as well haha AF is due today but ff is saying maybe tomorrow now. Both days are pink on calendar. She has not showed her ugly fade yet but I'm not very hopeful. Have had a lot of pms symptoms. If she doesn't come tomorrow ill test Sunday. I'm normally very regular.

FLArmyWife, how long have you been TTC? How long were you TTC before you were put on Clomid?

Ella10, this is an exciting time and also a nail-biting time! I wish the best luck with your testing this weekend. I've used a few apps to help track. I did like Glow, but the community boards were getting overwhelming to me. They had so much negativity on the boards, and I would catch myself reading them ALL the time. I have been using Ovia, and I really like it. Ovia tells you practical times to start testing and I do like all the different symptoms and variables you can enter in your log. How long have you been TTC?

We were NTNP/ not paying attention to when I O'd etc.. from May 2014-July 2014. Then in Aug 2014 I finally start to track stuff and start trying to time :sex: around suspected O. I was put on Clomid in March soo.. cycle 8.

I find me stalking these boards sometimes and I need to log off, up t iPad away and leave haha maybe because it's new for me. But I need to stop. I can't obsess over it. Especially if it's going to take a long time. I'm currently only finishin month 2 of trying. Only 3 months off Bcp. How long have you been trying??

It can get obsessive! I sometimes think its healthy for me because we are trying to keep it a surprise, and it gives me a way to talk about it. I got off birth control at the end of September, so this would be our 7th month TTC. I don't think I ovulated the first few months and I wasn't taking my temperature, so it may not be a full 7 months :)

Megan- I agree. We aren't telling anyone we're trying so this is a healthy way for me to get my questions, comments, concerns, and excitement out without spoiling it

We are also trying to keep it a surprise and this is my outlet for it as well. It is helping. It helps to talk about it!!

Oh and AF showed up this morning :( oh well.. Onto next month

sorry about the :witch: but think of it this way, it's a brand new chance to try again and maybe if there are things you wanted to do but didn't get around to (like trying preseed or drinking green tea to help with CM, or drinking red raspberry leaf tea to thicken your lining) you now get the chance

It is hard keeping it a secret! This has helped me ALOT. Sorry that AF is showing, but like FLArmyWife said, it is a restart!

Through this journey, I have realized that very few women have gotten pregnant right away! That is encouraging, because right now 7 months feels like seven years :) I just have to be grateful that I have a husband that wants a baby just as bad as I do and it will be worth the wait!

Hello everyone, I kind of fell off the bandwagon. Updates since I've been gone, I started my first cycle of clomid on April 4th, trigger shot April 14th, and only 3DPO. The TWW is already killing me. We are only going to do Clomid for two cycles, then try IUI.

I have never felt like this before, but I have a strong feeling it didn't work this cycle. How is everyone else doing?

Kymd, you are on the exact same CDs and clomid days as me. I also had the trigger shot on Tuesday, but I O'd that night so I"m 4po

I agree it's my month to try new things. To be honest... I was disapointed because I want a baby so bad but was 100% ok with it because December is not my first choice to have a baby. Busy month and would have been due dec 25.
This month I'm going to continue temping (will be my first full month... Ff didn't detect ovulation last month), and get back to the gym. I've been off for a month and need to get back for my own good. Exercise is something I need to keep me happy. And I fell off the wagon. If it doesn't work this month I'll try opk next cycle.
I may look into the raspberry tea. I enjoy tea. And am trying to stop my morning coffee run to save calories and money. Does it have to be a special kind?? Also... Will ff detect ovulation if I do t have vip membership... Free trial just ran out.

ArmyWife- that's great! Hopefully we both get our miracles this month.

Ella- if FF means fertility friend, I am pretty sure it still detects ovulation for you. If you're not satisfied with that, try Ovia by Ovuline. That's the app I use and I love it.

So I started having pretty bad cramps this evening. I don't have a clue what brought it on but I wish they would go away. I feel like it's too soon for cramps to be a good sign for me. Maybe not though.

The online TTC community is so encouraging and uplifting and has definitely helped me keep that we are TTC a secret! I am glad I didn't tell anyone when we first started trying because I know I'd be getting questions from everyone as to if I'm pregnant... and since it has taken me a year so far, that would be tough! I also check the hashtag 'TTC' on instagram and follow a few people who are having problems with fertility. Through that, I have gotten a penpal who lives in the UK and I'm in the states. So that's pretty cool. :)
